A bit more expensive but worth the extra. We kept to basic burgers and should definitely get back to try the more "advanced" ones. The hand-cut fries were excellent.

Next to his French training and kitchen the chef also has an excellent selection of tapas.
I really don't get how this place ended up with this rating, TrAv ratings tend to be on the higher side but this is especially strange. Two of us had a steak which was, well let's just say a bit hard to chew down your throat. The steak tartare had a bit of a funny color, was a bit roughly chopped to my taste but you might prefer it and had a good salad accompanying it, taste itself not that good. Before we proceed to the more negative aspects I might add they had a great bear selection and the service was absolutely adequate. Now I'm not going to compare the atmosphere to that of a funeral home though one might feel inclined to do so after visiting on a more quiet night. But what I am going to do is mention the more serious thing about this visit, besides the bizarre prices (these definitely tasted like $10 meals), was that our fourth member was forced to taste the mediocre tuna steak for the second time when he had to jump out of his bed at 03:00 to empty his stomach in the hotel toilet. p.s. He kindly contacted the restaurant through their email warning them there might be something up with their tuna, specifically mentioning that he was not looking for compensation, but they have so far declined to comment on this issue :D

Being invited by a local, this restaurant was a real surprise! Superb kitchen, worth a 'Michelin Star'. Many small bites in the 'Orangerie' already set the scene before we went to the restaurant. Excellent service, not too expensive (â¬125 for 2 persons - suggestion menu). The interior is very nice renovated, but from the street, this house would need a small 'refurbishment' to live up to the level of its kitchen :-)

This restaurant is very popular in Roeselare, is in good location just a bit away from the main square of the city but certainly walkable. This is our first time coming to the place, we have a good welcome from one of the staff.Coming with family and friends, we have a separate room. Arrived at noon while waiting with other guests we got a welcome drink. The weather was good we can sit outside for pre-dinner drink while inside there were reception tables ready but seems everyone like to sit outside. Outdoor sitting wasn't too big but just enough for usWe have our aperitif with apetizers served outside. We already have the menus, everyone got the same dish beef, except me, I don't eat beef meat. We have an hour to enjoy the aperitif and appetizer, then, we have to sit inside where the meal is servedFor entree we got a plate with asparagus, scallop and salmon, good combination. For main dish, I have duck meat while the others have beef, the plate is served with steam tomato, bean and sauce in it, french fries serve separately in a bowlFor dessert we have a plate of freshly baked apple cake served with a scoop ice cream on top decorated with strawberry and almond flakes. Personally, the plate dessert was one of my favourite, I find the menu dish less worth the price. The food served nicely in a plate, that's what countsThis is a 1 star Michelin restaurant, I find it not worth for a star rating . The interior of this restaurant has nicely atmosphere with plenty of spotlights, makes the room so attractive. Is not cheap place to dine but the service and quality of the food is what matters

A lucky shoot to discover this excellent restaurant in the center of Roeselare. A warm welcome (professional advice about more than 100 sherry's) and a very delicious menu, from start till the end. Congratulations to Sofie for her outstanding talent and to her husband for the human service with a smile. We will back, very soon !!!

This is a classic Flemish family restaurant in an old renovated bourgeois building in the center of Roeselare. This is a very warm and welcome place where the chef and his staff are genuinely happy to see you. They offer a menu of classic Flemish cuisine. I had my first (house-made) shrimp croquettes in ages and they were excellent. I had a clubsteak (cote à lâos) afterwards which was Belgian blue white beef (usually not my favourite) and there was definitely plenty of it. Excellent wine menu available.

Breakfast - brunch - lunch - sandwiches- quiches - salads - tea - many coffees - pancakes - pie - ice cream - smoothies - juices - many more!
A brilliant place to meet friends for a catch up or even for a quiet sit down after a busy day shopping. My favourites: the croques and of course the pancakes - but which one to choose? And then the teas - waw - so many to choose from and so beautifully presented. Go! You won't be disappointed!

Our evening in Boury was perfect from the start till the end. Five minutes after entering the beautiful renovated mansion, we already saw 3 or 4 different people welcoming us and introducing us to the menu. The house cocktail was amazing, the perfect start of the evening. So were the apetizers. We decided to go for the 7 course menu with wines. Every dish was totally different and gave you an explosion of taste. The wines were very nice as well, even though not all of them were according to my taste. However, the quality of the food and wine was excellent. The cuisine is quite pure (something I like) with pure tastes and ingredients. One minor remark is that they billed one glass of wine we decided to skip. We also had to wait quite long for 2 courses, but the atmosphere was nice (a fire was burning outsidem ,,,) so this did not really bother us.The service was very good. There is a certain etiquette, which I appreciate, but the people are not stiff and were very kind. The evening ended with a suprise as we received a small sweet bread for the morning after. These details make you go home with a wonderfull feeling. A big thumbs up for the entire Boury team, and I will surely come back in summer to enjoy the terrace and outside kitchen!

There is no more sincere love than the love for good food. The address where gastronomy and conviviality find each other.
The food was very good and with had a lot of flavours - family business with husband and wife - very nice reception and relaxed atmosphere - the menus were only in Flemish or French - The lady could not speak english but that did not put any barriers to our enjoyment of the food as the lady was very accommodating
