Mr. Wayan, the Hotel Manager was very hands on taking care of the guests. He and his son Wisno were both helpful, accommodating and flexible. Our family vacation was well spent with their help for us to see the best of Bali.

I stayed here with my sister and her boyfriend a few months ago. We were about to leave to go to a monkey place, when I suggested we put our wallets in the safe. They said it would be fine, so we didn't. That was a mistake. However, we did not think that one of the staff would go into the room and STEAL OVER $2000 USD from us. When we called to talk to them about what happened, there was no sense of urgency. Never got our money back of course. When you're there, they act all nice, but they're really not. They're just pretending so you'd never expect them to do such a thing. I highly suggest you don't stay here. Not only because of that, but also because you can hear everything from inside the rooms making it hard to fall asleep. I bet that even if we did put our wallets in the safe, they'd find a way to get in. I used to work at a hotel and there's a universal code for each type of safe.

We originally booked 2 bedrooms villa 2.5 years ago and then Covid happened so we had to postpone as they won’t allow to cancel, which was a bit disappointing. Anyway, 2.5 years later we finally made it Bali and were really looking forward to staying at the legend khayangan as all the pictures on travel websites looked amazing. But we were very disappointed. The villa was spacious with nice upstairs area and bedrooms. Outside was nice as well. When we went to our villa the nearby fields started to burn rice cuttings and the smoke was everywhere, it was unbearable to breath. I understand it’s not hotels fault and we had to leave our suitcases and go the town as we could not stay there. On our return the smoke cleared and we started to unpack. We went to bedrooms and omg! the stink of cigarettes in both bedrooms was horrible, although they ask people not to smoke. I have an asthma and I was concerned how am I gonna sleep in this conditions. We tried to air it but nothing worked. Then we started to look around and there were things broken, dirty etc. we went on decking outside and the floors were all rotten. My feet went through one of the plagues and I was lucky not to scratch my legs as metal nails were sticking out everywhere. It was a big concern for me as we had our 8yo son with us. I’ve emailed reservation team about all the issues and 30min later the receptionist Putu came to have a look. We were moved to another villa (bare in mind it was after 9pm already and we were very tired). There were no cigarette smell in the bedrooms, which was ok for us. Putu said that the pool wasn’t ready at this villa and someone will come in the morning to clean it for us. So we quickly moved everything and went to bed. When we woke up we started to unpack and look around. Although this villa was a bit better, there were still issues with decking, sun lounger broken, curtains dirty, sink blocked, no microwave compare to last villa which did have it, one tv in the bedroom had few lines in the screen, bedding and towels looked grey etc. but we were still waiting for someone to come and clean the pool as it looked dirty, water wasn’t clear at all. Then I saw a man just throwing chlorine granules into the pool and that it! That was cleaning! We were told not to use a pool until the next day, but they did offer us to us a pool at previous villa, which we did. Anyway, we started using a pool next day. However, it still didn’t look right and our son had itchy skin after using it, which was a concern ones again. Anyway, we stayed there for 4 nights and I could not wait to get out. We had free breakfast( which we were provided with every day), free afternoon tea and few other inclusions like free breakfast in the pool, gift and minibar in our booking, which most of these we didn’t get and were not offered. Restaurant wasn’t opened and we had to get a taxi to the town every day to get something to eat as that area has absolutely nothing around. One positive I can say is that Putu and another guy who works there were very nice and polite. They have tried their best to accommodate us, but it’s management of this company who do not care about their customers. I’ve emailed them after our stay with all the concerns and reply was absolutely shocking, they did not care about anything apart from just getting your money. They put the rates up for all the tourists, but let other people stay there for less than half of what we paid. Awful experience, would not recommend to anyone!

Uma Budhas is a perfect hideaway for those who want to be close to Ubud and also want to enjoy the rural live between the rice fields. The villa we stayed in is spacious and just recently upgraded with new curtains and coffee and tea facilities. Also everything is freshly paint. The owner, Wayan, is continually busy making the property better. For the 5th time in 3 years we call this place our home! Wayan, his wife and their family are very kind and their hospitality is outstanding. For breakfast they serve omelette, banana pancakes and fresh fruit with a cup of Bali coffee. Sometimes we are surprised with nasi or mie goreng. With a scooter it takes you 20 minutes to the centre of Ubud. After the hustle of the city Uma Budhas is a great place to relax, to take a dip in the swimming pool or just sit and watch the life outside the accommodation. We definitely will come back again!

Set in Ketewel, 1.9 km from Padang Galak Beach, Graha Madesimon has a number of amenities including free bikes, a shared lounge, a garden and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and ticket service for guests.
We stayed with my boyfriend 4 nights at graha madesimon. The people are absolutely lovely and caring, the nasi goreng for breakfast was good and the premises where beautiful. The room was big and beautiful, we had some problems with the AC and the WiFi but they fixed it. Maybe the only problem was the dog barking at night... and the rent scooter was a bit expensive (100000rp a day and in town it’s 50000rp). But I definitely recommend this villa!

Mooie, nette kamers. Rustig gelegen, alleen beetje afgelegen van het centrum van Ubud. Vriendelijk personeel. Zwembad bij het hotel, zag er netjes uit. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Wifi op de kamer was goed.

A modern, supremely stylish three-bedroomed villa set in the tranquil fishing village of Ketewel on Bali's pristine south-east coast, just 100 metres from an exotic black-sand beach. Highlights include swimming pool, jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor tropical living, elegant bedrooms and dedicated professional staff, all combining to create a classy, comfortable coastal hideaway. When combined with six-bedroomed Villa Bayu Gita, the two properties can accommodate a total of 18 people, ideal for groups and events.
We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too hard. 12 people stayed in comfort and every room was amazing. Some reviews I read before leaving made comment on the noise of the waves crashing on the break wall, however we liked it . Would highly recommend this celebrity style place to stay.
