The Cappadocia region's most upscale and contemporary tourist city, Urgup has a number of lovely hotels, many built in and around centuries-old cave dwellings. The city and its surrounding area are known for their mysterious fairy chimneys, early Christian rock churches and fine vineyards. A mix of ancient and modern, Urgup is a center for traditional handmade carpets, but also has a lively nightlife. Hot air ballooning is very popular, and a fantastic way to see the area's beauty from above.

Urgup Inn Cave Hotel is at the very heart of Cappadocia, in the centre of Ürgüp. Nearby there is a open shopping centre, where you can find all kinds of souvenir and antique shops, home-made carpet and wine specialists/retailers, super markets etc.. The bus terminal is only about 100m (a few walking minutes) away from our hotel.Around Ürgüp there is numerous interesting sightseeing, such as famous fairy chimneys and other impressive geological formations, like early Christian cave churches

Although we stayed there for the a job interest, it was all pleasure and joy. Starting with breakfast which was full of refined tastes ending with grilled meats on the hotel terrace. The waiters, the hotel staff, very young and friendly with the guests. Even quality music. A chill relaxing music. But above all, the magnificent rooms, arranged on three levels, very comfortable. We had the best stay for a few nights in this beautiful cave hotel. The hotel Owner was more than accommodating, spoke good English, easy to communicate and very friendly and helpful. Anything you need, he will do his best to get the best deal for you & make sure you are well taken care of. His nephew was such a great help, too, with a lovely attitude. Both made our stay so enjoyable and memorable. The room was so cozy, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was a good variety and delicious. So glad we made this Cave Art Hotel our choice to enjoy Cappadocia and the area. I recommend it very highly.

My Girlfriend and I took a quick trip to Kapadokya while visiting Turkey and we are so lucky that a friend recommended this place. Located up a local street with no other hotels in the immediate area, the property itself is stunning. It is an old house/chapel that was restored by the couple who owns it and they did a truly incredible job. We stayed in one of the lower rooms which was a cave room. Everything from the fixtures to the bedding, bathing products and water that was given to us daily were well thought out and perfect. The breakfast each morning consisted of fresh cheeses, breads, fruits, vegetables, and an array of jams that were made at the hotel. The view from the terrace where breakfast was served was like a movie set. On top of everything, the owners/hosts were great people. Their passion for what they do was evident and they even put together a two day hurry-up tour for us and hired a driver to take us around. We saw so much in two days and can’t wait to go back and stay for longer next time. When we do we will definitely stay here!

The Mansion known as "Asmali Konak" for years is one of the traditional old Greek Houses in fact. Now, it is in service as a hotel named "Old Greek House". The house has built in 1887, then in 1924; it was given to a family of Salonica as a result of the agreement of the commission for the settlement of the exchange immigrants. In 1938, the house was bought for 10 Turkish Liras by ancestor of Ozturks family, who came to the city as a teacher at that time. Ozturks Family has been lived here until 1992. As of 1992, the house has been designed as a hotel. Now, the hotel attracts attention of customers and visitors by its old traditional style and furniture. In addition, an Italian film "Dervish and his Death" (Dervis ve Olumu) was filmed in that place. Also, Turkey's most popular TV channel is still taking one of its films, "Asmali Konak" in this mansion. OLD GREEK HOUSE (OZTURK HOTEL). Hotel Capacity: 13 Rooms, 32 Beds. Rooms with pleasent view. My husband and I had originally planned to stay three nights and added on two more because we were so enjoying our time at the Old Greek House, a small family run hotel and destination restaurant. The 200+ year old house is gorgeous, and furnished with lovely antiques; it has a view patio as well as inside sitting areas. Our room was comfortable and clean. The included breakfasts were amazing, as were the five dinners we ate there. And the owners, Suleyman and Ermine Ozturk, are gracious and helpful, with Suleyman, his son, and nephew providing driving and guiding services as well. We highly recommend this hotel! We stayed in the “upstairs kitchen room” whose website description does not do it justice. It is actually two separate rooms connected with a door; one has a queen bed and bathroom, and the other two twin beds; it would be ideal for a family, or just two people who like an extra room for the early riser/late worker/tv watcher. The outdoor patio is just down a short hall and a pleasant place to sit and work or not.

A beautifully restored Greek House at the top of the Village of Mustafapasa, Turkey. Drink tea or famous locally grown wine while sitting on one of the lovely high terraces overlooking the village and surrounding hillsides. Eat and be entertained at the Old Greek House, famous for its authentic Turkish food, served in the same setting for over 300 years. All rooms furnished in the ancient Greek/Turkish style include private, modern bathrooms.
I stayed here as part of a tour group of 25+. The rooms are fine albeit a little dank (but they are "cave" rooms so that it is to be expected) and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff is friendly. My main complaint is that I did not have sustained reliable wifi during my three night stay. If that matters to you, you may want to stay elsewhere.

Monte Cappa Cave House is situated in a beautifully restored historical building made of stone masonry. It offers a terrace with valley and mountain views, courtyard, and authentic stone arch and cave carved rooms. These rooms are decorated giving absolute priority to comfort, history and aesthetics. The stone house is fastidiously renovated staying loyal to the initial state of the structure and they all feature a unique design and different colour schemes. At Monte Cappa you can spend hours listening to the chirping birds and savor Cappadocia beyond comparison from the terrace overlooking Dereköyler Valley and surrounding mountains.Monte Cappa Cave House serves a rich breakfast with delicious fruit jams and fresh eggs in the morning. For dinner, it offers special menus with local tastes.
There are no words on how amazing this place is! We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was just stunning. The views, rooms, breakfast and the staff were very friendly. They always went above and beyond. Yasemin and Tubah became friends by the end of our stay. Breakfast was on the roof terrace was showed off the beautiful views and it was lovely coming back from the evening and sitting up on the roof with a beer taking it all in. If you have a car, I would 100% recommend you stay at Monte cappa

Sinasos Palace is inviting you to recall this remarkable past in the middle of Anatolia...Sinasos Palace was in ruins when we first met; many cave dwellings and a small chapel... It was hard to start... Finally we were so encouraged to erect the ruins into our dream palace. The Project was designed in 2008, and the restoration began in 2012. So lucky we were to work with a great team of stonemasons who tirelessly and efficiently work for us.At Beginning of 2013, we opened our Gates to our guests...Each room tastefully decorated with belongings to our past...Beautiful linens, pillow covers, laces and embroideries taken out of our grandma's dowries embellishing our rooms...With 6 Suite Rooms and 3 Deluxe rooms, Indoor & outdoor Dining rooms, Lounge, library, and a Terrace with an amazing view of Sinasos is awating you for a dream stay at Sinasos Palace. Our 18 rooms, a conference room and a Spa center will be serving you very soon.Sinasos Palace is locating in Mustafapasa village,5 km North of Urgup town. This IS the best hotel you will find in Urgup. Start with the location. Settled on a hill with a gorgeous view. Smaller hotel with fewer rooms, each one lovely and unique. Rooftop, panoramic restaurant/breakfast order with made to order eggs and great mezze selections. Love the fireplace nook for coffee in the A.M. Quick few mins walk down the hill to Urgup. All the activities/tours will come get you from this hotel or Mr. Emin the owner is wonderfully helpful and accommodating to figure out any logistics needs. And he asks your travel itinerary in case you've overlooked something you'll need. Pick up from airport was seamless, and bus to Adana was quick and simple. Our room was GORGEOUS with a HUGE bathroom. Wifi perfect, just everything you needed and more at this hotel. The staff is the shining keystone of the experience. Thank you to Mr. Emin and team for the loveliest stay!!!
