The place is not appealing, but the fries are made from scratch, using local bintje potatoes, they are delicious. It is a typical popular restaurant, where one may eat fries and a beer for 4 euros. In his book "Blue highways", Moon talks about 4-calendar local eateries, well this is one of them. Half the pleasure is the discussions between the tables, mixing football and pretty high level philosophy.

Looks nice inside, rustic ambiance, but ...Food was average (rumsteak, entrecôte).SERVICE?! was very poor :(not caring for the few! guests, some were served peanuts with their drink/apéritif, others not!waitress&waiter prefer to talk to their frequent customers/habitués and chat together instead of doing their joblazy waiter who had to be chased so that we could finaly pay!?

A friendly Belgian friterie, often packed with people (it's a takeaway). In an area devoid of eateries, this place is much welcomed, and the man who works there is charming too. Very reasonable prices and swift service. Few vegetarian choices (only 1!). I recommend the belcante mexicano sausage, and the pepper sauce (very nice!).

Détour intentionnel pour manger de bonnes frites belges avant de rentrer en France.Je confirme les remarques qui nous ont décidées à nous rendre dans cette friterie, endroit très propre, pas dâodeur de friture sur nous et le plus important les frites y sont très bonnes, pas trop grasses et pas trop salées, top! Par contre les pouly croc & co nâont pas dâintérêts... Des frites, des frites, des frites ;)

This is an older hotel traditional in its appearance and with good location at the main square of Arlon. Nice restaurant, looks like they remodeled recently. The staff is friendly. Older reviews were not as good but the place surely worked on quality and hospitality. It is a good choice to stay in and dine.

The food at this popular and fairly priced local place is decent. But we were left to wait 45 minutes-plus for simple beef brochettes when more newly arrived local customers were served more swiftly. Insult to injury was when the one waitress went out for a smoke and we were served shortly thereafter.

It is a typical brasserie decor and menu with salads, standard simple dishes and weekly specials. Everything is tasty , their portions are generous, the french fries are simply superb. And prices are very reasonable.This is our " go to " place for a quick bite to eat.

We were 3 men on motorcycles. We were able to park right outside the door and had a really lovely prawn salad with avocado and mango..... then an enormous plate of frites arrived.Service was good and the food particularly tasty.

Monday evening I had dinner at this restaurant with my collegues. We really had a very good time, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the excellent service. The place is a little it out of town, hidden in the middle of the hills, surrounded by foresta. It was not warm enough to have dinner in the outside terrace, but, I'm sure I will try it once back in summer time.Prices are reasonably high, but the loction is worth wile.
