This region is home to 700 miles of coastline and 90 islands, including Fyn, the third largest island in Denmark. Also known as "Funen," this attractive island of thatched farmhouses, myriad beaches, forests, beaches and grassland offers gorgeous Kattegat and Baltic views. The most popular spot is quirky Odense, birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen, but don't miss Ladby's Viking ship grave, where the remains of a 72-foot longship, burial site of a 10th-century Viking chieftain, have been excavated.

You can truly relax at this place. We also have 100Mbit free wifi internet, so that you can be connected to the outside world if you prefer. We look forward to see you.
The view from this bed&breakfast will calm you down instantly. Good beds and clean rooms. Nice atmosphere with bar and pool table in the basement. Note that this refurbished former nursinghome is not your regular hotel but they focus on what they do and do it well. Very kind and hard working staff. There is not a restaurant but they serve good breakfast and one three course menu every night. We had dinner once and it was delicious including the wines. Wifi is good. when I visit Aeroe again, this is where I will stay

The room is nice, clean with much space. The breakfast was also a very filling breakfast, plus it was super tasty! The owner Brian was really friendly and understanding. Even though I came later, than expected and checked out one hour later. You could also ask him anything and he helped me to carry up my luggage. Unfortunately it was quite far away from the city center and the public transportation isn't really good in Odense. So I had to walk all the way with my heavy luggage. I also didn't feel really welcome, since I came later and I almost missed breakfast, since I wasn't sure, if he always notified me, when there's breakfast. Since I couldn't speak Danish I felt quite secluded in the yard, so I recommend solo travellers to eat breakfast in their rooms. He also didn't give my money back? But it was a small amount of Krones and I made a lot of mistakes on my first B&B....

Kerteminde Bed & Breakfast Hotel We are located on the waterfront to the sea, the old and new renaissance harbour’s and in the heart of the very old fishing town Kerteminde on the island Fünen.
Once you like seagulls, a slight breeze and a warm atmosphere - this is definitely the place to stay. The house is a gem and so is Miriam. The charming character conserved over the years. A shared bathroom is hard to find these days, but did not make us feel uncomfortable. Some like it, some don't. We stayed overnight and were lucky to have booked way in advance - it'll be on our list as soon as we return to DK.

Enjoy your stay in Odense!
I selected a budget room, which was adequate: clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a similar shower room. It lacked coffee making facilities and phone. TV had international channels in German and French but none in English, but also no Porn channel which I was pleased about. No lift. Breakfasts were generous and well presented, but the hot course was only warm. Most clients (these were weekdays) were up from 6 a.m. and gone by 7.30. Owners and staff were helpful and spoke good English. The restaurant offered evening meals of high quality but were not cheap (My observation, I didn't take one). Enormous car park! It had function rooms and the one event whilst I was there didn't make any intrusive noise.

Having stayed in many B&Bs around Denmark, we were disappointed. On the plus side: the location in the village of Faldsled, close to a small harbour, is very nice. The large breakfast and sitting room at the end of the building is bright and pleasant, and so is the conference room on the first floor. We were lucky to be the only guests that night, and enjoyed the peace and quiet in the common rooms. However, with 29 beds in total, conditions may be rather different during busier periods. And here is the catch. The rooms are just too small for anything but sleeping. At about 21 m2, our “family room” contained a double bed plus a bunk bed. Two hangers on the wall and a small bookcase. No closet and no room to place our luggage except on the bunkbeds. We cannot imagine how a family of 4 would manage in such a cramped space. The bathroom at barely 3 m2 needs no further description: not acceptable. We only came here because our usual B&B was fully booked. But Birkelygaard isn’t really a B&B...a hostel would be a better category. And surprisingly, the price is the same as that typically charged by “real” B&Bs.

Lovely bed and breakfast in a rural setting. Both apartments are renovated and have their own kitchen and bath.
Very clean and peaceful place, friendly and helpful hosts! Nice surroundings, the sea not far away. A perfect breakfast, freshly prepared and satisfying, served in the room. High value for your money.

Newly renovated holiday apartments in quiet surroundings in the centre af Bogense. The rooms are beautifully furnished and we receive many accolades regarding our comfortable beds and the delicious home cooked breakfasts. All our guests are welcome to use the cozy garden. We are in walking distance to restaurants and shops and only five minutes to the harbour, beach, woods and golf course.

Welcome to Lunds Hotel. We are a small family run hotel located in the harbor of the old town Bogense, on the top of the island Fyn.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. If you think it's pricey, don't let that put you off - you will not regret it. Great location, wonderful breakfast, lovely rooms, friendly, easy going hosts. And they have face-cloths! (So few hotels provide them).
