I literally loved my tent up there on the terrace, it was exactly what I had been hoping to have. Wonderful view from the tent over the terrace and towards the sea. It was comfortable even though the space was not that big, but I was alone so there were no problems with anything. I liked the breakfast too, nice to sit there and enjoy life. Wifi worked really well. Staff friendly and very helpful. Location was good too, so there is nothing at all to complain about. I recommend this Riad to anyone thinking of booking it. Disliked · The weather could have been better, would have been nicer with the blue sky, but of course it is not wrong of the Riad.

Stayed for a couple nights after a three week non stop travel through Morocco. Was exactly what I needed to relax. Riad was beautiful, room was excellent and service and meals were top notch. The beach, Portugeuse city and cistern are a ten minute walk. The owner happened to be there and arranged a private vehicle to pick me up to take me to Casablanca on my last day. Can’t say enough. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely come back. Merci beaucoup!

Located in the countryside, between the ocean and the eucalyptus forest, with an astonishing view on the El Jadida town (7 km far), our guesthouse is surrounded by a 15.000 m2 garden and offers 5 rooms, all of them different, with private bathrooms. At the same time modern and traditionally decorated, it will provide you a very peaceful stay.
Highly recommended. Fantastic place to stay if you happen to pass by El Jadida or work in Casablanca and want to spend a week-end in country side. The place is very quite, has a big and well maintained garden and you can hear the sound of the waves. The house is full of charm, has lots of space and comfortable areas where to relax. Fatima, the owner, made sure that all our needs were fulfilled. Besides managing our stay attentively and professionally, she also happens to be a very good cook so make sure to have dinner if you stay there.

The first charming hotel in the old portuguese city of El Jadida. L'Iglesia is a converted 19th century Spanish church, now decorated in a 1940s/50s style, overlooking the ocean and the old portuguese city, and also a seperate wing of the property is housed in the former US consulate, where the restaurant is located (with a large terrace next to the remparts). The hotel has an amazing view and each room has a different decoration.
Our three days in El Jadida was after the summer season, but it was well worth the visit, our last three days of our three-week Moroccan itinerary. We stayed at L'Iglesia, a former Portuguese church, right in the historic Portuguese Citadel, with the Atlantic Ocean in view. The hotel is comprised of two buildings--the church itself and another architecturally beautiful historic building nearby. The furnishings were authentic Art Deco and mid-century chairs, couches, and lighting, of incredible intrinsic value. There was a vast collection of fabulous vintage radios and stunning hanging fixtures and chandeliers. The sheets and pillowcases on my bed were hand embroidered. An early morning visit to the Portuguese Cistern is a highlight of a visit to El Jadida, with the sun streaming in and creating rainbow decorations everywhere. A walk on the promenade and on the beach is also wonderfully exhilarating, with the salt air on your face and the warm waves on your feet. On one of our days, we took a taxi to Azemmour, a small town on the river. There were beautiful alleys and fantastic murals at every turn. We then took a taxi to the Mazagan Beach Resort, where we had a delicious lunch at Oasis, the outdoor cafe near the pool. The small Medina in El Jadida was very authentic, with local shoppers taking care of their errands. Al Bahri, a local seafood restaurant right across from the central square and the citadel, was a perfect choice for dinner. Soup, large salads and amazing grilled sardines were all delicious. Our three-day visit to El Jadida was a great way to end our Moroccan adventure.

I booked a trip to El Jadida to visit my family. Due to the requirements I had to select a hotel to travel. My family found that it was fine for me to stay with them during my travels and I asked the hotel to please be kind enough to cancel my 13 day booking but they refused. I found this to be a poor business practice even though the policy said no refund. Circumstances change but this man was very money hungry and not compromising at all. Their communication is also poor as well as providing directions. My Arabic husband even spoke with this man and he still refused to refund even a small portion of my funds. This is a very inhumane and greedy establishment. I wouldn't recommend at all. I lost $200. I also noticed that the bed is just a cost. Low budget. Do not book here.

With a 31 hours in Morocco, we decided to take the train south to El Jadida. We found Hotel Centre Ville. Everyone was very nice and the food at the restaurant was really good. It's decently close to Cité Portugaise.

Beautiful road located right in the middle of El Jadida. Within walking distance to the cistern. It is located on a pedestrian only road, but if you contact the hotel before arrival they will tell you where to park. The staff were attentive and made sure our room was ready for our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the spread at breakfast! The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated.

Absolutely great accomodation in Al Jadida. Absolutely beautiful in every details. Very nice and clean room, extraordinary equipped. Beautiful terrace on the top. The owner really care about you and about all your needs. Long time I was not in such extraordinary hotel. I really enjoyed to stay there. Very close to centre. You can park front of accommodation. Very safe location. Very quiet. They also offer massages and in the summer they have jacuzzi on terrace. Really gem in Al Jadida. Highly recommended. And believe me, I travel really a lot.

Beautiful XIXth century recently restored medieval Arab style with restaurant in the heart of the Portuguese City proudly presents its battlements and bulwarks face the northern ramparts. The site is classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and allows a stay immersed in the heart of Medina inhabited while enjoying benefits of very good standard.
After travelling in Morocco for three weeks this was a welcome find. Very easy to locate the Riad and a lovely welcome on arrival. We were over mint tea by then but were cheerfully given coffee instead. This Riad is in a great location for ease of access to everything but dont mistake it for beachfront. Coming from Australia i think i expected to walk out and lie on the beach. Not quite the beach for lying about but we did take the local bus out to Sidi Bouzid which was lovely. Azdin was very accommodating and pointed us in the right direction for the supermarket when he said he had no wine due to Ramadan next week. He happily chilled the wine for us to have on the rooftop. The room was tastefully decorated in Moroccan style and a nice spot to come back to at the end of the day. We were two friends travelling together and have no complaints with the room or shower. Azdin organised for a driver to take us to the airport which was very convenient and at a reduced fee. Enjoy the fresh market across the square, the biggest strawberries ever - its crazy busy but quite an experience.

Guesthouse of charm in the town of El Jadida, opposite the city portuguaise.
There is so much to love about Riad Le Mazagao! From the cute entrance door - set among the jewellers of the neighborhood - to the inviting rooftop, we were thoroughly charmed by the place. Mustafa and Mina were so thoughtful and caring. They made sure we got good parking, managed allllllllll our luggage, and kept us filled with tea and sustaining breakfasts. The entire place is decorated with warm touches everywhere. Our Zagora room was postcard-perfect. And comfortable. The rooftop with its cacti, flowers, and lamps was the perfect setting for breakfasts and sunsets. We also enjoyed the activity of the neighborhood - street markets, the catch of the day at the port, soccer on the beach, and the many tasty food vendors.
