Here at The Delatite Hotel we like to embrace and enjoy all that is good in the region. Good food, cold beer, crafty ciders and local wines, local art and our regular muso's playing some blues and acoustic sets, we hope there is something for you too at the Delatite Hotel. Our upstairs accommodation is suitable for singles, doubles, families and small groups. The courtyard parking area is locked overnight, giving extra peace of mind to guests with trailers, motorcycles etc. We also have a lockable bicycle storage area. Please note; all rooms (except one) are share bathroom, and all rooms are upstairs. Sorry, but there is no lift. We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful region, and helping you have a good stay.
We were lucky enough to book Room 12, which is the only room with an ensuite. Absolutely fantastic. Very spacious room and the windows opened out onto the front veranda where it was lovely to sit and have a drink and watch the sun go down. Real luxury. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food at the bistro was very good too.

Boutique accommodation in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
Had overnight stay @ Yarra Gables in Healesville, Victoria. Ralph, the owner was thoughtful to estimated our arrival. He received us personally despite raining, made sure facilities fulfilled to travellers’ expectations. Good for travellers who need private space with separate rooms. Cozy, neat & clean. ??

All the staff were very pleasant, and we had no trouble with the apartment itself. However, the cleaning regime was haphazard to say the least. We were staying for a month. In the room, a notice informed us there would be no cleaning! Reception told us we would get a “deep clean” every Tuesday during our stay and we could request fresh towels or bed linen in between. First Tuesday, we returned just as cleaner left. We had to run after her to show the marks still on the mirror and coffee table. The second Tuesday, we were left only one hand towel. The third Tuesday, we didn’t get cleaning. They were too busy, they said. After complaint, we were done Wednesday. We left a sticky note on the headboard to clean three weeks dust. The fourth week, they appeared on Monday late afternoon, which was not convenient for us.Nothing was “deep cleaned” . The carpet edges were filthy. The washbasin was only wiped over, soap marks remained. The cleaning staff seemed at best inexperienced or at worst inefficient. The constant trips to reception to request dishwashing tablets, or washing powder, or one more towel, became tiresome.

I am a regular business traveller to Bendigo and have often seen the Oval Motel at the top of View Street. Lately Elvis and Marilyn have seen Bendigo accommodation swamped with visitors, so I decided to try the Oval Motel, leaving some extra budget for a good dinner. Glad I did... The welcome from Jacinta was great, she had turned on the heating in my room and was a great source of information on everything Bendigo. The Oval has gone to town with the Elvis theme, with touches of Elvis everywhere. The room was super comfortable, warm and well decorated. They have really gone way beyond your standard dull highway motel, and it feels more like a high end bed and breakfast. The bathroom shows its age, but the water was hot and the array of toiletries on par with the Hilton. Am I impressed - absolutely. And for $119 including a drink from the fridge this has to be the best value in town.

I had trouble booking initially as I wasn’t getting replies to my enquiries so I ended up using a third party site. Check in/out easy and they were very flexible which was great. A lovely apartment let down by the noise from I think the penthouse upstairs. At 4am we could still hear chairs being dragged. Underground secure car park a bonus and the location was great.

Pleasantly surprised at how good this motel was. On the map it looked quite some way from the city centre, but taking the 'back' road it was quite close. The room was clean and well presented with good facilities. We would stay again when we next visit Bendigo.

A recently refurbished motel on the much quieter Marine Parade, alongside the Lakes Entrance North Arm. Modern facilities and tasteful decor make it a suitable option for those staying overnight, or exploring the area for a few days.
Super friendly Super clean Great location, quiet. Nothing is a problem Highly recommend Michael welcomed us on arrival and the first impression was how tidy the lawns and gardens were. Room well presented and smelled so clean, without the hospital odour.

Where to start? .Check in at another hotel with 1 staff member dealing with a queue of 10 and also answering phone calls. Executive rooms are actually tiny motel rooms. No cold water in room as feed beneath sink turned off. Turn it on and bathroom flooded overnight. Given incorrect password to wifi twice. Website says free parking, when you arrive they charge you. Bathroom fan loose in ceiling and vibrating like a helicopter. Dead batteries in TV remote and no staff on site, had to switch batteries from air con. One breakfast cereal bowl for two people, so took turns to eat as no staff on site. No info on what to do with key card when you check out as has no staffed reception or drop box. All this emailed to their Head Office and 18 days later no reply or acknowledgement. Conclusion: complacent, uncaring management. You have been warned.

We offer guests 24 hour reception, car parking, onsite executive lounge, media room, gym, spa and sauna.
Stayed here due to proximity to Cabrini hospital where we had a sick relative. Underground car park has designated bays but is a bit confusing the first time you use it. Parking rates excellent. Room was on the 11th floor and fronted Dandenong road with excellent views over S/E suburbs and the bay. Too noisy though with traffic and train sounds insufficiently suppressed as well as outside light at night. No restaurant but a short walk to Derby St where there is a supermarket and several great asian eateries. The staff are helpful and work hard. The real issue for us was other guests with a 3-30 am loud party next door with smoking on the balcony and the night manager twice had to get them to stop the racket. The next night there were young people running around the hallways at 4-30am in the morning yelling and knocking on doors. Feel for the staff here as their client base appear to be fairly feral.
