Reviewed By 986rhondarThis place is a super quaint boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Best hospitality I’ve ever had in a hotel. The location is great to swim with whale sharks, hike the waterfalls, go for a stroll around the mall and if you want some real Filipino food AC Palayok is a must The food at this hotel is also good and a nice variety.

Rooms - we stayed in a Mama nipa hut, the flooring was not stable as it is moving, AC - was noisy, heater was not working, toilet - very small and the shower water pressure was too slow and is directed to the toilet seat, no mirror so i had to use my mobile camera to fix myself. Food - tasty and affordable. Kim - very good in terms of hospitality.

Affordable, clean, good lication
Reviewed By FlorencioG45Stay for 2 nights, my room was in the ground floor, I was satisfied for its cleanliness. Convenient location, near 7-11 and eateries, 3minutes walk to the main road, 15-20 minutes to whale shark watching and sumilon Island boat terminal via tricycle. Staff were courteous and friendly(Elma, Jun, sorry forgot other staff) and they are willing to give help and information regarding tourist spot around oslob and nearby town.

Interesting Architecture with Excellent Customer Service
Reviewed By Lizzyme318It so happened that their water tank broke, but they sure made up for it by being very very accommodating. Sending pails of water and hot water to our rooms. I was so impressed with how friendly and easy going the staff are. Breakfast was also a very nice spread. We were expecting a plated service, but they served breakfast family style, portions so generous. The place was so private, there are only 4 rooms in the property with very interesting architecture. It was a bummer that we were not able to see the sunrise since we left very early to do whale shark watching. Though I did not have the free massage, my friends totally enjoyed it. They also offered to do the massage in their cabana, which would have been nice if we were not too weary from canyoneering! They offered to let us wash up after the whaleshark activity, which we declined at first, but when we chanced to go back to wash up, they were all eager to welcome us back though we checked out earlier. Still about a 15 min drive to the whale shark jump off, but the privacy and the service is something that we would be coming back for. You can bring your own food, like for BBQ. They don't have meals except for breakfast. No corkage when we were there. Thanks so much! We had a very short, but very very pleasant stay.

Reviewed By DelanA82The rooms were good. Nice design, spacious especially at the front to sit and relax outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Limited food and drinks can be purchased from reception. Wifi was ok. Variable at times but worked. My only complaint would be the toilet inside the bathroom. The flush was broken so needed manual flushing with a bucket. There were a couple of toilets and showers in public areas outside that worked perfectly fine. Just disappointing the room one did not! The location was good as short walk to a few shops and main road and town centre. For us this was convenient to stay as after we went to do whale shark swimming and then proceeded next day to Kawasan Falls.

In terms of security, our hotel is one of the most secured places one can find as it is very close to the police station in Oslob. Sea-Facing hotel, clean rooms and helpful staff
Reviewed By greg_wandersMy wife and I stayed here a couple of nights. We got into Oslob around 8.30 am by the ferry from Panglao. The hotel made arrangements for an early check in and even upgraded our room for free to the ones on the first floor. Which was a perfect welcome to the South of Cebu. Breakfast wasn't included but the meals at the hotel are reasonably priced with a range of Silog for 100 pesos. All the staff worked in shifts and each time they were very courteous and helpful to what we needed. They helped arrange a scooter for us as well in advance. The room was clean and quite spacious. Maybe the only down side is that there wasn't any hot water. But after a day at the beach a cold shower did just fine. TV and air con in the room which was great. The location of the hotel is also perfect about 7 minute walk to oslob ruins and abiut a 15 minute drive down to the whale sharks/sumilon Island and Tumalog Falls. The balcony overlooking the sea is common for the guests to use and we managed to have breakfast on all three days with a beautiful view. WiFi is available but did not reach our room. Had to be on the stairs to get connected. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here while in oslob. Reasonable priced and good value.

Great big family room - 7 beds!
Reviewed By medicarekevWe rented two rooms, one with 3-beds and the other had 6 or 7 beds. They allowed us to use the facilities to cook all our food. Owner was a little rude making us sit outside for 1 1/2 hrs to wait for our checkin time. Room was already clean and it was soooo hot. So dont show up early, its an inexpensive nice place to stay.

On nous a aidé à prendre nos billets pour l'activité principale (Car il faut faire la queue toute la nuit sinon) et on nous également aidé à découvrir les environs (Sumilon Island est magnifique). Quant au restaurant de la famille, on y a mangé les meilleurs plats de notre vie. Cuisine simple et pleine de saveur avec du poisson frais, que demander de plus. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle expérience en votre compagnie.

What is hard is good customer service, but the staff here make it look effortless. They are fantastic. We were looked after. Breakfast was fabulous. The pool is good for kids, the beach is not great but once you get over the stones/pebbles it is very pleasant. Working beach next door with local families and fishing folk. We came away relaxed and felt we had been staying with distant relatives who were hell bent on looking after us. Not for the smart set. Not for people who fuss about their environment. Excellent for a relaxing family break.

Even with COVID Restrictions they will NOT REFUND my money.
Reviewed By paastahtroyDon't book anything at this hotel. They refuse to give refunds for bookings that were COVID restricted. We booked a stay for 3/16-18 but couldn't travel as COVID hit the Philippines only 2 days before this booking. They will not refund my money even though COVID restrictions wouldn't allow anyone to travel. This is clearly wrong. It sounds like the owner of this property has a pretty poor reputation for service.
