In the small village of Escoubes-Pouts, close to Lourdes and its airport, stay in old renovated farm: 4 very confortable ensuites, a relaxing space and well being, an authentic home cooking to enjoy and a warm welcome. Everything is there : It is La Bigourd’in ....
Late review sorry! We stayed here in July 2018 with our family - grandparents, husband and 2 small kids travelling from Australia. One of the best trips any of have done. Effortlessly organised, reliable accommodation, good English. Saw the tour de France and ate the most amazing food and wine served by our hosts. Yvette and Gerard were the most lovely of hosts. They had a gentle dog Jodi our children played with. The rooms were spacious and immaculately kept. Great local tips, worth every penny. Would go back again in a heart beat. Thanks for such a special memory for our family xx

We found hair and fuzz on the bread, it was really disgusting. The food was also nothing special, crepes done with raw egg and chocolate sirup. Terrible crepes, we had high expectations being in France Honestly I would recommend to avoid this place

This is a lovely little hotel with comfortable rooms and welcoming hosts. The big bonus is the restaurant which serves great food. My kids loved the pool. It was the perfect place to cool off after a long bike ride. The only thing that could have been better was ceiling fans or air conditioning in the rooms. We stayed in August and it was very hot. The little portable fans provided were just not up to the job.

What a lucky find, the owners are really friendly, the veiws are amazing, very clean, I say yes for two days and on the second day returned to find new sheets and everthing even cleaner than I'd left it. I don't usually do reviews but I thought this place was definatly worth a mention and with free flight transfers the price was fantastic.

We have been following the Tour de France and before catching up with them at Bagneres de Luchon we stayed at Lou Lombres. It was very comfortable, clean and welcoming and the proprietor was very helpful. You will need a bit of French though! They have several rooms and also have a farm where the cows' milk is used for cheese making ( excellent cheese ) and the whey goes to free range pigs which eventually become sausages. They are in a very small village so we had to travel to a nearby restaurant for our evening meal. Breakfast was continental. They were kind enough to insist that our open car was parked in a barn.

LE closier is a fully refurbished 17th century former coacing inn which has been fully restored retaining the original beams and stone walls to create a wondefully relaxed bed and breakfast accommodation. The blend of old and new has been carefully matched to provide a spacious and light interior. We have 4 rooms three of which can sleep up to 4 persons. The 4th room is a double room. Upon request we can provide evening meals.
The hosts and their friendly dog have a lovely B&b with spacious comfortable rooms, good breakfasts, and great advice for exploring the nearby Pyrennes sights and towns. They were overly gracious and accommodating to our one year old daughter. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area

In a small village in 3km of Heavy, 5 rooms(chambers) with bathroom and toilets, with table d'hote in the farm in a house of character, surrounded with a big green and quiet park. Magnificent view(sight) on the chain(channel) of Pyrenees. A lounge(show) with tv and library(bookcase) is at your disposal. Trampoline and swing will delight your children, in summer you can take advantage of the swimming pool. The dinners in the table d'hote are developed with the products of the farm (chickens, ducks, vegetables, as well as the breakfasts (yoghurts, jams, cake stores(pastries)).
Great experience, very nice hosts. Good food, the lady is a gifted cook and baker. Quiet place, a B&B within a farmhouse, at a very reasonable price. Beware, no TV in the room, there is one at the common room.

The place itself is very beautiful. Well kept and quite clean. Unfortunately their customer service was lacking. We were invited to dinner and we texted them back asking if they had any vegetarian meal options. The host did not get back to us at all all day and finally gave us an answer after she had done groceries and arrived to the place. She said the vegetarian meal would not be good and by this time, all the places in town were closed. I had to go to bed hungry. Second incident was that I left my toiletries at this place, and when I realized I had my friend who speaks french contact them immediately and there was no response til days later. They said it was there and when he asked them when he could pass by they never gave him a response. Such a shame. I’m so sad and disappointed in this kind of service.
