The sHome Hotel, which opened in 2017, is located in the south of Graz not far from the Puntigam brewery and Austria's second largest shopping center, the Shoppingcity Seiersberg. In addition to the line and city bus stop directly in front of the hotel, the Graz-Puntigam train station with bus, train and tram connections is only a few minutes' walk away. Whether you stroll through the Graz old town, visit the friendly alien or take a journey back in time to the Middle Ages to explore the castle and the Graz Schloßberg. You can be in the center in just a few minutes thanks to the excellent transport links. Should you ever want to leave the city, you can reach the enchanting Southern Styria with its picturesque vineyards or Upper Styria without having to change trains, for example to go on a hike through the famous Bärnschützklamm. Our modern rooms offer free and fast internet (WiFi). To make the evenings cozy in front of the television, we offer almost 100 TV programs as well as a comprehensive Sky package with sports, series and films. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day - that's why we offer you a rich breakfast buffet with exquisite and regional ingredients. This is the perfect way to start the day. As a guest in our house, you can of course park for free outdoors or in the underground car park. For electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, there are charging stations available both outdoors and in the underground car park.
Unexpectedly good hotel!
Reviewed By stormblessdWe visited Graz for shopping and some private business in December and, due to late booking missed out on some other hotels in downtown. As parking matters and we prefer quiet places to stay at, we opted for the sHome hotel in Graz. We were surprised to find out the hotel has no staff in the afternoon but this proved our to be the fastest check in we ever had! On entry, to a modern building in Puntigam/Graz which is easily accessible from the Pyrhn Autobahn, we found an electronic “desk” waiting for us :) Enter the reservation code, press few keys and - voila! The keys are in our hands and we slowly descend into a well illuminated subterranean parking. Few seconds up with an elevator and we reached a clean, nicely smelling hotel lobby and our room. The room/apartment was separated into a living room with kitchen, dining table and seating area converted into a large and comfortable bed, bedroom with a king size bed and a separate walk in closet as well as a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Complimentary Nespresso, delicious tee, overall airy and roomy atmosphere and a feeling you’re in your own apartment away from home really impressed us. Breakfast time brought smiling and polite staff and a hearty breakfast from a very well stocked buffet. Checkout was a breeze and we were allowed to leave our car in parking several hours longer as a compliment from the hotel. If you’re visiting Graz and wish a spatious, clean, comfortable and quiet, modern place to stay and need parking - there are very few other places you can choose but we recommend this one! Btw, bus stop is 10 m from the hotel and taxi is quite affordable reaching downtown after a leisurely 10 min drive. Warmly recommended!

Reviewed By Nadejda SVery nice Hotel in the suburbs of Graz, the location is compensated by a good public transport to the city center. Very clean and cosy rooms. The staff is great - very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast, but the restaurant is closed sometimes in the evening. There is a nice pub/restaurant in a short walking distance anyway.

Reviewed By Safari57699372477This place is gem. We wanted to stay near our son who is studying in Graz and we found this wonderful Gasthof. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s on a market square and just a short walk to the old town. The rooms all have unique design. Ours was large, recently renovated, and modern amenities, but still with a strong sense of place. Our friend who traveled with us had an even more special room. I want to go back to stay in all the rooms. The restaurant was great. We had our best dish here (pumpkin seed Schnitzel) from all of our travels in Austria. But the best part was the warm and friendly staff. When they found out we were leaving before breakfast on our last day, they insisted on packing us a wonderful to-go bag.

Got a flat for the price of a bedroom
Reviewed By davcos22I was very amazed by the fact that my bedroom had a kitchenette fully equiped, they dont have reception 24/7 but the sistem to get into the hotel was very easy to understand. Very clean, good breakfast, friendly people in great location, one of the best hotels for the price i paid. Certanly coming back to stay here!

Reviewed By reise21atWe came here for dinner and I had beef - it was only average quality. The side dishes were also not too exciting. However the outdoor seating is really nice in the summer. Nevertheless it seems to be one of the better Wirtshaus here in the area - the other ones are even worse.

Worst place ever
Reviewed By stephanie dBooked for 4 nights, stayed for 1 hour and left. Had to travel 2 hours to get another hotel but didn't care , the further away from this filthy dirty place the better. The rooms smell appalling, urine stains on the carpet which was dirty already. Beds were dirty, saw insects on the sheets. No hair dryer, gels, dirty shower, no air con. The grounds are run down and tatty, area is derelict. I recommend you avoid this poor excuse of a hotel.

A good surprise near the center of Graz, since it still benefits from free transportation (one station from the center in every direction, as we've been told at the hotel).
