This is our 2nd 2 night stay at this beautiful Inn located off the beaten track. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfasts are delicious with ocean views and jazz playing. The innkeepers are kind and donate to local shelters. Listen to the birds on the deck while sipping tea. Highly recommend.

At the INN at Spring House guests are invited to enjoy modern luxury with thoughtful touches in our newly appointed guest rooms, many with ocean views. All featuring; Supreme bedding & linens, Essential Elements* bath amenities by Gilchrist & Soames, AC, WiFi, and Extended Basic Cable. A stay at the Inn also comes with a chef prepared morning breakfast, Wine & Cheese hour, and Courtesy Shuttle.
We had a great long weekend at the Inn at Spring House in early spring, 2022. We've stayed at many spots on the island, and this is a standout. The building is quite new, and simply but tastefully furnished. There was an odd snafu (unrelated to the property itself) and the staff was very responsive with an upgraded room. The b'fast chef was excellent, and he does double-duty up at the wonderful Barn restaurant.

We stayed in the christina room. Sizable room and bathroom, very clean, didnt hear a peep from the restaurant/bakery downstairs or anything from the street. Comfortable bed. Hotel is located right in the middle of everything. Walk to the beach, harbor, restaurants. perfect spot.

Surrounded by the ocean, The Sullivan House is Block Island's premier location for vacations, fine dining, weddings and private parties. Guests enjoy resort activities such as on-site kayaking, bike rental and beach access.
We had the opportunity to stay at the Sullivan House in June for 3 nights! The property is one of a kind with cozy bedrooms, a perfect island location with breathtaking ocean views and the staff were so accommodating! Traveling with a vegetarian was fantastic being served fresh fruit and veggies! We can’t wait to return to our new favorite second home.

Welcome to Narragansett Inn, your Block Island “home away from home.” Narragansett Inn aims to make your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, which is why so many guests continue to come back year after year. These are basic accommodations that are truly a step back in time with a great location in New Harbor at the end of Payne's Dock and next door to the Boat Basin. For guests with a vehicle, free parking is available. While visiting Block Island, you may want to try some a mudslide, sushi or a lobster roll at one of the nearby restaurants, such as The Oar. If you are interested in exploring Block Island, check out a history museum, such as Block Island Historical Society.
Dirty. Places of fire hazard. No housekeeping. We asked for a second fan during the Heatwave and they did not have one to give. Nobody cleans the dirty bathroom. There is no longer a restaurant here. Not a bleach bottle in sight.

I made a reservation at blockislandreservations.com and paid in full. Unfortunately an accident prevented me from making the trip as scheduled. After studying the terms of the reservation, I realized that the reservation, though non-refundable, was changeable subject to a change fee. I called for a change, and the lady on the phone claimed it was not changeable. I had to send over through email a screenshot of the booking page showing the terms, and the lady changed her story and claimed the ”no-change policy” was in a “reminder” email sent after the reservation, which I never received. After some back and forth, the lady had to reluctantly admit the “no-change policy” did not exist at the time of making the reservation. Though the fact was finally clear, the lady showed no intention to resolve the issue in a constructive manner: the only thing she suggested was that I sue in court. While preparing to escalate this for a resolution, I am sharing the experience so that you understand the type of host you will deal with when booking at blockislandreservations.com.

Our family-owned resort has a wide variety of types of rooms and rates and is open year-round. Here on property, the buildings include The 1661 Inn, Mitchell Cottage, Guest House and Nicholas Ball Cottage. We also manage several other properties that are included in our offerings. These are not located at our property, but are on Block Island within 1/2 mile of the main building. These off property locations are the Anchor House, Dodge Cottage, Ashley House, Appleyard and Hendrickson House. We have a wide variety of types of rooms - so we are sure to have something perfect for you! Our higher end rooms feature combinations of ocean views, fireplaces, spa tubs and air-conditioning. We also have standard rooms with private bath (most with air-conditioning) and few basic rooms with shared bath.
This was my (maybe) eighth visit to the 1661 and I keep returning because there is nowhere else on the Island I care to be! Not only are the rooms impeccably clean, but the staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. Rita is so sweet and approachable. She is so friendly, my husband is convinced she knows us, though I do my best to convince him we are only two of thousands of visitors a year, she is THAT hospitable! Thank you AGAIN for such a wonderful stay 1661! Can’t wait to return!!❤️ R LaFlamme

The Hendrickson House has 6 modern spacious guest rooms all with private bathrooms and 2 large apartments with full kitchens and balconies. This property is in Old Harbor and walking distance to shops, restaurants and beaches.
3rd floor, sleeps 3, great room. Only negative thing is that the walls are not soundproof as it were and noise does travel through. Up 3 flights of stairs are a workout, so know ahead of time what floor you are on. The bed was perfect, and the day bed was also very comfortable. Our friends were on the 2nd floor with a balcony and boy was that entertaining watching the moped lessons.

A family run B&B ready to help you unplug from the real world however you want, while enjoying the warmth and tranquility of our eco-friendly Inn and building a lasting connection with the simplicity and beauty of our Island!
My boyfriend Dan and I have loved this place both times we've visited! Last summer, my boyfriend surprised me with a couple days in Block Island for my birthday, so this year we naturally had to go back for my birthday again! We did a three day stay (two nights) in the Black Rock room. This place is all about the little touches - some muffins and orange juice tucked away for when you might get hungry for a snack during the day. A homemade breakfast first thing in the morning. A wet bar with wine glasses and coffee for whenever you need. A cozy room that feels like home. Games out in the yard. Hammocks tucked around if you want to curl up with a book. This spot is perfect if you're looking to enjoy / see Block but get away from the "hustle/bustle" right off the ferry (or the craziness of Ballards!). We rented bikes upon arrival and just spent a few days exploring the island, saw a few baby seals, and enjoyed the area. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!
