Nice, old hotel and clean. Four stories, rooms on the 4th floor have air conditioning but not on 2nd or 3rd. No elevator, no screens on windows. As the hotel has no AC, quite a few flies buzzing around. Breakfast is extra, 15 RON, which is very good. Most of the time, the restaurant is not open for dinner - not enough customers. Good location, nice staff, very clean. Across the street from a large park good for children. Very good wifi.

Just like the name suggests, everything was absolutely brilliant! We organized a small family baptism party for our daughter and the entire staff was very professional, welcoming and accommodating. The food prepared by the restaurant was amazing and completely up to par with other similar hotels in the same class from western Europe. Truly impressed by the fact that we only informed them of our party wishes and trusted them completely with the organization of the event. We did not have to maintain constant communication and there was minimal back-and-forth via e-mail. We highly recommend Brilliant Plaza for your lodging, restaurant and event needs.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It's a family run business. The rooms are ok, in accordance with the relatively small price, don't expect anything fancy. The hosts were very kind and gave us some recommendations. Everyone seemed to be Hungarian ethnics however they spoke good Romanian so, except for one younger lady at the bar (confusion about what we want to eat..), we had no misunderstandings regarding various requests. It's a good place for kids, with toys and cats in addition to the nice surroundings. The place is on a hill with a great view of the Cehu Silvaniei town. There are hills , small orchards and vineyards all around and a forest on one side, really superb views. The town is small and nice, with few landmark buildings in the center. There are many different objectives in the region, so this was a quiet hub for our explorations. The food at the restaurant is cheap, home made style and decent, but they did not have some (more?..) of the dishes when we asked. The breakfast was poor in the first day and very rich in the second one. We felt the price for the breakfast was a bit too much and we were requested 50% more than the displayed fee, not clear why. Furthemore, they do not have a professional system to manage payments, hand written bills at most, and at the end of the stay a lady asked us for payment even if we had paid when checking in.

In order to avoid traveling too far to our next address, in consultation with our guide, we decided to stop at this place. Before we arrived, our guide had a conversation with the landlady who informed him, that she had places for all of us (a total of 12 people, including 6 adults and 6 children). When we arrived at the place, we noticed that there was really no one in the hotel. Just only after half an hour did a woman arrive with a small child. First of all, the clerk who did not know English wanted to insist on lodging us in 6 rooms.I explained him that we can't allow little children to sleep alone in the rooms. He decided to call the owner but unfortunately, when she came, without speaking and understanding us, she treated us horribly . At some point suddenly decided to enter her car and leave us without giving us any solution. After series of talks including talks between the staff member and landlady, finally arranged for us 4 rooms as requested. Since we wanted to eat something, we went to hotel's restaurant. Since most of my family and children did not speak the Romanian language, we asked the Menu as well in English. I found out that there was no match between the English and the Romanian Menu but when I showed the differences, they were surprised. No one could explain the reason for the differences, but insisted that we pay the high price what we did . We asked for a local beer as was showed in the menu but then the waiter came back and told us that he realized that they did not have it. Instead of a cappuccino they brought us a regular coffee and next to that, cream in little boxes. Finally were told that they did not have milk. In light of the many surprises, we experienced, we informed them that we decided to give up breakfast. Apparently, due to these events, the landlady was summoned again and she began to scold her staff and tried to convince us without success, did not give up our breakfast. Since we were asked to pay in advance for the hospitality, after I paidת I asked her to give me an official receipt To my utter surprise, the owner herselfת was not able to do so, apparently because the computer system , only suited the local residents. After a consultation with her accountant at lastת I received a manual receipt. Unfortunately, despite the beauty of the place, given the kind of service provided to us at the lowest level by the staff and at the beginning of our arrival also by the owner herself, there is no doubt that until will not be a radical change here, this place is not suitable for tourists.

We stopped in Cabana Bradet just for one night (although we paid for two just to be able to stay in the room until 6 PM) on the way further east. Cabana Bradet is a nicely located hotel with a lot of green space around. It has a good restaurant with a terrace. The staff was very friendly. They brought us breakfast to the room (the kids were still sleeping when the breakfast time was about to be over). The rooms are not modern, but clean and decently equipped. The only problem was that wasps (or were they hornets?) had a nest above our balcony... Overall, rather positive experience in the area where choice is rather limited.

A friend of mine went there for a wedding and left his car in the parking area over night. Him and other 20 people. On Sunday, they refused to open the gates so that he can take the care and go home. The reason was that “they didn’t feel like it” to come and open... This is outrageous! Don’t go there!
