Pensjonat Luan

Welcome to the newly opened guesthouse Luan in the pearl of the Polish coast - Wladyslawowo. The unusual name Luan comes from the first letters of our daughters' names - Łucja and Anna. Our facility was built based on years of experience in the field of tourism, the style of the house refers to the Scandinavian design. Our professional staff ensure a memorable stay. You will find comfortable rooms with terraces, a lift, a colorful and interesting playground for younger guests, a climate restaurant with a great menu, a spa and underground parking all in one place.

Luan restaurant to be avoided

Reviewed By Agata J

Worst customer experience ever at the Luan restaurant. Instead of dish (A) we got totally different dish (B). After 30 min of waiting "correct" dish was brought. It turned out to be a dish (C) - totally wrong again. The waitress who delivered the food seemed to be angry at us that we even commented it. The funniest thing is that we ended up eating the dish (C) which was cheaper and were charged for more expensive dish (A). Once leaving the restaurant we were commenting that the whole case was handled really unprofessionally and the lady after hearing it started to shout at us (!!!). No ability to say "sorry", making same mistake twice, charging more instead of giving "sorry-discount" and shouting at the client... I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place! Ps. Plates are not worth its value - we had to go to another restaurant as we left hungry after eating in Luan Pensjonat

Great spot in Władysławowo

Reviewed By Martin M

If you decided Władysławowo is where you gonna go "Wojciech" is a good choice. It's very kids friendly. Playroom and Lego room are brilliant and very well maintained. They also provide some animations for kids. Our daughter loved the Magic show. Rooms are very modest and simple but big and spacious. No AC. The attic rooms get quite warm even when it's not hot outside. They provide breakfast (buffet) and early dinner (4pm to 6pm) Dinner is two courses - soup and main. There is no choice here. Food is great quality and very tasty. Saying that if you don't like polish food you might be in trouble as there is no choice. Not everyone likes hot dogs for breakfast every morning. Good thing my daughter does. One day that was the only cooked option for breakfast. The whole place is spotless and extremely well maintained. There is parking onsite available for an extra charge. The big negative for us was Wojciech isn't wheelchair accessible or buggy friendly. So if you have a newborn or a small baby who sleeps in a buggy a lot etc it's a pain as you have to leave your buggy outside (they have a special room for it where all buggies can be stored for night time). Beach is a walking distance but it's not close. And it's the most crowded beach I ever been to. That is the Władysławowo beach. In general the town isn't pretty. The town feels like a housing estate and doesn't have that beach resort feel that most polish sea resorts would have i.e. Hel, Sopot, Gdańsk. There is lots to do around though.

Generally ok, but a few drawbacks, no responsibility for failures

First, this is not a hotel [-] but a holiday resort, partly renovated old-time resort. I would give it two and half stars. Our deluxe apartment was quite pretty and tidy [+] but very small [-]. There was hardly room for moving for two people. Adding a baby bed (no additional fee [+]) leaved literally no space between the wall and the bed. Functionality was average: a small fridge [+], LED tv [+], a desk [+] (however verry narrow and without drawers [-]), but no place for suitcase [-]. Every night some mosquitos flew inside the room and were difficult to kill - there was no mosquito net [-]. The beds were quite large and comfortable [+], very soft. The food was fine [+], nobody left the dining hall hungry for sure - there was a vide range of different dishes available [+]: hot meals (3 times a day), cold meals and snacks, desserts, tea and coffe from coffe machine, juices. You can notice however that some meals are poor quality: adipose and full of onions. There are nice niches along the corridor with armchairs and a table [+], however not all of them have AC/DC sockets [-]. The pool is quite short [-] and there were specially chosen hours when the guests were allowed to use the pool and saunas [-] overlaping partly with the dining hours [-]. The resort tries to utilize the facility as much as possible, so during our 10-day stay there were “green school” (school holiday camp) accomodated (many noisy kids [-]), during the weekend there was the wedding party held (some noisy guests singing in the night [-]), and during the week there was some kind of a banquet held, so the dining hours and the place of meals were changed couple of times [-]. There is a room service [+] that cleans the rooms and changes towels, takes out the garbage, but they tend to knock the door even before the breakfast hours [-]. I asked via email for a table tennis, was informed that there is one.. However in turned out that this “table” is actually a concrete table placed outside the building, near the fence, overgrown by plants [-]. The building is 3 storeyed, the reception is on the first floor (accessible by stairs or by elevator but using long foot way around the building [-]). The is only one elevator [-]. And it tends to break [-], which it did on the first (arrival) day, so we had to bring the suitcases, and the baby to the third floor using stairs - we were unable to take the stroller, necessary as the only device that helped seat our baby. The elevator was one thing I especially asked for via emails. Every normal enterpreneur would bear the risk of facilities breaking himself and propose a discount. But not here. When it came to the settlement at the reception, I asked to considere the fact of at 3 or 4 day elevator inaccessibility. The recetionist did not say anything but the “manager” who did not bother to introduce himself, replied that I should not exaggerate, he turned his back and walked away (!) [---].

A lovely bed & breakfast pensjonat situated just out of the town centre, but within walking distance of shops, bus/rail stations, eateries, and beach (albeit latter is a fair distance). We had a lovely apartment with two balconies. Nice and clean, with regular change of towels (every other day). Breakfasts were self-service, with a large selection of cold meats, fish, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, jams, breads, cakes and drinks (juices & hot beverages). Pleasant and helpful staff.
