We stayed here on part of our Mai Hong Son loop trip The owner was very welcoming and the accommodation was amazing with really good facilities and really clean. Only a short walk into Pai walking street it was ideal but not to close so it was nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend to a friend

Beautiful, clean huts. Has a mozzie net and bathroom with toiletries and towels provided. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, but it is free and has some good fruit. Good location, across the river from the main road and quiet. The only gripe is some loud announcements over the loudspeaker (I think this was across the town?) at around 7am.

excellent location, and there was nothing wrong with the place, but just stayed in better places. room is small and basic for 2 people, with no room turnover (did not bother us at all but mentioning as might bother others). hammock a nice touch. bathroom attracted a lot of bugs able to get in through the roof but it is quaint and tolerable right along the river which is very pleasant for a short stay which is all you need in Pai.

Experiencing "The New Traditional" stylish hotel by the Pai River, on one of the most lively walking streets, featuring fourteen new design rooms within the charming antique house.
Suggest to take the balcony room to enjoy the ambience by the small stream running pass by. It s so good sitting at balcony. The property is very clean and well maintained. Staffs are friendly and polite. Breakfast is a la cart but served as much as you want, which is good. The only pitfall staying would be the noise from the pub nearby. I was staying at the end of the property upstairs , still heard the music clearly. But that was friday night. Not sure whether the music would be this loud on weekdays.

A small, family run guesthouse by the river in central Pai. Close enough to the main street so that all the local amenities are within walking distance, but down a side street so that a quiet, restful sleep is guaranteed. Accommodation consists of both rooms and bungalows, fan and air-con available. Free wi-fi and a free book exchange are just 2 of the perks at Breeze of Pai. So, come and see us, you'll be glad you did.
Heard recommendation about this plqce. Friends of mine were staying there, and I came to see their room before booking a night there. When I was at their room, the owner came to me and yelled at me for entering his property and threatened to kick my friends for bringing me over, even though I explained that I am interested in staying there. Rude and disrespectful.

We are a cosy and friendly guesthouse, in a quiet area 5 minutes away from Pai's main street. All rooms have a bigbed with mosquito net and fan, bathroom with hot shower and a veranda with a hammock and a table with two chairs. We also have free Wi-Fi, water, tea and coffee. To get here is really easy: exit the bus station to your left, continue on the main street until you reach the river, cross the bamboo bridge and walk 200 meters. We will be on your left.
Friendly, good rooms (old and new) and lovely staff and owner. 300m walk to the street perfect place for a relaxed stay and peace and quiet yet close to town. Cannot fault at all, and breakfast is good too

It is situated rather far away from the walking street but made up by the free transport arrangement to bring guests to and back from the town centre where eateries and bars are located. The single pro and con are both related to its location and accessibility. Furthermore, from the micro perspective, accessibility is also about within the premises. It is certainly not wheel chair friendly and those carrying luggages should avoid upper floor as it is staircase only. In fact I think the hotel management should advise its customers that they should not bring their luggage along to check in but after checking in at the counter, then bring the luggage via the carpark slop, to avoid climbing steps to reach their rooms My second take on this lace is that while it is named a resort and indeed its external environment is a resort like setting, the rooms need to maintain a certain degree of upkeep in housekeeping. The bathroom is certain ly below expectation - at best 2-star. I am not sure why the handle of the shower is made entire of metal as when hot water passes through it, it is quite impossible to hold it without being “burned”. The water pressure of the heater is inconsistent thus resulted in uneven passing out of hot water, making balancing a continuous fussing game. It is such a pity that such minus issues are overlooked by the hotel management which may affect retuning customers.

Stayed here for 4 nights, the room was clean and bed very comfortable with good air con. Location was a little outside of town, but only a 10 minute walk. The night market was fantastic every night and had lots of Vegan options available such as Noodle Soups, Falafel Pittas and amazing amazing Gyozas from Gyoza Queen!!! Would highly recommend visiting here for some peace and quiet out of busy Chiang Mai, with many sites to see.

Located 50 metres from the Riverhouse Resort, the Riverhouse Hotel property is entirely made from teak as well as featuring entirely handmade teak furniture throughout. The hotel prides itself in making you feel at home and peaceful among this beautiful setting along the Yuam River. Since its opening in 2001, Riverhouse Hotel has embraced the Thai way of life and shares it with newcomers. Removing one’s shoes is customary in Thai households and at the Riverhouse we adhere to such practices and ask guests to do the same. Just another way to make everyone feel at home:) The Teak House has 12 rooms comprised of twin, double and triple en suites and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I stopped here for the night on the way back to Chiang Mai and was very impressed with the character and feel of the original building almost entirely made of teak wood and overlooking the river. It was very quiet in town but I was made most welcome and absorbed the charm and ambience of this beautiful setting.
