The perfect B&B for your stay in Albany. The historic house is located downtown in front of beautiful Washington Park. We were greeted warmly by the owner. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Beautiful garden in the back to relax, have a drink or to eat breakfast.

Each of the five guest suites has its own private bathroom, some with claw foot tubs. Fresh baked snacks and a cold drink on the porch are a great way to spend an afternoon. Enjoy a peaceful night sleep in your comfy bed and wake up to a full breakfast in our country kitchen or dining room. Free WIFI and off-street parking is included.
There are B and B’s….and then there is the Gardner Farm Inn. From the second we met proprietor and owner John, we felt as if we had known him for years. The house has been lovingly decorated with an eclectic collection of items that recall memories spanning generations. It is clear that hospitality is king at Gardner Farm Inn. John is accompanied by two lovely rescue Greyhounds who are as sweet and docile as can be. The breakfast — served at our requested time, was lovely with some items coming straight from the on premise garden. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. The quality of the sheets alone was worth the stay! Most reviews end here. The house was lovely, the amenities perfect and the food excellent. In my opinion, this is where the review begins! John is such an interesting and engaging host, we did not want to leave. We could have chatted all day. There are a number of fun things to see and reasons to visit Troy, NY. Be sure to put the Gardner Farm Inn at the top of your list.

Great B&B. Unfortunately, not really we were the only ones in the inn for our two nights. We had the run of the place. Our room was huge and had everything we needed. Don filled us in on the history of the place and the surrounding area, which we appreciated. He takes great pride in the inn as he should. Attention to detail is a hallmark for this B&B. Have recommended here to my golf partners for future trips. The breakfasts were fantastic as well. Well done Don.

Weary visitors have been staying at the Beekman Arms since 1766. Our fireplace is always a welcome sight in the cold winter months, and in the summer join in the fun events happening on our Delamater Lawn! Call the front Desk to see what happening at "the Beek"
This is wonderful hotel. It's history is amazing and they have done a wonderful job to keep things original and available to the visitors.. The location in Rhinebeck puts you within walking distance of everything in this wonderful village. The employees and service are all first rate and very helpful.

The Cold Spring Hotel charms guests at first glance with its architecture and decor. Located in the quaint village of Cold Spring, NY. With just a little over an hour from NYC on the Metro-North Hudson Line. The most beautiful hiking trails north of city, shops for antiques and more. Each room has carved mahogany queen beds and stained glass windows with a spectacular view.
On a sunny summer Saturday, it can be very challenging to get a table at a Cold Spring restaurant for lunch--competition is fierce! After trying several places on Main Street to no avail, my husband and my friend and I walked across the street to the Cold Spring Cafe (downstairs from the Cold Spring Hotel). It's such a modest place, it doesn't exactly draw people in, but the food is remarkably fresh, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the location couldn't be more perfect, nestled among the shops of Main Street. We had a table outside where we enjoyed our fresh salads and what may have been the best avocado toast I've ever had, while engaging in excellent people watching. Don't let this unassuming place fool you! It's as good as any eatery in Cold Spring.

This hidden gem is a perfect spot to stay in the Hudson Valley. The owner Martin is welcoming, warm and caring. A pretty Inn with charming rooms a few miles south of Hudson, NY. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms had high end toiletries. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, a variety of breads, muffins and cereals, along with spreads and smoked salmon. When Martin learned we had canceled our trip to Paris due to a Covid restriction, he surprised us with croissants for breakfast. There is always coffee, tea and cookies available. Can’t wait to visit again.

The Washington Park Inn is a boutique hotel in Albany, NY situated directly on historic Washington Park in a brick, turreted Victorian mansion built in 1884, located a short walk to downtown, the Capitol Building and Empire State Plaza, Albany Medical Center, Albany Law School & Albany Pharmacy College. The inn is only two blocks from hip Center Square, a neighborhood of 19th-century brownstones, where you can stroll to numerous restaurants, galleries, pubs, and music venues. We cater to busy professionals who just need things to work or the leisure traveler who just wants to relax and take things in.
Haven't stayed here before? Make NO assumptions about what your experience will be. Owner says it’s not a B&B, so do not assume B&B amenities. No on-site staff & unreliable keypad technology, so do not be surprised by not getting into your room when you arrive & expect a delay in owners’ responses to issues … if they respond at all. • By design no staff on site. Confirmation email provided no code for front door keypad, so we couldn’t even enter building. Texts & voice-mails to two numbers plus emails to two addresses went unanswered for *more than an hour*. • First texted keypad codes did not work; additional messaging & waiting was required before unlocking our room. • Room 7 designated a “suite.” Seems a bit generous for a bed, a desk w/ chair, an easy chair, and a private bath. • Room was frigid; no temperature control in room. No blanket in room (only sheet + duvet on bed); info sheet sent us to a supply closet for a blanket. No more blankets in supply closet, just a few washcloths & some sunscreen. • TV in room not connected to a cable or dish service (see photos). • Breakfast unstaffed. Only “hot” items: K-cup coffee, toast or bagels (provided), or something you bring in & cook yourself in common kitchen. • Owner states it is not a B&B. If true, then they need to contact all travel web sites that include WPI in the “B&B” category. • Text from owner two hours after our arrival: “I will be giving you a partial refund for all of this headache and if you’d like to stop by my bar across the park, I’d love to give you a glass of wine or a beer. Terribly sorry.” I thanked her for the partial refund but declined the drink(s) offer; we were road-weary & lost time just to get into our room. One week later: no partial refund. I texted her: “It’s been a week since we checked out. When might we expect to see the partial refund in our credit card activity?” Two weeks after check-out & a week after the follow-up text: No reply to the text & still no partial refund.

The Borland House is a gracious 18th Century Greek Revival home with a focus on gourmet food. Our accommodations combine comfort, elegance, warmth and something special for the gourmand. Chef Anna, trained in Southern France, has created a special place with a focus on farm-to-table comfort food even creating a backyard farm and orchard. From just enjoying the full sit down breakfast in the Brunch House Restaurant on the Main Floor of the House, to the options of adding on gourmet 3-5 course dinners or cooking classes, the Borland House has a uniqueness you won't find anywhere else. Choose from among our spacious Hanlon and Montgomery rooms with fireplaces and a sitting area to our cozy Isabella Room or newly renovated Artist Wing Rooms (the only rooms that share a bathroom).
We've stayed here twice. Montgomery is accessible to a lot of great hiking and offroading opportunities, and there are some good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The town is charming. We've stayed twice in the Montgomery room and it's very comfortable, with its own bathroom (you have to go out of the room and into the hallway, but it's okay), The last time we stayed, they offered these weird powder pods of soap and shampoo for eco reasons. The problem is that they require you to stay in the shower longer than you ordinarily would to soap up and rinse off, so it seems like a wash from that perspective. Bring your own soap. There is a persistent smell of burnt cooking oil we noticed both times we stayed, The breakfasts are good. The house itself is very charming. Check in is contactless; you get a code to unlock the front door and unlock your room.

Very cool building on the main strip with all the shops and restaurants in the quaint little town. Also close to the park on the Hudson River. Clean and comfortable room with access to porch and private outdoor space. The owner was very accommodating as our plans had to change.
