What a wonderful stay ! Our host Francesco was friendly, organized , informative and answered my requests immediately. The apartment is absolutely fantastic: High-end top quality amenities , practical layout. The neighbours are friendly and even told us where in town we could do our covid test (required to travel back to our country.) Monreale has THE most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen in my life…and probably will ever see!

Greeted by Elvira when arriving and the house was beautiful. While our Italian is good, English is available through her daughter. The B&B is located on upper Santa Liberta so if your GPS turns you downhill (as Garmin did) go the other way. The room and breakfast were exquisite. After our arrival and grand discussion about the area, our host drove us to the city center (normally a short distance but steep walk). The walk back was easy and later for dinner we made the trek up on our own.

In the historic centre of Monreale, in a small block of flats 200 metres far from the Cathedral, there is "Palazzo Ducale Suites." The strategic position of our hotel allows you to live the historical centre and the atmosphere of the town, and to savour our traditional dishes in the nearby typical restaurants. Thanks to the closeness to Palermo (4 km far) our guests will be able to discover its art treasures while benefiting by a stay far from the town chaos. Staying at Palazzo Ducale Suites includes a large breakfast with the typical dishes of our land. Each room is well furnished, equipped with the following: bed and sofa bed, private bathroom with shower, bidet and washbasin, complete set of bedding and towels, hairdryer, television, Sky, WiFi, Internet point, supplying electric energy, cold and hot water, heating, air conditioning, independent entrance, daily cleaning. Moreover we provide a large indoor parking area. The level of the equipment and services is comparable to what you can find in a four stars hotel or boardinghouse, but the terms are definitely cheaper. Palazzo Ducale Suites is easy to reach from the motorways, the railway station and "Falcone Borsellino" Airport (PMO).
Right in the heart of Monreale, this gem shines with excellence. Beautiful rooms tastefully decorated and clean. Quiet at night. Excellent customer service. Director and staff go above and beyond to help and make your stay pleasant. Will definitely be back. Grazie!

The host was friendly and helpful. We were there for one night and had a very nice room with a balcony. It was just spoilt by very thin pillows, an old sheet and a very thin top sheet on the bed so we were cold in the night. Private parking was good. Not far from Monreale Duomo which is amazing.

Let's face it, Monreale is full of tourists, and there are plenty of tourist traps in the town. We were lucky to find this place, and considering how close it is to the cathedral, it's amazing how good it was. There was pleasant outdoor seating, the service was friendly and efficient (well, we weren't in a rush anyway). The food was good, fresh, and well-prepared, on a high quality level.

Casa Rossa is a new bed and breakfast lying in a panoramic position looking over “La Conca d’Oro” (The Golden Shell), the wonderful gulf of Palermo. The structure is organized as a bed and breakfast as well as a holiday house and provided with 24 beds. They are arranged in rooms and apartments (with small kitchen) and equipped with TV, air conditioning and heating system, internet on request, parking area, a panoramic terrace where a beautiful view hugs the village and the town.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Good size apartment with a fridge in the communal area we could use. Lovely views from the pool side. It was too cold when we visited to go in the pool but I believe it would be excellent when hot weather. The rooms are quite basic but the thing that makes this place special is how helpful the owners were. They were able to suggest things for us to do in the nearby area and we’re very kind to our two toddlers.

We arrive very late from the airport (11.30 pm) and still we were warmly welcomed by our host Ilenia. She had saved us a parking spot and helped us to get our luggage. The b&b is on a flat street so it was easy to unload our staff. There is one door step and then a ramp to enter which was fine for the wheelchair. The bedroom is spacious with a double bed, a sofa bed and a table where we had a typical Sicilian breakfast for the two mornings we were there (the ricotta chocolate cake was delicious !). There is a little ramp to go to the bathroom which is completely adapted for a person in a wheelchair (space to go under the sink, a roll-in shower and handles for the toilet). This b&b is closed to the magnificent duomo but keep in mind that to walk there the roads are very steep so if the wheelchair doesn’t have any type of motorizations it’s impossible. I would then suggest to drive down. Also it was practical to stay there because it is only a 20 min drive to Palermo where there is restricted zones for cars during the week. We appreciated the hospitality of Ilenia and the help of Francesca, her sister, our contact in English beforehand. We recommend this b&b if visiting Palermo and Monreale.

A family-run villa surrounded by greenery and tranquility of the countryside of Monreale for your holiday in Sicily.
We spent a fabulous 4 nights in this beautiful accommodation with pool and pretty gardens. The hosts are provided nice breakfasts and could not have been more helpful. They took us to the village each evening and gave lots of helpful advice.

My friends and I stayed at this welcoming B&B but without any expectations (as you do when staying at B&Bs), however this has turned out to be an excellent choice! The location was perfect, lovely view of Palermo and to top that off add the brilliant staff (Bianca in particular), nicely laid out clean rooms and the restaurant below offering the most amazing traditional food. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again at my next visit and I couldn't recommend the Locanda Del Drago highly enough! Good work! Keep it up. Dario
