I am embarrassed to confess my visit to Hotel Lamy took place in the summer of 1987! I spent the summer doing woodwork on a yacht in a nearby boatyard. But my stay at the hotel remains a unique and wonderful memory. The owner, Monsieur Lamy, and the staff, were courteous and accommodating. The room was small but clean with a beautiful view with walkout access to the beach below my window. It was perfect. The town with its shops and restaurants, the markets, the surrounding countryside and other nearby locales were enchanting. Every day was a pleasure and my only regret has been that I’ve never found time to go back. An omission I look forward to correcting soon.

What a disappointment especially given the cost! The rooms are very outdated and the bed is probably one of the worst I have slept in. They could do with investing in some decent pillows instead of the almost flat and poor quality ones they currently have. Likewise some new linen would go down well. The room was very spacious and spotless and clean but the bathroom had a fusty smell. Breakfast was plentiful and at €10 euros pretty reasonable. However we were charged for wifi! Who charges for wifi these days really! Won’t be going back.

During our trip to Provence we’ve picked up the most magical guest houses to stay in and La Grande Lauzade was an absolute favourite. First of all, the story of this old establishment, which used to be a church, but was demolished back in the days and the only thing that was left was the arch of the altar. A beautiful ruin that was the beginning of a new story, this beautiful house that can be your home in Provence for few days. The building is absolutely gorgeous and so is the pool and terrace where you will be serving breakfast next to other guests and the owners. It is a great way to meet new and interesting people that all have the same interest, having a happy life and traveling a lot. We loved this part of our stay at La Grande Lauzade and also the pool area is simply amazing, super relaxing with a gorgeous view to the vineyards and an old pine tree. They also have an indoor pool/jacuzzi. The covered pool is at the basement of the house, next to the old wine cellar and everything looks amazing. It is a very relaxing area with a lot of wood and chill music, perfect for a rainy day. The rooms and the whole house are very beautifully decorated, mixing a modern and vintage style. The kitchen area was also stunning. I know I keep repeating these adjectives, but it’s true. They also have a gym and a very interesting ‘room’ located inside a school bus. It looked super cool and it has its own porch with a hot tub and comfy chairs, so it was difficult to choose whether we should stay there or in the house, but we chose a room in the attic, because the living room and kitchen area was too beautiful to miss while coming down from the room. Really recommend this amazing place for short and long stays in Provence!

The hotel was wonderful and the grounds are beautiful. Sophie and Lou were very nice and immediately made us feel welcomed. Thankfully, their English was near perfect. The Restaurant was fantastic. The food was great and their service was top notch! The Manager, Erica was superb. She made the experience very memorable. She is very personable, attentive and an excellent representation of this company. She sat with us and even was sharp enough to catch, in passing, that I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. She brought us desert and candles to celebrate. I highly recommend this hotel and especially the restaurant.

It is in Carqueiranne, in an exotic and cordial decoration which Mrs. and Mr. Dauphin accomodate you. Located at the edge of Méditerrannée, the rooms of hosts of the "Cote d'Azur" will enable you to benefit from a pleasant stay at the very least dépaysant in one from their three rooms sets of themes, Bali, Vanille and Lagon. This typical environment of Provence d' Azur offers to you a diversity of landscapes with places of interest like the Islands of Hyères.
We stayed in the Bali room, which was gorgeous. The jacuzzi tub was just what we needed after driving all day. Not much to see in Carqueiranne itself, just a small port in a little bay. The view from our window was nice. Breakfast was your typical French breakfast, with tea or coffee and French baguette, croissant and pain au chocolat. Our host was very friendly. Next time we will definitely stay longer than a night, and try to go in the summer to take advantage of the great pool!

Situated midway between Cannes and Saint Raphael, the Mas de la Coste, although contemporary, has a soul of ancient remains. It is nestled in the hills of the village classified Fayence, 5 minutes walk from the center, its restaurants and its markets. Mas offers a haven of peace, spa, indoor pool and panoramic views, 5 charming cottages to luxury
This is the 5th time we've stayed with Jackie and Louis and it was great to finally be back again after the pandemic. It was as good as ever and this time we booked the room with the terrace with a wonderful view over the valley. The pool is lovely and heated to about 27 degrees, breakfast is excellent with a range of homemade jams and the location is quiet and peaceful but just 5 mins walk to the village. Jackie and Louis are great hosts and very happy to help you improve your french! It's a wonderful place to relax and we'll be back again

Domaine Majastre Stay at Domaine Majastre if you like: big ranches, truffles, sparkling pools, French folks, truffles, puppies, great food, stunning lake and truffles. The staff are charming and accommodating, but speak almost no English. Like in Colorado, the ranch hands tolerate you. They hunt truffles with ducks and dogs, and you will eat your fill and then some. No wifi, but that’s a feature.

In the heart ogf Provence, ideally situated between the Meditarranean sea, vineyards and countryside, Christine and Alain have completely renovated and refurnished this ancient coach house built in 1630 used br Armand Jean de Plessis, Cardinal-duke of Richelieu, Minister to Louis XIII. Hotel La Calèche has 18 comfortable, sound-proofed rooms accomadating between 1 and 4 persons, all fully equiped with an unlimited free internet access.
Been many times over the years regular visits. Has bee refurbished a little and menu changes. Quite an historic inn. Last visit we had lamb shanks which were Brest BUT served with a huge block of polenta so we did I not enjoy it really. Staff as usual were great.

With my husband we stayed all week in Domaine de la Chapelle, it was super relaxing and interesting experience. Provence style home and breakfast, rooms are new, pool super big, sauna as well. Lorgues centre you can reach walking distance 10 min, cute restaurants around. They accept dogs so we brought ours, big gardens around to run. Highly recommend ??
