Reviewed By T9089UBpeterlThis is a beautiful historical home next to the cathedral in central Toledo with stunning Islamic architecture (beautiful arches and doors on a central courtyard). The welcome was warm and so helpful—Asun, the owner, gave us excellent recommendations for walks and food. The breakfast host was warm and generous and the food was great and other staff warm and friendly, too. We loved it here and wished we’d had more than one night!

Reviewed By 50Continental_DriftWe stayed for three nights at Antidoto. The location is great for seeing the city. We were met by a staff member so we didn't have to manage the process of entering and obtaining a key. The building is a bit tricky to find. As advertised it is not your typical hotel -- some things to be aware of in case you might be uncomfortable -- there is a clear glass door on the toilet room and no door on the shower room. During our stay, there was a problem with wifi access, but, I believe it was working fine when we left.

Reviewed By 722egilgHostal Centro is really in the center of it all in Toledo, situated next to Plaza Zocodover, which could have been a problem if there weren't sound proof sliding doors towards the square. But there are! The sound blocking between the rooms aren't that good, though. Nice and friendly staff, spacious rooms and beds. All in all, we were very happy with our stay!

Reviewed By Roimakay¡¡ VERGONZOSO !! Llegamos al Hostal, dejamos el equipaje y fuimos a dar un paseo. Al llegar estabamos en la habitación y empiezan a aparecer cucarachas por varios sitios. Avisamos al numero de telefono del Hostal, nos piden fotos de las cucarachas y les decimos que tenemos un recien nacido y que asi no podemos permanecer en la habitación. No nos vuelven a contestar y tenemos que marcharnos a las 22h sin solución ni contestación. Despues de volvernos para casa (600km) me encuentro un mensaje donde me advertia de que no nos habiamos presentado en el lugar y cancelaron la reserva con motivos que son mentira para cobrar la penalización y evitar una reseña negativa. Trato vomitivo.

Reviewed By Maria ROverall nice Hotel. Great location. Very good breakfast for 8 Euros. Shower door needs repair. No air conditioning because of the winter weather, although the temperatures were in the high 80s. I was in the 1st floor and couldn't open the windows because of the mold and mildew. I caught allergies, so I had to close the window. We were in a sealed hot and humid room. This is a big problem.

Reviewed By Traveler01671755760Bueno ante todo decir que es un hotel pequeño pero como dice el refrán los perfumes buenos en tarros pequeños, quiero puntuar mucho el buen trato de Juan una bella persona muy atento en todo no nos falto de nada tanto el personal de recepción igualmente estupendo todo muy limpio y acogedor el sitio espectacular recomiendo este hotel 100x100 el trato recibido es lo mejor como en casa gracias a Juan y Rafa gracias volveremos....

The tone is set the moment you walk through the doors into a comfortable lobby adorned with fresh flowers. The service in the hotel is second to none. An impressive combination of easy going but always polite charm personality and superb efficiency. The rooms are tasteful, some in an opulent style, most with an elegant look using restful colours and fabrics. Bedrooms in many different designs display an astonishing attention to detail. Nothings is too much trouble here and the staff are slick and convivial from the receptionist who first greets you on your arrival to the waitresses and waiters who serve you.

Most rooms at Cigarral de las Mercedes include a balcony overlooking the meticulously cared for grounds, a luxurious rain shower, and extremely comfortable and large beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the meals were bountiful and the event/wedding venue was simply jaw-dropping. Every corner you turn at Cigarral de las Mercedes is more beautiful than the last. Hard to imagine such a mesmerizing and dreamy location exists. Would whole heartedly recommend a stay and event here. Can’t say enough positive things!

The railway station is right opposite as is the bus stop which takes you into the centre of town if you don't want to walk! The rooms are good for the price you pay. The staff are also really friendly .

Fantastic apartment hotel in the centre of old Toledo
Reviewed By BandMKA spacious and well equipped apartment styled accommodation right in the centre of the old town. It was perfect for us, from the generous living space, the kitchen area, the views over the town, - an even more spectacular view can be seen from the roof top bar area-the comfortable bed to the lovely crisp cotton sheets. We took the bed and breakfast option. The breakfast was excellent, with good quality food. The service was good too. We are looking forward to dinner in the Adolfo restaurant.
