The Inn was undergoing renovations and upgrading during our visit. So far, inside restoration work, furnishings and decorating are beautiful. There will be a challenge bringing the grounds and gardens back to what must have been amazing. We hope to return to see the progress in the fall. The Inn is still a grand and luxurious place to stay.

We are a family owned and operated bed and breakfast located on picturesque Route 100 in Southern Vermont. When you call you will reach Carina and she is happy to assist in booking your stay. We are less than a mile from the slopes of Mount Snow/Carinthia and fewer than 20 minutes to Stratton Mountain Resort. We offer a full Vermont breakfast cooked to order. We pride ourselves on using only locally sourced eggs, Vermont maple syrup, organic sausages and bacon which is dry cured and smoked in Vermont. By buying local products we are trying to do our part to ensure great tasting breakfast and a healthy Vermont economy. We have a year round hot tub, game room and lounge area and we are on the Moover Route. We are the perfect location for families, a reunion or group gathering. We can tailor any event you might want to have to include dinner here at the Inn or have the opportunity to dine at any of the fine restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. My family was up there for a ski get away at Mount Snow. The staff was friendly and the made to order breakfast was delicious. The rooms are quaint and exactly what we needed. TV in the great room downstairs with board games and quiet area to sit. Downstairs in the basement had a ping pong table, pool table, air hockey games. The Inn is about a mile away from Mount Snow and other restaurants in the area.

On a peaceful hillside above historic West Dover, Deerhill Inn faces Vermont's tranquil Green Mountains. It's a special place with a warm welcome. Guestrooms feature jetted tubs, fireplaces, TV/DVD players; balconies or decks have Mountain or garden views. A pretty pool nestles in flower-filled gardens. Sitting and dining rooms welcome with log fires, candles and views. Menus feature fresh local ingredients and a Wine Spectator-awarded wine list. Full country breakfast, afternoon refreshments and WiFi are complimentary.
We stayed in the Tamarack room. Gas fireplace, jacuzzi, view of Haystack Mountain. The on-site inkeepers are cordial and attentive. Breakfast was great: eggs done perfectly, coffee hot and fresh, served in the room with china and silverware. Lots of nice places to hang out outside of the room, adorable eclectric library. Immaculately clean.

Antique-filled 9 guest room country inn with woodburning fireplaces, private baths, TV/DVDs, luxury linens and many amenities. Full cooked to order breakfast and afternoon refreshments served daily. Located in a 4 season resort area in Southern Vermont with spectacular scenery, golf, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, antiquing, music festivals, arts and crafts, skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and sleigh rides all nearby.
Booked a last minute stay at this inn, and was immediately welcomed in by the inn keeper at the front door. We had our dog with us and the inn keeper was equally as welcoming to our little pup. He gave us a room with clean linen, cozy fireplace, and rustic furniture that made for a lovely stay. We enjoyed every part of our stay, especially how safe the inn was with their covid regulations. Masks required despite vaccination (plenty of free masks and face shields at the entrance of the inn), hand sanitizer, and lysol wipes in the hallway. During these unprecedented times, it’s the best when there are rules placed and followed, which allows for a worry-free vacation. The innkeeper had coffee, tea, breakfast out every morning for us, which gave us time to get ready to be out and about for our day. He was easy to reach throughout the entire day, and even called us to warn us about traffic on a highway. He showed us so much hospitality, we really hope more visitors come and stay at the deerfield valley inn to experience it for themselves!

The Vermont House is an 1850’s elegant colonial inn with a storied history in the center of Wilmington, Vermont. Throughout its tenure in the Deerfield Valley, it has been a warm respite for travelers to the Wilmington area. Over 150 years later, it has been completely renovated as a Hermitage property and continues a tradition of unsurpassed elegance in the heart of the Deerfield Valley.
My fiancé and I have stayed at multiple hotels near Mount Snow and The Vermont house was by far the best. Our room was perfect. Plenty of space for our bags and ski gear, very comfortable bed and a nice modern bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and even helped us with dinner recommendations. The location of the hotel was great. It’s right on the main strip in Wilmington and in walking distance to 3 or 4 very good restaurants and a couple really fun bars. It’s only a 15-20 minute drive to the mountain which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is going to Mt. Snow or even just visiting the area.

I stayed April 16-18. First of all, i do not think the room was even cleaned before arrival. There was hair all over the bathroom and it had no soap, towels, garbage bags etc. Even the tip envelope with $5 from the last guest was still on the desk. Room service didn’t even come to clean the room during our stay. Then on Easter I went to grab something from my car and got locked outside. I was given a code for Saturday that ended up not being the same code for Sunday. I was locked outside in the cold in a tshirt without my phone for about an hour until my boyfriend came to the door wondering what was taking me so long. I ended up having to waste my gas to warm up in my car because it got so cold. This is completely unacceptable. My boyfriend and I were forced to spend Easter in the hotel after that afraid we wouldn’t be able to get back in. If I had been by myself I would have been locked out until another guest came which could’ve possibly not been til the morning which is once again beyond unacceptable. Lastly, there was never anyone at the desk to assist in the countless problems we had. I come to mount snow almost every weekend and have never had an experience as bad as this. Avoid at all costs!

A new beginning for Vermont’s beloved Hermitage Inn has arrived! The Hermitage Inn has new proprietors who completed an extensive renovation of the property and grounds in the Fall of 2021 to bring a luxury country resort, award-winning culinary team, and 5-star guest experience to the Deerfield Valley. Nestled in the serene foothills of Southern Vermont’s Green Mountains, The Hermitage Inn welcomes guests with its unique brand of mountain elegance and inviting hospitality.
I stayed for 5 days at the Hermitage Inn with my boyfriend. I booked a room in the Carriage House and it was wonderful! We came when things were quiet so my boyfriend and I were literally the only ones staying at the inn until our last day! We had the Carriage House (and the property) all to ourselves and it was amazing! Our room was large, beautiful, and newly renovated with a lovely fireplace and a big flat screen TV. We had breakfast delivered to us every morning, which included delicious meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, scones, crackers and orange juice. Even though we were alone the inn keepers were always available to us and promptly replied to any questions or requests we had. Since we were the only people there the owners graciously invited us to a free lunch at the restaurant (which is delicious, BTW) to test out the menu before opening. The property itself is beautiful and in a lovely little town. I was so pleased with my stay and with service provided. I can't wait to go back!

This place really is just falling apart and if not for the location would probably have shut down by now. The most concerning thing I noticed was the fire escape is blocked by a giant mound of ice at the bottom of the stairs. Made me start thinking about what else is wrong with the building that I didn't see - wiring/fire hazard, mold etc. It's also super loud (you can hear your neighbor's pee) and there's one router in the whole place so no wifi in the rooms.
