The owners of the restaurant kept the historic rustically atmosphere alive of this former farm. Coletje is not just a name, it is the name of the former owner and woman living there who reached the wonderful age of 105. The rest of the story you can read in the menu while waiting for your meal. The kitchen is very good with a menu of standard dishes Belgium is known for and service is fast even on a crowded day. For all things remember to keep some room for dessert because ice cream is delicious here and pancakes are wonderful.

We took a drive to the area looking for a place my husband has to attend a meeting later in the week. After finding where he will need to be we headed back but decided to have lunch. We happened along La Plazza Brassiere and we were wonderfully surprised. Itâs a quaint place with excellent service and very tasty food. Portions are hearty so go super hungry!
Bistro Maritime Belge is a small but cozy restaurant in the heart of Heppen, Leopoldsburg. From Wednesday to Sunday you can enjoy different fish and meat dishes, prepared with daily fresh ingredients. High quality food for an affordable price, that's what
Very Cosy, great food, good choices of wines! I like the lobster (which you can order in different preparations) top service also!

Seating outside is very nice. Service was friendly and quick.Menu offers the standard belgian bistro choices, nothing special on the menuThe food itself was priced rather high for the quality we got.Steak was tasteless an also not seasoned properly, sauce was rather greasyVery small side saladWines were rather low quality also. The red housewine was served way to warm and lacking flavor and depth..Also the white wine is not really recommended.Overall, nice scenery in summer, but very standard food at high prices.I was Not at all impressed

Zest is situated in an ancient, very nicely, renovated farm a bit outside town away from the main road, so you will not find it easily when not looking for, or knowing it. The history of the farm is described in the menu card and also interesting for American visitors. Place is well visited especially in week-ends and can get a bit loud when crowded but we would not blame this on the owners or personal. Reason why, is rather the lack of discipline by the present public, more specific when they are in bigger groups. Service is very kind and kitchen excellent. you definitely get value for money We will surely be back soon.
Classic restaurant with French Belgian cuisine and regularly changing suggestions. Extensive wine and drinks menu. Specialties: lobster, sole, steak
Ontvangst door de gastvrouw een beetje aarzelend maar wel zeer vriendelijk.Kreeftenmenu is overheerlijk. De kreeft wordt vers uit het bassin gehaald. Hier geen diepvrieskreeft. De verschillende bereidingswijzen zijn top. Ook de wijn is betaalbaar en lekker. Een prima, sfeervolle zaak.

In the center of Leopoldsburg you can find a little restaurant which serves good quality food. Especially the spare-ribs and steaks are very nice !!

The dishes we had here were very tasteful, and the portions were quite large. We ordered the champignon toasts and the penne all'arrabiata. Both were served with meat, although it was not mentioned on the menu. This is unfortunate since there was a vegetarian and a vegan in our company. The penne was also served with a cream sauce. It was delicious, but not what we ordered.

Cooking inspiringly with vegetables & in a vegetarian style is not a given for every cook. De Gastvrijheid went beyond our expectations and serves amazing dishes, a pleasure for the eye and a real treat for the tongue. Even when having meat eating friends & family (or being a meat eater yourself) you won't be disappointed. Everyone open to explore new things, letting new tastes and textures in will find this an incredible experience. Once you have discovered this place, I'm sure you will be heading back soon for more!
