Third stay in this delightful hotel for skiing in Ischgl by 15 minute ski bus journey. Food, service ,room and spa area exhibit understated quality which is why so many guests return year and year. I would prefer to keep it a secret. Daily soup at 4pm after a day on the mountain is a just reward . 250m from ski bus stop. Christian and Sabine , the owners, demonstrate genuine Austrian hospitality.

My son came to this restaurant some days earlier and recommended this restaurant for the view and the food: we had a delicious local speciality: Kaiserschmarren: sugared pancace with raisins and compote: guten appetit!

We had 2 really nice weeks this year at this nice hotel! It has a familiar air about it, nice rooms and one of the best half pension dinners I have ever had! We have fallen in love with this little family driven hotel. It is like coming to visit good friends when you arrive. The hotel is 5 minuets bus ride from to the skiing area placed with a panoramic view towards south. And with walking distance to the village center. Not far from the local mountain museum.

We invite you to enjoy our Tyrolean hospitality while you explore the natural playground of our alpine environment. The Galtürerhof is a family built & run hotel, established in 1984 by Sonja & Gotthard Salner, and taken over in 2020 by their son Daniel and his NZ wife Emily. Overview • Located centrally in an elevated & quiet spot in the village (2 minutes walk to the ski- and hiking buses) • All rooms with full morning sun, balconies and a spectacular view • Children very welcome and gladly catered for • Dog friendly • Fresh and regional products for breakfast and dinner • Free access to the spa, including sauna, infrared cabin, steam room and relaxing zone (charge applies for robes, use of fresh water whirlpool and solarium) • Easy-access ski/sports storage room with boot dryers We aim to provide you with a cosy home in the alps while you are adventuring through the Paznauan valley, the Silvretta Ranges, the Verwall mountains or the summits of the samnaun group in Switzerland. The Galtürerhof is a small hotel with 18 rooms offering bed and breakfast or half pension dining. Our apartments can also be self catered. We enjoy a peaceful location on the edge of the village center. A short 150m walk takes you to the bus stop for the free ski bus to Galtür, as well as bus connections to the neighbouring villages of Ischgl, Kappl and See and beyond to the train station at Landeck/Zams. In summer the buses are for free throughout the entire valley up to the Bielerhöhe and the Zeinisjoch with the Silvretta Card. Emily, Daniel and the Galtürerhof team are looking forward to welcoming you.
Recently acquired by Daniel and Emily from his parents, this traditional Austrian lodge is a great way to spend your winter amongst the stunning, quaint and family friendly town of Galtur. Only 5-10 minutes from Ischgl but without the party atmosphere. The hospitality is warm and welcoming and the delicious and wholesome, traditional Austrian meals are expertly cooked by Daniel’s brother Fabian. Enjoy entertaining bar service each evening with Walter who will ensure you are well “lubricated”. Take advantage of the phenomenal off piste guiding and ski instruction of the Silvretta Guides of which Daniel is an integral part of the team - all based out of the Galturerhof. Patrik, Anna, Roland and Matthias make up the rest of the expert ski guide team. Enjoy an evening soak each night in the hot tub with mineral salts or revitalise your muscles after a day of skiing in the dry or wet sauna at the onsite Wellness centre. Participate in yoga sessions run by Emily to stretch out those tired ski legs. Galturerhof is also host to arguably the best focussed ski instruction programme in the world run by Klaus Mair “Sofa ski school” - individualised ski training for recreational intermediate-advanced skiers. All in all, Galturerhof has a lot to offer and will keep you coming back for more. Keep an eye out for plans to further expand the facilities in the coming years.

First impressions were very good. A lovely lady checked us in. Nice looking sociable bar area. Rooms were nice and comfortable, with a good sized shower room. Unfortunately things went down hill at the bar before dinner. There was no Prossecco, no Aperol Spritz and no Gin ! We were just told that as we were in Austria what did we expect ! I have visited Austria over 20 times and never experienced this attitude ( or this lack of alcohol ! ) The food was good generally but our whole experience was ruined by the extremely rude and unhelpful hotel manager. It seems he hated us on sight just because we were from the UK and we were treated appallingly every time we had to have any dealings with him. It is quite obvious that he is in the wrong profession. It was without doubt the worst hospitality I have ever experienced.

With a bus journey of more than an hour from Landeck railway station, its a bit of a trek to get to Galtur but well worth the effort. Very dramatic scenery and the Alpina was very welcoming. It was one of the few hotels still open in mid September, and what a find it proved to be . I've been on several hiking holidays in Austria, but the food at this family-run hotel was certainly the best. I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Hotel Landle offers comfortable rooms and apartments for 2 to 4 persons, all with half board. There are cosy dining and recreation rooms in the hotel, which invite you to linger. We spoil you with an extensive breakfast buffet, three different main dishes in the evening, a salad buffet and weekly changing Austrian speciality menus. Enjoy our culinary delights and the typical Tyrolean hospitality that was simply born in our cradle. Our cosy hotel is only 100 metres from the ski bus stop. With the free bus you can easily reach Austria's most beautiful ski areas. The cross-country ski trail leads directly past the hotel in Galtür. Perfect start! It is also not far from the town centre: you are in the middle of Galtür in only five minutes on foot. In the house there is also a fitness room, an infrared cabin and sauna as well as a table tennis table - we wish you good relaxation and lots of fun!
We got moved here due to our hotel over booking. While a time machine would be fun this was not. The room apart from the furniture was ok but really not something you felt like touching. The restaurant was simply terrible. I could give your more detail but it was just so bad that it would be a waist of words. We left hungry. But hey, morning is a new day, maybe the breakfast will be better. Sadly for us no. It was just, well, sad. No choice, and what there was was of low quality. Oh, and before I forget, they do have internet, but it costs 3 Euros and only works in the reception area (or at least that is what we were told as we did not donate the 3 Euros to try). Simply put. Just go some where else, and if your hotel moves you here just say no.

Six in our group stayed in this lovely friendly family run Hotel in Galtur. We joined in the Verwahl March a yearly event, very proud of our 5 Silver and 1 Gold medals. We had an excellent time, nothing was too much trouble. It really felt like home. The Hotel is next to the Indoor Pool and Sports centre.
