Its a taverne where you can order some snacks and meals. Good choices, staff is friendly and helpfull, paying attention to their customers. Waitingtimes are ok and the food is good. Prices are normal for what you get. A nice surprise..

We stayed at the Royal Hotel and nearly had a meal there - not much choice. We dicided to go around the corner and founnd this great restaurant. What a find. There were only 4 staff serving about 50 people. 2 were in the kitchen and one was serving the tables, and one was serving drinks. Although the menu wasn't in English, the waitress translated it for us at the table. She offered us the wonderful line " This is scampi with, er, what do you call it . . . . .I don't know the word in English You know it, it's the thing that the vampires are frightened of . . . " "Garlic?" "That's it! Garlic. Scampi in garlic."Try the wonderful stooflies (flemish stew) with the local draught Belgian beer.

Je kent het wel, frietjes eten na een zware nacht. Na het smullen van de frietjes is je kater zo over. Behalve afgelopen zondag dus. Weinig bezieling door de 2 werkende mensen, stoofvleessaus van ondermaats niveau. En alsof dat niet genoeg was slecht doorbakken kipnuggets en kiloâs zout op de frieten.Resultaat: weinig gegeten en nog steeds een kater. Frietcultuur onwaardig.

âT Schuttershof is een mooi en gezellig restaurant (het is alleen iets te warm als de haard brandt). Een uitgebreide menukaart enkel weinig keuze aan alcoholvrije aperitieven. Het eten was heel verzorgd en lekker. De bediening was vriendelijk!

Alweer een tijdje geleden. Zoals overal is de ene keer al beter dan de andere. Deze keer was voortreffelijk! Voor 6 personen geboekt. Zeer vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Eten bijzonder lekker!

Ordered Pad Thai from the menu @ 16,50â¬Afterwards, I noticed they charged 22,50â¬I complained about this and got a BS story about the difference in VAT and service charge when ordering takeaway versus eating on premises. The waiting time was also quite long even though there were not that many customers.Restroom was clean and functional.Thank you for your reaction.1. All the food we serve is fresh prepared on the wishes from our clients, so our customer can choose, not spicy, light spicy, spicy or the real Thai spicy. What is much more confortable for our customer. We not living in a big city, we need to have happy customer who like the food at there wishes and who are happy to come back!2. By take-away food the VAT is 6% by eating in a restaurant the VAT is 12%3. All the prices stays in the menu for eating on premises, the price list for take away is a different price list with different prices.4. By eating on premises you get a napkin, knives and forks, a teller and more you not have to do the dishes. Everything will be done for you at end of your dinner. And then you complain why there is a price difference between take away and eating on premises.A price of a beer in a bar is different then when you buy a beer in a supermarket, isn't it? Or a spagetti take away from a supermarket converse eating a spagetti in a restaurant.5. About the waiting time, when you like to eat food prepared long time before you eat it and just heated in a microwave you can have quick food. But we prepare all the food directly fresh! Nice restaurant. Very friendly owners and staff, nice garden to have a appetiser or eat if you want (although with uncomfortable chairs ) nice interior (with good chairs there ). Nice varied choice of dishes. Our table had 3 different dishes all very well prepared. Worth the visit while in the area.

This time we went there for a Wedding reception and it was just great again!!!The garden is well maintained and decoration was really nice. The welcoming was really nice as well as the drinks and the food.It's always nice to be recognized as we had our wedding there as well a few years ago. We just love to go there over and over again!!!
