Please be clear, this is a riad in Sale. From a tourist perspective, Sale really doesn't have anything going on except this riad. However, it's an easy tram ride over to Rabat and staying in this riad was lovely! Amina is an extremely friendly and sweet hostess! She speaks no English, we speak no Arabic, Berber or French but we were warmly welcomed and loved our time there. Our room was just fine and we spent some nice evening time out on the rooftop patio. We had a very early morning flight out of Rabat but Amina made sure we had breakfast at 5:30 am! She arranged a taxi to the airport for us and helped us lug our heavy bags around. Thank you Amina for your warmth and very genuine Moroccan hospitality! If you want to experience a bit of real Morocco, I highly recommend this riad!

But also the Hassan Tower, emblem of Rabat and the famous Kasbah Oudayas, bordered by the River Bouregreg. We dispose of two double rooms, two junior suites and two deluxe suites. You will apreciate the quietness of the quarter.Breakfasts are included. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, broadband internet connection and satellite television. A ten minutes from Rabat airport. Restaurant, Hammam, Solarium.
We found Sale to be very peaceful and enjoyed Rabat's music, galleries, book stores, gardens, tramways, promenades, sunsets and beaches. Riad a la Belle Etoile has a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, cityscape and kasbah and host/proprietor Stephane is a riot. Our stay in Rabat included a day at a private beach which he easily arranged. Everything was smooth, easy and enjoyable (and fun). We will surely be back---with thanks to Stephane and co. ~John and Gabrielle

We stayed 3 nights here at this Riad. We were very comfortable. Great hospitality from all staff. Traditional breakfast each morning on the roof terrace. We also enjoyed a traditional Moroccan dinner made by the staff. Good wifi and water pressure. Not many restaurants close to the riad however you can eat before coming home or have the staff prepare your meal. The riad is in sale which is across the water from Rabat, it is serviced by an easy and cheap tram ride from Rabat

This is an ideal resort and a peace haven for those people seeking real countryside fresh air and quietness. The owner Mr Filal and his gorgeous wife a very friendly people and real connoisseurs . The Riad has a commanding panoramic deep view of outstretched countryside. The food there is something not to miss! Why? Simply because most of the ingrdients used are organic and grown on the farm where the Riad is located. The pomgranate breakfast starter juice and the cool fresh water scented with organic lemon and mint are next level.! I highly recommend this place. Try it and you'll see for yourselves!

We booked this Riad to be closer to the airport and because they said they offered airport transfers. It was not and although they did call a driver for us, he wasn’t sure how to get to the airport and asked for more than the agreed-upon price upon arrival. When we arrived at the Riad, we weren’t even offered tea! Dogs barked all night long and when they paused, the engines of the speeding mopeds kept us awake. We were informed that we would not be offered breakfast (presumably due to our early departure but nonetheless, a couple of yogurts could have been left for us --). The night before an international flight – none of this was welcome. The room was, however, large and clean.

This certainly is a beautiful authentic riad but to get to it you have to walk through what seems the worst part of Salé, muddy streets, strange looking people, narrow and smelly allies with bits where it seems people have just come and tipped their rubbish or emptied their garbage cans. I'm sorry but I wouldn't think of walking through here after dark, it doesn't matter how nice the riad is. We arrived and a lovely man gave us tea and biscuits, then disappeared through one of the doorways and left us sitting there. I found other people hiding away in a room, we were shown a room we didn't like and which didn't look and smell like it was ready for us. This is what made us decide to just leave and find a hotel somewhere in Rabat.

We had a great stay in Riad Dar Baddi. The Riad was clean and spacious and had a great view from the roof terrace. It is located in a quiet street in Salé in an area which feels very safe. Nabil was a helpful host and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay including a lovely large breakfast. We were given tips on Rabat and using the tram and even taken on a tour of the Rabat Medina which was an unexpected treat. Everyone was very welcoming and provided an enjoyable stay, we would highly recommend staying at Riad Dar Baddi.

Our quadruple room was $100. Good AC. Perfectly adequate beds. Steep narrow stairs. Wonderful terrace!! Great panoramic view of Fez. Good location - right outside the medina. Good breakfast. ISHAM (not sure of spelling) was a young man who checked us in and served us breakfast today. Very friendly and outgoing. He went above and beyond today for us -- the King of Morocco was visiting Fez today, which meant some of the streets were closed. Which meant that taxis could not get to anywhere near this Riad. He was off work, sitting at a cafe with a friend, when he saw us walking back to the riad -- he realized the problem, he went to the riad with us, helped us carry our bag about 1 mile to the outer city gate where the barricade started, and helped us get a car to get to the train station. Thank you Isham!!
