Reviewed By Arthur EWE PAID FOR TWO NIGHTS FOR NOTHING! We booked and paid in advance a room for May 2020, but because of Covid-19 lockdown we had to cancel. We understand that this is a difficult time but the owner barely answered when we asked for a solution, and now he simply does not answer anymore. As a result, we paid for two nights for nothing! A really disappointing experience, I've never seen such a bad way to deal with customers' requests. It gives a very bad image of the owners.

Anna reached out to me a few days before our arrival to ensure we were connected via WhatsApp to make sure our arrival and check in were smooth. Villa Lieta is a beautiful place to stay while in Ischia. We stayed in the suite and enjoyed the amazing view of Castello Aragonese every morning while we ate our delicious breakfast and every evening before heading out to dinner. You really cannot get enough of the spectacular view. But, what makes Villa Lieta truly special is Anna. She will go out of her way to make reservations and recommendations and will do anything she can to make sure your stay is perfect. We are so happy we stayed at Villa Lieta and will certainly return!

I travelled to the island alone and was moving around the island every few days or so to experience it in full. Was contacted almost immediately after my booking by the hotel manager Umberto. He was very responsive to all my questions (and I had many). The hotel was clean, modern and perfectly situated in the centre of Forio by the main via, though it was always quiet. Praise to Umberto who was the perfect host, friendly and fun to talk to. Will definitely stay here again on my return as I felt at home and what is more, the price of the room for what you get is fantastic!

Reviewed By LiMo2009Among all those large, old-fashioned holiday hotels in Ischia, Black Market Hotel is a really fantastic find: it's boutique, feels welcoming and urban and pays a lot of attention to details. The location was perfect for my needs: just a short walk from the port and the main bus station and in easy walking distance to several good restaurants and the center of town. Makes it easy to get around without a car. The room was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean - the fantastic view was a plus. Just make sure to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper like me, because the road can be noisy. Breakfast on the terrace or the common room was lovely - here again, the daily different cups showed a great attention to detail. The staff was really friendly and helpful! Thanks a lot!

Lovely stay in Ischia
Reviewed By AleGajaBWe've spent 3 nights in this beautifully furnished and well organized B&B in the very center of the city of Ischia, and we loved it. The B&B is located on the very top floor of a 3 stories building, in a quite area, a short walk from the beach, the main shopping street and 5-10 minutes from the harbor. Filippo welcomed us and provided us with all sort of useful information. There is no elevator in the building and Filippo very kindly helped us carry our luggages upstairs. We stayed in a large room with a comfortable bed, a modern en-suite bathroom and a beautiful terrace with a table and chairs. The B&B includes a lovely breakfast, prepared fresh every morning by Anna, with the choice of either salty or sweet options made using locally sourced ingredients. We highly recommend trying the chocolate nuts cake. We enjoyed our stay and we'll surely be back.
