Totally disgusted with our stay. On arrival, the spa staff were not friendly. Husband and I had a massage in the same room. Not worth the money... therapists need training. Room that we were given was great, except there were 3 screaming children. We were moved, to a room that had no view and could still hear the screaming children. No apologies from management or advisement to the person of the children to quiten down. 3 days of screaming. 7am to 7pm. No quietness!!! Made a bath one night, couldn't let the water out. Went to management who sent 2 staff with a broom to open the water outlet. Next day was advised by the 1 staff member it was fixed. No apologies from management. Made another bath, tried to let the water out... didn't work. For a 4 star place, that is expensive, one would assume that everything works.. and that management engage with their patrons. Don't go there if you want to relax and unwind. Total waste of money and too stressful. Most disappointing.

When we arrived, the welcoming was rather cold and unfriendly, however, information was given about restaurants in the vicinity. Our room, the Honeymoon Suite, was really smelly, as if it had not been ventilated for weeks. The same smell was captured in the towels in the bathroom, where there was a candle holder with candles that were completely bent, probably due to high heat, but had never been exchanged. There was a spider web on the ground next to the bath tub. The refrigerator was not clean. I would not book again.

The Wilds Guest House is situated in Hluhluwe KwaZulu-Natal in the heart of Zululand. The best way to describe our rooms is modern rustic luxury with almost all the comforts of home. Secure parking and a swimming pool are but a few mentionable features our guests can expect. The Wilds Guest House is a mere 15 min drive from the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa: Hluhluwe-Imfolozi.
We were greeted by a very well maintained facility. The gentlemen that greeted us was quick efficient and friendly. Room were very clean and well provisioned. The power went off for about two hours in the evening, but the room stayed “comfortable” until the power was restored. Unclear as to why power went out, but in morning found a emergency light outside our door so the operator was proactive.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Umkhumbi with our three young kids in the newly developed self catering chalets. Excellent accommodation in a beautiful sand forest setting. We walked and road bikes and enjoyed the amazing bird life and animals. Special birds including Neergards Sunbird and Woodward’s Batis. Missed the Narina Trogon, Green Malkoha and African Broadbill but will definitely return for another stay. Anton and Emma were great hosts and Anton’s reptile exhibition an eye opener and something we will all remember. Kids didn’t want to leave and neither did we!! Couldn’t recommend the place enough.

Lovely Cottages, friendly staff and a great view. The accommodation is just a couple of hundred meters away from the main road and well marked. It’s a great place if you want to visit the Hluluwe National park.

We have 4 self-catering suites and 1 bed and breakfast. However, we can do bed and breakfast across all suites. Additional meals are available on request.
A very centrally placed guest house. The hostess was welcoming, informative and helpful. The room was charming but certain small things were overlooked. The coffee had hardened in the jar. We would return.

Perfect Location supposed to be Five Star, and a really special holiday for our Family and Grandchildren after being separated for two years. Nothing worked in this place, they were not expecting us, it was filthy, we couldn’t unpack, it was a non smoking place and every bedroom had cigarette stumps in it and the place was vile with the smell of smoke. Offered a gas BBQ and a charcoal one. Either had seen a clean in months. The roof leaked all over the house and eventually tripped the electricity. The cost of the place was expensive, so we expected a lot more for our money. We were told by the owner that @£&! Happens, and then when we quietly complained he asked us why did we come to a place we obviously could not afford??? But he received his money in £’s and was paid the full amount in advance. What a shocking defamatory comment. On leaving we were given a checkout time of 10.30 and the cleaning staff arrived at 7.30, and we could not even have breakfast, let alone pack up. We asked for some form of compensation this has called on deaf ears and Booking.com could not give a continental. They are just happy to play pass the parcel. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy let alone my friends. Andrew Smale you need to do some serious DIY and get a personality transplant and also some people skills. I would have rather slept in my car.

My wife used to be a travel agent and we have travelled far and wide and we can honestly both say that our Stay at Imani Silver Sky Chalet was outstanding and value for money. From the moment we booked and our interaction with Kennedy we were very impressed. The accommodation is comfortable with all the necessary attention to detail within the cottage. The walks in the reserve were awesome and we got up close with some Nyalas, Zebras, A Giraffe and even a Black Necked Cobra. On Sunday morning at 2am we heard “pitter patter” on the roof and when outside to investigate, only to be welcomed by two very cute bushbabies or were more than happy to share a banana with us. Between the splash pool and the Aircon the stifling heat was driven away and after our photos were uploaded to Facebook, many friends and family members have indicated that they two want to experience the “Imani Adventure” Well done and 5 stars !!!
