Room with a View is a beautiful colonial-style house, with a veranda overlooking the Port Vila harbour. It is one of the most recognizable & well known guesthouses in town. We are offering self-contained units, including kitchen, private bathroom, ceiling fans, and more. We are located along the main street of Port Vila, only a short 5-10 minute walk to the town center.
Stayed in the Comfort Double Room on the 2nd level. The room is pretty clean and comfortable and came with a mini kitchen where one can cook and ensuite bathroom. There is also simple breakfast provided out the front at the common balcony which accessible to all guests and there is some ocean view from the balcony. The accommodation is located approx. 5 to 10 mins' walk to the centre where there's quite a lot of dinning option to choose from and also where there is a pretty big local market. The staff and host are friendly and will help with hailing really cheap local mini bus to the airport if required. Overall, a quiet and nice place to stay.

The taxi driver was waiting with a sign at the arrivals area. Simplified arrival after dark since the hotel is on a road not shown in popular map apps. Initial impression seemed like the room was untidy and run down. Wrong. The next morning we discovered what a really nice apartment it was. Building is a bit old, but the kitchen was really well equipped with good pans, useful utensils, rice cooker. Really clean sturdy shelves allowed us to keep track of our stuff. Amazingly peaceful location. 15 min walk to big grocery store, 20 min more and we arrived at Central Market. The wireless broadband internet might be improved by better router location. We opted for a DigiCel SIM card. No hot water but during the hot days, the cold water is refreshing. Too many free range roosters up early in the neighborhood. Functional fans instead of AirCon. No hot water, but lots of hot weather.

We’re located in the centre of Luganville, and housing the newest Chinese restaurant in town. The restaurant offers sweeping view of the town and the bay. Most rooms offer views of greenery, and peeks onto the hotel pool, at 25m long. Our surroundings provide a serene feeling with most convenient location in town
Modern, clean hotel. Handy, central location.Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Lovely staff but the hotel seemed understaffed and "things took a long time to happen". Food extremely limited and breakfast buffet food kept running out, giving limited choice. No room phone. No remote for TV. Aircon noisy and broke down for 24 hours.

Close to town, lots of water activities in the sea and the pool. Great restaurant with variety of food. Rooms not cramped together. Lots of different places to relax. Our family room was a bit small for 5 of us (2 adults, 3 teenagers) so will get 2 rooms next visit (or another option). Hotel, restaurant, housekeeping and maintenance staff were excellent and very helpful. Excellent value for money.

I have been to Matevulu a few times in 2021 and 2022, and keep returning, as it is an amazing place. The location is amazing for tourists, as it has a great private beach, is within a kayak or snorkel to blue holes, and has close to restaurants at turtle bay. Yoga retreats or shorter classes with local teacher Kat are also highly recckmended. And less exciting is that it is perfect for those of us needing to return to Luganville often for work committments. Each bungalow is beautifully decorated using a selection of locally sourced handicrafts and good quality furniture, giving a very luxurious feeling while retaining the beach bungalow vibe. the communal kitchen and living is very inviting and similar in style. A special mention must go to the hosts Gaelle, Madeline and resident cat Chattouie who go above and beyond to make guests comfortable during their stay. Thank you so much I hope to return soon!

I can’t claim to have stayed at Nawori, but the owner Etienne was unbelievably helpful to us when we were stranded on Malekula and needed help. Without being asked, he took most of his afternoon to help us sort out our troubles. Which, by the way, involved having no cash and no ATM that accepted our credit cards. So he’s a terrific guy, and when in Malekula BRING CASH!

Unity Park Motel provides budget accommodation for backpackers and travellers looking for inexpensive, basic lodgings in a convenient and scenic location. We are located in the main street opposite Unity Park, just 5 minutes walk to dive operators, shops, restaurants and the local market. Marie will be happy to make your stay as enjoyable, comfortable and interesting as possible.
I'm a budget traveller and finding genuine budget options in Vanuatu is near impossible. Unity Park Motel is centrally located across from the park and the foreshore, and seems mostly used by locals travelling for work for longer stays. It is functional and pretty basic, with fans, shared bathrooms and one power point per room. The upstairs rooms are a little better. It has a shared kitchen and a lovely garden area. It's very clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. The showers have good water pressure and were hot, but the shower rooms are cramped and there's no room to hang your towel/clothes, plus not much privacy as they're directly opposite the men's toilets with the door wide open! On arrival my first day they let the previous guests do a late check out (even though I arrived at 7:30am!) so I had to wait till late afternoon to move to my room. But they let me rest in a (better) room upstairs till then. The second time I came (again quite early) the guy forgot to note my reservation so when I came back to check in no room was ready again. Apart from these slight hiccups, at 2400VT for a single person, it's one of the cheapest option and was a good option for my stay in the area. I wasn't keen to pay 8000VT for a dorm bed elsewhere, so Unity Park Motel would be my choice again.

La Maison Bleue is a beautiful 4 bedroom bed and breakfast in a tranquil setting with fantastic views over Port Vila bay. Full kitchen, lounge, balcony all available for guest use. The centre of Port Vila town is an easy 5 minute walk away. Your host, Francoise who speaks fluent French and English, has been living in the pacific for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge of Vanuatu.
Well, where can I start? Travelled to Port Vila for 5 nights on business and stayed with Françoise (owner) at Le Maison Bleue. From when I arrived, to when I left, I was treated like royalty. Françoise was always at hand to answer any questions or give some advice on some things to do during downtime and managed to achieve all of this without being too overbearing and giving her guests some privacy. Rooms are well appointed, with a large wardrobe, good sized desk and comfortable bed with a ceiling fan. Wi-fi is also included...The views from the terrace are amazing. Grab a bottle of wine, and sit on the balcony with a takeaway from across the road (The Lookout - Thai) and watch the sunset on the deck chairs. What an experience. Breakfast was amazing, with a variety of breads, butters and spreads, with the most amazing, plump raspberries, fresh from the market. All your typical cereals, fruit juice and tea and coffee. Watched a cruise ship sail into port while eating breakfast. Thank you Françoise for all of your help and hospitality. I will be back again, and would recommend it to anyone!

Emma's place is very relaxing and accommodating. I liked the solar-powered lights and USB ports for charging a phone attached to each individual bungalow, and the fact they use ground water for the showers and laundry and rain water for drinking. It's eco-friendly out of necessity and I loved that. I snorkelled their amazing reef 3 times a day, full of plinths, caves and sandy gutters with tonnes of fish and best coral I've seen since the Solomon Islands years ago. I'll be coming back one day I hope.

We had a great experience staying at Ocean View Bungalows. The accommodation was clean with mosquito nets provided and the food was full of fresh seafood. It was a great place to relax at the end of a long day with unobstructed views of the stars and the ability to see the red glow above the volcano on Tanna. There was also easy access to the ocean to swim and a variety of places to relax. A great experience for those wanting some quiet time away from other tourists but if there are any items such as coffee that you can't do without its best to bring your own as the island is very remote.
