Reviewed By wamfaroukHotel location is very good, just 5 or 6 minutes from meydan, reception stuff was ok, breakfast was average, while the stuff in restaurant can’t understand english, room cleanliness was very good, while room furniture and bed sheet was old and worn out, wifi was very great, the lift was old and very slow when there’s crowded.

The Sweet Home Suite hotel is 1km from Trabzon airport with the best location. Our rooms have a living room and kitchen. Wireless WiFi and parking are available in the entire building. 3 km to city center, 1.2 km to Forum AVM, 3 km to Cevahir outlet. The entire resort has sea views. Our establishment has a restaurant, a café and two meeting rooms. In our facility with children's playground, you can have a pleasant time in our sea view café.

Mr. Abu Ahmed is an amaizing man, always there, nice words, smile and arraingment. The staff, Zainab, Auguz, and others are very helpfull. Need more lifts, but the breakfast menu is very good.

Well Located
Reviewed By Jane EThe Grand Vuslat looks like a fairly standard 3-4 star hotel and indeed it is. Nothing fancy but solid in most aspects. I stayed 2 nights while visiting Trabzon in late July. Firstly, the hotel is well positioned down a narrow passage close to Ataturk Alani giving easy access to restaurants and transport. My room was clean and tidy with a king-size bed, small table and 2 chairs and a built in desk unit along one wall. There was a kettle and tea/coffee making bits and an empty mini fridge, although interestingly the price list for minibar items was still sitting on the desk. The window which opened up as either a window or a door looked out on a car park behind and eventually through to the Black Sea in the distance. The bathroom was large with a good size shower enclosure and nicely decorated with marble-effect tiles. The room wasn't serviced during my stay but this is probably a coronavirus procedure rather than what occurs under normal circumstances. The wifi was a bit unreliable – mostly okay but with the occasional slow down/freeze for no apparent reason. My only real complaint concerns sub-standard sound proofing between rooms. When my neighbour made a lengthy and loud telephone call she may as well have been in my room but fortunately it ended around 10PM and no more was heard that night. I saw only one other guest apart from her so it is likely that the hotel was just about empty meaning the lack of noise dampening was not an issue. However, I suspect it may be in busier times. A nicely presented, individual Turkish breakfast was served in an indoor/outdoor restaurant on the ground floor where I was the only guest eating at the time. The daytime receptionist spoke some English and he and the other front of house staff were helpful arranging a tour to Sumela Monastery at short notice and calling a cab to get me back to the airport early in the morning. Overall, the Grand Vuslat is a reasonable choice for a downtown hotel but bedroom noise could be an issue.

The rooms are clean and well-lit and the service from staff not bad. The main disappointment was the breakfast. Very limited options, and no coffee! Overall, not a bad option when staying in Trabzon - but perhaps go out for coffee!
