The Maison rooms have an eclectic fusion of ultra modern and vintage decor. There are 26 uniquely decorated rooms and 4 suites with a varied mix of Svengali's trademark exquisite and sassy colour combinations. The rooms are relatively spacious and airy with abundant natural light, ocean views, mod cons and pristine designer bathrooms.
First stay: Despite being a regular at Clear Essence hotel in Ikoyi (strongly recommended), I was looking for something in the Victoria Island axis off the mainland. Booked a few weeks ahead via agoda (with a note left for a preference for a high-floored room). The check-in process was quite standard and smooth with someone on hand ready to help get bags up into the room. I was initially helped with my bags into room 101 but upon entering the room, I received a call from the front desk acknowledging the booking note about wanting a high floor room. I thought this to have been quite thoughtful and was moved to room 301. The standard room in itself is quite spacious: a queen size bed, a walk-in closet, a tv, a reading desk, and a pretty spacious bathroom. With the exception of a few blown out bulbs and some unclear TV channels, the room appeared clean and in order. Front desk: Front desk appears to always be attended to. Credit to Abiodun, Charles and Blessing who were always on hand to help round the clock. Cleaning: Cleaning is provided daily with bottles of water replaced. A bottle of water is usually put on the bathroom sink — signalling to use this instead of tap water. There is a door card in the room to indicate a desire to either have the room cleaned or not. Breakfast: With breakfast set from 6:00 to 11:00, I was usually down at 10 for breakfast — trying to catch the last hour. The breakfast is quite adequate with a range of continental options, some indigenous ones like yam, stewed eggs and fruits. Breakfast costs 6000NGN. Restaurant seemingly runs round the clock. Power: Power is relatively constant with the infrequent interruption which do not last longer than a couple of minutes when it does occur. Wifi: Wifi is quite decent and only interrupted when power supply is lost (for about a couple minute upon restart). Other amenities: With the reception and restaurant on the ground floor, the other 3 floors are dedicated to rooms with the rooftop as a lounge on the fourth floor. All floors are serviced by one public-access elevator- not clear” The lounge gets quite busy in the evening especially on weekends. Never had too much of an issue with noise even on the 3rd floor. Parking space is a bit tight inside the gates but fairly managed with the security men willing to keep the car keys to re-park or re-shuffle as needed. The security men also provide a relatively good service of an inside-out hand-clean of vehicles for NGN1500, if needed/requested. Although there is no gym / fitness centre, there is an outdoor pool - providing a nice place to relax, socialize and have a drink or two. The only gripe with my stay came from the bathroom. The bathroom layout (which is not uncommon in Nigeria) has the whole room tiled up with a shower- head and drain on one end as well as the toilet and an adjacent sink on the other. Downside, there was a stench comes from the bath drain which became stronger as the hours went by. Tried to cope with it by having maintenance come in twice a day to bleach down and pour what appeared to be chlorine down the drain. Although this “treatment” stung the eye right after for a few minutes, it provided some relief for a few hours. To be fair, the issue appears structural along the rooms ending in x01 (got a whiff of the same stench in my few minutes in room 101 upon check-in but in room 301, it appeared to have been much stronger). After 3 nights of these treatments to the drain, I requested a room change which I must admit was disappointing as I would have expected the initiative to change rooms have been taken by the staff. I ran into Mr. Chris (the manager on site) during breakfast who was quite apologetic about the situation and promised to have me moved for my final night. I got moved to another standard room 304 for my final night which didn’t have the stench as much. Redeemed by the final night in room 304 — encouraged me to go ahead and book my second stay of 4 nights for the following week. The second 4-night stay, the following week, in room 204 was largely uneventful in a good way. I would recommend the hotel at a good price value. Recommendation: Go straight to the bathroom, mask off and take a deep breath in before unpacking & settling in. Rooms ending in 04 have a dedicated router in the room. Give the bazaar rice from the restaurant a try.

Cotton Suites is a premier luxury accommodation strategically located in a choice area in Victoria Island, Lagos State, the commercial hub of Nigerian business landscape. The hotel boasts of luxurious fully fitted rooms, a world class restaurant, an in-house bar, 24 hour security and other great services
This trip was enjoyable as I was able to finish my meetings on time due to a very quiet environment and no distraction so I had enough time to get in the cotton groove. I like the fact that its a small and coded boutique hotel with a lounge and a DJ on Friday night with a controlled sound system not to disturb the lodgers. I danced all night and retired to my room at 12am. Food was incredible and staff were very respectful and coordinated. I recommend this hotel.

I have read many reviews about this hotel on other sites and one of the reviews described it as one of the best-kept secrets in Lagos and I totally agree. The first deciding factor for me whenever I go into any city is the nearness to the airport, security, and closeness to facilities, especially in a city like Lagos with unpredictable traffic. Swiss Cottage is situated on a quiet residential street in the Alausa area of Ikeja which means it is a stone's throw to the seat of government in Lagos and also close to restaurants, banks, and the famous Ikeja City Mall. This makes for easy opportunities for relaxation as the mall has countless restaurants, a cinema, and numerous cafes. Another deciding factor was the availability of comfort tools such as air-condition and stand-by generator and Swiss Cottage was not lacking in any of these even at a time when the country and businesses were crying under the weight of darkness and increase in diesel prices. There was always power 24/7. The most exciting news however is that the hotel is currently undergoing a massive refurbishment(something most hotels in this part of the world just don't engage in). So from April 2022, guests will be lodging in a cosy environment with brand new facilities. Interaction with the staff during my stay was positive and would recommend this hotel.

A lovely 3 star boutique hotel only 15 minutes drive from the international airport. On site are a modern bar and restaurant which serve a variety of continental dishes. All rooms are en-suite and air conditioned with a flat screen TV and satellite channels. There is 24/7 electricity (a regular problem in Lagos) and on-site armed police security. There is also a beautiful neoclassical banquet hall.
the hotel was nice before, but the management over they was poor, some bad boys always loitering at the premises smoking ......even smoking inside the room and making noise at night, i think the owner should do something about the management cause is very pooooooooooooor

Atlantic Hotel is a boutique property with tastefully furnished rooms located just minutes from the Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport. Amenities include a swimming pool and sports bar, 24X7 room service, dining room, international buffet breakfast, secure and serene environment as we cater to major multinational companies in the Oil & Gas and communications sector.
It's a bit out of the way and looks small from the outside, but the space is very large and the rooms are spacey, clean, comfortable. The bathrooms are also large and clean, and one of the best features is the incredible water pressure in the shower (which DOES also have hot water). We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and had a nice atmosphere. The one area that needs improvement is the kitchen services. Staff did not to have good customer service skills (it was also often hard to get a hold of or find the front desk staff in a timely manner). Many items on the menu were not available, and what was available was not great - the Indian food (at least the biryani we ordered) was far from authentic. Service was slow and prices were on the high side. In addition, you are charged a 10% service fee on ANY food bought (even bottled water) - whether you eat in your room or at the restaurant. We were told that it is for the service of bringing your plate and cutlery out to the table for you. It IS stated on the menu, but it's something to be aware of so that you understand the charges ahead of time. Decent place to stay with decent mid-range prices, I would just suggest getting your food somewhere outside.

Adna Hotel is home away from home, with its exquisite decor and very neat environment. Quality staff and good food to crown it all. The pool view is breath taking with the palm tress providing a natural canopy for our guests to enjoy themselves in our very relaxing facilty.
The place is very new, very clean. Beds have a bit of privacy and rolling storage is very quiet. Nice separated showers and toilet. Lots of sinks but no soap. You must make your own bed and no duvet cover. You have to use two flat sheets to surround the duvet, which get caught up in your feet all night. The comforters are just re-folded and not washed each time. Huge common spaces and lots of USB ports downstairs, but no USB’s at your bed. Furniture downstairs is mostly hard seats. You can’t get your bed before 2:00, but the ones in our room were cleaned by 11:00 and available. Really? Why not make your guests comfortable... especially if they have to make their own bed? Staff are professional but tense. They are not relaxed and seem stressed. I hesitated to ask for anything. Overall, good location, good stay.
