Pat'ta Hoiri Hotel is a small boutique hotel, an intimate and friendly atmosphere with a modern design and care. We are located in the historic center of San Pedro de Atacama, in a privileged place where tranquility is mixed, the mystique of the environment, art and crafts. You will find a relaxed atmosphere where you will be considered a guest.
I wasn't a hotel guest but the receptionist, Felipe, went above and beyond what I needed. I was alone and lost with no phone, no memory of my hotel name or location and feeling desperate. Felipe calmed me and googled hotels in the area until I recognized mine. He then called a cab and I was on my way feeling extremely grateful for his help.

Located 300 metres from San Pedro bus station and 1 km from the city centre and Archeological Museum, Hostal Desert offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast in San Pedro de Atacama. Providing a tranquil environment, the rooms in Hostal Desert feature private bathrooms. Hostal Desert is 120 km from Calama airport.
Located rather near the bus station, but the other side of the town centre, in a quiet street. On the corner there is a mini market, handy as one can store food and drink in the fridge of the kitchen area that is free to use. There is a nice patio, partially covered with some tables. There is good wifi both in the rooms and the patio. The rooms are basic, but clean and decently spacious. If leaving early, which we did every day we were there, there is a packed breakfast waiting for you, with some juice, a piece of fruit, some bread and granola-type bar. The main plus point is the owner, who is very helpful.

Just a 13-minute walk from Caracoles Street, Hostel Siete Colores offers accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here features a private bathroom with a hairdryer. A daily breakfast is included. At Hostel Siete Colores guests will find a terrace and a shared kitchen. Other facilities offered at the property include a tour desk and luggage storage.
Pros: cleanliness of the place in general, willingness and goodwill of the manager: Gustavo, good breakfast -if possible I would add some fruit-, very quiet area, with several mini-markets around, proximity to downtown (not so far and not so close, although it is a bit annoying to get there after spending the whole afternoon on a tour). Cons: WiFi signal, very low, lack of clarity regarding the use of the kitchen (it appears with the availability of use in Booking, I was not the only one who had "problems" with this. Respect the check-out time, I was asked to leave the room an hour earlier. I think it is a lot of work for one person to manage the place and they need someone who speaks English. We arrived early on Friday 12-09-21 at 11:40 am, we spent about five minutes approx. waiting for the door to be opened. Don Gustavo greeted us, we left our bags at reception, since the room was not ready (check-in is at 14:00 HRS.) We went to walk around the village which is a 7 min walk from the main street "Caracoles"... I had coordinated everything with the owner of the hostel - Ignacio- when I talked to him, he explained to me everything about how the hostel worked (it was all very good: daily cleaning of the room -which it was not- and the use of the kitchen which was not possible either, these were the low points of the stay plus the WiFi network which was crappy). Despite these inconveniences, Gustavo was attentive and facilitated us as much as he could.., in short, our stay was pleasant and I would recommend and return to this place.

Located 10 minutes from town offer available to our passengers singles , double, single, double , triple and quadruple rooms, all with private bathroom, hot / cold water 24 hrs. , Stove , fridge, desk , furthermore we open two living rooms with satellite television, our location , we promise absolute peace of mind when resting
Pros: -Spacious room that was impeccably clean. -Fridge in room -Friendly staff -No AC not necessary as cool during the day and sufficiently warm (with blanket provided) at night. Of note, we were there during the month of March. Cons: -Wi-fi in the reception area but no Wi-Fi in the room -Hot water was spotty. If you ran the shower long enough, you would usually get hot water...but one hates to waste water, especially in the desert. -Breakfast was lackluster and did not change from day to day (rolls, jam, butter, cereal, powdered milk, ham, cheese, one fruit). One day they ran out of food. Although, it seems that breakfasts at hotels in San Pedro are generally not great. Other: -Staff don't speak much English but if you know a little Spanish, you will be fine. -Staff very nice but reception was not always staffed and it could be a nuisance to track someone down. -Parking is outside during the day. At night, they recommend bringing the car inside the compound given the dust at night. If staff was not around, it was a pain to find someone to unlock the parking area to bring the car in/out. -There is a small pool but we only used it once for about 10 minutes as whatever chemicals they use to treat the water caused the eyes to burn. -No hairdryer or Kleenex in the room. If you anticipate needing either, bring your own. -Slightly out outside of town. Not an issue for us as we had a car. Giving it 3 stars due to the hot water issue, no wi-fi in room, and difficulty tracking down staff at times. If none of these elements are important to you, then you will be happy here.

I was there for 2 days. The staff was so nice with me! The shower is hot, and the kitchen is always clean. I loved the cats! The location is good too. The bed was not the most comfortable one I had ever seen, and the bedroom was small for 5 beds. The lokers were not big enough, so everything was on the floor. For me, was very nice staying there for two days, and the price was good for the conditions, since I know there are not so many cheap hostels with hot water and nice beds in Atacama.

The bedroom was not good, we had problems with the hot water - essencial in Atacama - but the responsible lady helped us. Somethimes she wasn't in a good mood. The wi fi was working properly. Sometimes we had to leave the hostel very early and she used leave some food for breakfast, this was very kind. She also lent us towels to take to Bolívia.

It is a rustic hotel with some charm and is family-run. We spent a couple of nights there. They are well adapted to tours and they prepare you a picnic if you do not have breakfast with them due to how early some tours start. Still, it is overpriced (USD75 per night) for what it offers. Location is not bad but not great either.

A great 10 room hostel close to main area. The bed was comfortable and all the coat hangers and hooks were great. The included breakfast included juice, yoghurt, cereal, bread, meat and cheese, tea and coffee. Washing was available at a cheap rate. The staff, who spoke Spanish were helpful and friendly. I had a great stay at what is considered a reasonable price in this remote location and over Christmas. There is a basic kitchen, making it easy to self catering and the whole place was clean and pleasant. A few maintenance problems did not detract from a great stay in a lovely little hostel.
