We have stayed at Niriides for the last two years with terrific owners Georgio, Lizetta and family and were a little apprehensive this year staying at Niriides with new owners. We didn't need to have been. The hotel has been significally landscapped with lots of plants, water features, new bar and sunlounging areas, all of which in good taste. The staff were excellent , friendly and very responsive and always wanting to please. Although there were few guests ( due to the coronavirus which they handled extremely well) the ambiance was again lovely with the family always being present sharing the evenings. The menu was limited ,again due to the virus, but on request in the mornings the chef would cook meals of your choice which were excellent. The hotel is in a perfect location overlooking the sea and terrific for an early morning swim (a minutes walk). All in all a wonderful stay again and well done and thankyou to Niriides and its new staff. We highly recommend Niriides and we will be back next year.

Symi Nautilus Luxury Suites is located in one of the most beautiful and picturesque islands of the Dodecanese complex, Symi. Our hotel is located in “Miloi”, “Chorio” (Ano Chora), 2 km from the island’s harbour. The scenic view of the mountain, the plain, the Chorio area, as well as the sea off the “Pedi” bay (2km) from the sun-drenched terraces and room balconies gives off an air of tranquility.
Started out with a prompt pickup as we exited the ferry boat by the owner, Evangelia. (You just need to send her a message letting her know when you arrive.) And this is a super important benefit because, unbeknownst to Google Maps, the hotel sits atop a mountain and the port is at the bottom of a cliff. So walking is really not an option with luggage and there was seemingly only one taxi operational on the island. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. Built around a shell theme (the proprietor’s father-in-law has a massive, world class collection, which is displayed throughout the inn) the hotel is a jewel. The room was well-appointed with a kitchenette and a nice shower. The ceiling even had been tastefully hand-painted by Evangelia. Then she asked us to text her our breakfast desires. The next morning she made me a lovely 4 egg white omelette and my wife some of the finest poached eggs she had ever had in our voyages around the globe. This was all accompanied by fresh bread, lots of jams and spreads, fresh fruits and warm beverages of your choosing. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily with fresh towels and they even offered towels for the beach. All told, while we have stayed in MUCH more expensive hotels but never a significantly better hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and the personalized, family service provided by Evangelia, her husband Foti and her eager to please children.

Problematical toilet, extremely slow WiFi.The beach nearby is not nice, however a taxi boat was o better alternatives exist. Choose only if you have a vehicle, otherwise have to rely on bus. Polite staff.

This lovely little hotel is right on the beach. You will need beach shoes, but once in the water the sea bed is soft. There is an hourly bus service to the island capital and main port. There are two small bays, one 20 minutes and the other a half hour. The rooms have been recently modified with plenty of power sockets and a shower, no bath. The bed is comfortable, but two single beds to make a double. There is a choice of three main courses for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you would like alternatives there are restaurants along the bay with a te minute walk.

Welcome to AˑSymi Residences, a tranquil destination in Pedi cove on Symi Island, one of the most picturesque islands of the Dodecanese.
Our apartment was very modern and had every facility you could need. Sometimes Greek studios can be basic, but this one Combined the charm of Greece and good facilities. Lovely breakfast which allowed choice. We were met and taken to the port, which was appreciated. Our return ferry was cancelled so we got a lift early in the morning and breakfast in a box (much appreciated). Pedi is a small fishing village with a supermarket, cafe, taverna and local restaurant. There is a marina. We used water taxis to get to St Nicholas Bay, which is a better beach. There is an hourly bus service to Gialos, the port. It’s probably only a mile away, but it’s a hike taking 30-40 mins, with great views over the harbour. We preferred staying in Pedi and visiting Gialos, which gets busy in the daytime with day visitors from Rhodes.

A listed monument sensitively converted to provide exclusive accommodation as a Boutique Hotel which has recently been expanded into a neighbouring Mansion House. Just ten charming rooms and suites. Daily champagne breakfast, air-conditioning, power showers, luxury bed linen, honesty bar and stunning harbour views from a private terrace. Dinner available to guests utilising fresh local ingredients.
Having experienced a week in Symi and the Old Markets in 2017 we knew we would be back and we did for 2 weeks in September Sadly the owner, Andrew, was in hospital London but thankfully well on the way to recovery. We were met of the ferry by his young nephew Ben, who was an exceptional host throughout our stay. Charming, comfortable and clean rooms, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast on the terrace with a view looking down onto Symi harbour which converted into an honestly bar in the evening.
