The villas themselves were the best villas I have ever stayed in........large, very clean, soundproof windows and soundly built. You will not find one problem with these villas. The location is perfect as you are only a 10-second walk to the beach and the breakfast is simple but very tasty. And several restaurants and cafes are within walking distance Laguna villas are the place to stay when you are in Noi and I would definitely return again. And the manager, Nancy (?) was the perfect host. She was very helpful over the telephone and during our stay and had a smile on her face all the time. Thank you Nancy.

They use fresh vegetables and fruits from their own beautiful natural garden. The atmosphere is friendly and familial. They own cats and a lot of chickens, which are free to go wherever they like. If you can afford it, go for the deluxe bungalows. They are worth it! Though the beach is not suitable for swimming. If you look for a calm, beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, this is the place to be! Definitely recommend!

excellent hide-away
Reviewed By Maro_SzClean and modern, basic but comfortable. Located in a back alley quite far from from the hustle still a 15min walking distance from it. Beach near by but there is quite big hotel construction site next to it so the beach is loud with all the machines working behind Your back. Hotel provides scooter rental so You can go to all other beaches... Boongalowes located around the pool might be a little noisy if kids run and play around or if people talk loud, but at night it usually bacome quiet. We've stayed there for a week and all other guests were rather not a pool-party-types :) So it was quiet and tranquil. We had a room on the building ground floor with the entrance from the garden around the corner from the pool (#13) so it was super quiet, probably same standard as in boongalow but also cheaper and still you have chairs and table outside and some private space. The room was comfy, everyday cleaned and serviced with water, towels and bedding. They do not serve breakfasts but every morning there was cofee (real cofee-machine:) and tea, toasts & jam and some fruits available for everyone. Chapeau bas for that - coffee was really great.

The Casacool Hotel is budget family hotel with luxury comfort. Each room is en-suite with air conditioning, free wifi and cable TV. Coffee and Tea is available in each room. we serve a choice of English style, continental or Thai breakfast which is included in the room price. Only five minutes walk from the beach and close to all amenities including bars, restaurants, dive centres and shopping.

We were down with a heatstroke during our stay (having had too much fun in Phuket previously ?) and Kai went out of her way to be there for us. Not only did she set up an appointment with a doctor, she drove us to and from the appointment as well. Given the states we were in, this was really appreciated. She always saw to it that we were heartily fed and had laundered clothes. She gave us suggestions for places to visit and also let us use a scooty to reach them. She coordinated with the bus driver for our onward journey, and even gave us snacks for the ride! Before coming to Khao Lak, we had read in another review that someone felt she was very motherly...we definitely second that having seen how much she looked after us while we were there. She refused to take any extra payment from our side when we wanted to express our gratitude for all that she did for us. She is one of those people who inspires you to be better person! Kai, we hope our paths cross again! :) The place is very cosy and the breakfast is amazing! There are a lot of food and massage options around We would definitely recommend Casacool for anyone visiting Khao Lak!

A relaxing holiday
Reviewed By drethaiI stayed in a standard room . This spatious , very clean AC-room with kingsize bed has a private bathroom ( with all the ammennities you need ) . Tv with some English spoken channels , a fridge and good Wi-Fi . Outside my room , two chairs and a small table where i could relax after a refreshing jump into the clean swimming pool , which was 5 meters from my frontdoor . The very friendly and helpfull staff cleaned my room everyday . Tasty breakfast ( toast , little club- sandwiches , eggs , coffee , orange juice ,..... ). This resort is very well located near many restaurants and shops . About 15 minutes to walk to beautifull Nang Thong Beach . If you have any question of problem during your stay , just go see MUAY . She will do her very best to make sure you can enjoy your stay and have a relaxing holiday . Thanks Muay ?

The accommodation was spotlessly clean with really comfy beds and fresh cotton sheets. Every single staff member was eager to please and just delightful. Food was excellent. Location couldn't be better!

Riverside Guesthouse is on the main road opposite the local Bang Niang market and very close to many shops and restaurants. The beach is just 700m from the guest house. We have one dormitory room for 6 people with kitchen facilities and private bathroom, 4 fan rooms and 8 with air conditioning. Most of our rooms have ensuite facilities and 2 have access to a shared bathroom. We also have 3 superior rooms with a balcony and fridge. Riverside is a clean and affordable guesthouse with friendly service. We also offer monthly rates upon request and a laundry service. Car, motorbike and bicycle hire also available upon request. Reviewed By Coastal701363In March 2019 I spend about a week in total at Riverside Guesthouse. The heart of all is Apple, the owner. She gives the spirit to this little, simple but incredibly sweet and cozy guesthouse. It's central, it's clean and it's very good value for that price. And as mentionned: Apple is a excellent host, very happy and friendly, helpfull and always there for a chat or a good laugh. If you are not looking for a resort and a place right at the beach - that's the place to go. Ronny, Switzerland
