We literally stumbled upon this place by chance. After a long day of tromping all over Luxembourg and Belgium looking at WWII sites, we were on our way back to Wiltz. Being vegetarian, I was having a hard time finding somewhere to eat in Wiltz that wasn't a pizza place. I suggested Clervaux as we had been to this town the day before and it seemed like they might have more places to choose from. We landed here with the pleasant surprise of having 2 vegetarian choices listed on the menu!!Although we didn't have reservations, they were able to accommodate us immediately. Our waiter was very kind and patient with our French and our food came out promptly! My husband had a trout that had been caught locally and I had a vegetable souffle that was melt in your mouth delicious. After dinner, the chef (who is also the owner) came out to talk to us. He is the 3rd generation owner of the hotel and restaurant and was very personable and welcoming. In fact - I was sorry that we hadn't booked a stay in the hotel! I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant experience with outstanding service.

We found this place by chance on a last minute trip to the Ardennes for a sunny bank holiday weekend. Normally it's closed on Sunday evenings but as it was a holiday they were open, and thank god they were! They are on the banks of the river Ourthe and we ate on the spacious terrace, a great location. The road is next to the restaurant but wasn't busy enough to disturb the peaceful setting, and the view down the river is lovely. The menu isn't huge but there is something for everyone, and the wine list offers a large choice. They have a menu option which is very reasonably priced, and judging by the portions we received ordering à la carte, would also be very filling! There was a selection of amuses bouche with the house aperitif including a creme brulee made with Ardennes ham, which was a surprise and very good.Starters include salmon which is smoked on site in their own fumoir, and home made foie gras, both of which were delicious. Mains are very generous and of a high quality, and include calf sweetbreads, as well as more traditional steak and fish dishes. Local wines are available and again, very fairly priced. Desserts and cheeses are great, and we rounded off our meal with a well prepared and very alcoholic Irish whiskey, which we took indoors as the chill was beginning to set in. Indoors is just as nice as the terrace, with options on intimate seating or larger tables for bigger groups, and open fires lending a cosy feel.Service is very attentive and yet totally unpretentious and very friendly. The final seal of approval for us came when our dog was also welcomed with open arms, both on the terrace and indoors. Not a bad word to say about this family run restaurant - thoroughly recommended!

Great Restaurant. Ate here 3X. Steak cooked on a stone was the best.
tracked this gem down based on Tripadvisor reviews. Not disappointed. Staff were welcoming and handled our minimal language skills with ease. Food was fresh and fantastic. Eclectic decor and the clientele was a real mix, families, tourists of all ages, couples and friends. Great atmosphere.

Cozy little restaurant halfway between Vielsalm and Trois Ponts. Delicious and simple Ardennes cuisine in an authentic 19th century building.
This place is a little bit off road when your close to VielsalmBut it's Definitely worth going to.First of all the place looks very nice It's a place where locals blend in with touristsit's also very open to families and large groups The food is very delicious, it's typical Belgian cuisine with a main Menu and some seasonal dishesThe best part is the meat,The owner's dad owns slaughterhouses and always brings the best meat parts to the restaurant The place also serves the local Belgian beers. ( beers that you can only find in that area)One downpart the place is only open in weekends.

In their culinary restaurant, Koen & Laurence Timmerman cultivate their art in order to fulfil your wishes ! IN THEIR KITCHEN, PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO CREATIVITY AND EVERYTHING THAT CAN BRING OUT REAL TASTE. The chef loves to work with fish and vegetables in
Bit remote, few mile out of centre up in the hills Nicely redecorated. Good ambiance and very friendly family running this. We took the advised lunch and it was more than worth the money. Nice bottle of wine and all happy!

I admit I am used to some high level eating maybe therefor I was not impressed with this restaurant. We had the menu prestige and I have to admit for the money you pay you will not be disappointed, lot of amuse bouche dishes and then a six course meal. However as I started my review, there where a few dishes with strange combinations and not one of them wowed me from the table, so mission not accomplished for the restaurant. The service was fluent and efficient, so all credit to that. The last thing however I want to review is the wine. We had the wine pairings but were completely lost on that point. It was plenty but it did not serve the food at all. For instance the first wine was served with the first two dishes, who were based on the same fish but tasted completely different, so they needed at least a different wine. Sometimes the wine overpowered the dish (fish of the day course) and with the dessert it was a cider that was way to bitter to go with two sweet dishes. So not impressed with that at all. I regretted not to have chosen my own wine from the wine list, and since I not saw it, don't know the prices. For the money its good, for the food and certainly for the food/wine pairing, there are much better places to eat.

This charming hotel was very nice and found accidentally while looking for a room in town. It was our first stop and looked very cute from the outside. It was our luck to find a room for one night and also they serve excellent food in their restaurant. The owners run this property, husband is a chef and wife seems to take care of the rooms and all the administrative duties. Nice rooms and very quiet. Just a few minutes away from downtown. Lovely small streets and historical buildings, church and cute shops. If you like something romantic, this is a lovely town to see during your trip to Belgium. Definitely recommend this hotel and their dinner menu prepared by the owners. Nouvelle cuisine with fixed menus.

Here is the good taste to all tables, it mixes with the charm, quality, and humor ... Which makes you to unforgettable!
This restaurant is located at the edge of the village Marche en Femme. My friend had reservations for the night, but we arrived early. We just had a bottle of champagne for starters and that was the beginning of a tasty adenture. The wines were fantastic and the food just superb. The atmosphere was so cosy, while the place turned out to be a busy one. Staff stayed on point and friendly. If you ever are in the Ardennes near Marche en Femme (also know as middle of nowhere), go and have dinner here. You won't be dissapointed!!

Charming little house with a beautiful garden giving the whole a note both contemporary but warm and intimate. A beautiful kitchen in the times and based on seasonal product .
We woke up this morning and thought today we just want to have a lovely lunch in a beautiful restaurant and we read some reviews for restaurants in the Wallone and found tLa Table de Manon. We are so glad we did, it fulfilled our hopes. The restaurant is a really lovely space, I don't think that the photos really show what an elegant and restful place it is. We were impressed by the menu, and my sister who has a lot of allergies was excited to hear that the chef was happy to adjust recipes to meet her needs. Each of our meals (we had asparagus and seat bread entree, amb and fish for ) were lovely. The meals looked beautiful when they arrived on the table, The flavours were subtle and complex with rich and delicious sauces. We finished with a lovely rice pudding with a tropical (largely mango) sauce.Dear TroppoRaatus ,You made our day ! Thank you so much for your kind words, we are really happy to know that you enjoyed your time at our restaurant ! Looking forward welcoming you again Manon
