Flamboyant is located on one of the most stunning stretches of Diani Beach. With only ten bedrooms the atmosphere is intimate and personal. The bed and breakfast comprises a mix of ocean, pool & courtyard view rooms. It has a big swimming pool which not only if perfect for a refreshing swim but serves as a great focal point. Flamboyant has a gentle, cosmopolitan and fresh vibe!
Highly recommend! We were traveling for field work so we needed a quiet, private and affordable place and Flamboyant ticked all the boxes! The booking process was wonderful, Angela helped us choose the best room. We stayed at the Baobab we loved the lounge areas (well air conditioned) within the cottage which offered a view of the beach, perfect for catching up with work and just chill and you can walk to the beach from your room. Only downside for us was the food portions the prices are reasonable but such small servings! We didn't want to have to go outside the establishment for meals but had no choice, good news is they can pack breakfast/snacks for you (upon request) if you have an early morning. Will definitely stay here AGAIN!

We had the loveliest time here. The staff is excellent, so professional, friendly, and everything is done to a high standard always. Huge thanks to Anne for creating a wonderful environment that's so peaceful and homely. Another big thanks to Patrick who sets the standard of excellence. The chef's Justice and Juliette cater to every whim, food is great. We would recommend this for any couples, families or solo travellers in Diani. It's a gem of a place.

Stayed in the dorm room with friends on the bunk beds. The place needs some improvement. The beddings were clearly not the cleanest and the rooms needed some touch ups. There was a bathroom and toilet in the room but no water, so it was a mission to take a shower after coming from the beach and flushing the toilet! The beach is however amazing and compensated for the negative experience. The restaurant takes time to deliver the food but the overall experience was satisfactory. The live band on Sunday afternoon was entertaining and the place gets busy with locals.

We stayed at Aqua Resort for 3 nights. Really amazing place, has a well built pool thats perfect for some relaxation and to enjoy the waters. This place is a sweat deal for the cost of stay per night. Places of improvement 1. Wifi strength, it was weak in our house, not thatwe came for wifi anyway. 2. The shower water was very salty. Unsure if this is a thing with beach properties but we ended up having to buy water for brushing.

We booked a trip to Kenya at short notice for Christmas and after climbing Mount Kenya wanted somewhere to relax on the beach. Kinondo Poa Resort was absolutely perfect for what we wanted and the only downside was we were only there for a week! Situated on Galu beach, which is almost deserted, and leads onto the busier Diani beach, there are 8 bungalows situated in gardens and around a lovely pool area. The food was fantastic, we tended to have breakfast and lunch at the resort and then head towards Diani Beach for dinner, with a wide variety of local and western dishes. The thing that really set Kinondo Poa apart was the service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, either before we arrived with airport transfers and throughout our stay. For a perfect Kenya beach holiday, I can’t recommend Kinondo Poa more!

A party of nine, with a mix of adults and teens, we had a great stay at Coco-De-Ville. The house is well-located and spacious. There’s a lovely swimmingpool and the veranda is great for eating al fresco or lounging in the shade. The stunning, wide, white Galu beach is only a few minutes walk away along a lush access path that crosses the quiet Diani beach road. Diani’s restaurants and night spots are a few minutes taxi or tuk-tuk ride away and Ukunda air strip a 10-15 minute drive. The staff and host were very accomodating and helpful. All in all, a great house for a coastal getaway, suitable for groups of friends or families.

The perfect place to enjoy Diani Beach at its full. The villa is surrounded by a paradisiacal garden with a magnificent swimming pool and with private access to the beach. Close to all important amenities like banks, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, we also provide a 24 hours menu prepared by our friendly chef Anthony. WiFi is available for free as well as great personal assistance by the your host Esther, who can help you with all activities, tours, safaris and any other assistance you may need. Feel welcome and enjoy your stay
The hotel is under new management and doesn’t acknowledge any booking through hotels.com or booking.com. It was hard to find and we were disappointed and turned away to scramble for a place amid high season in Diani.

750 m to the beach, in close proximity to supermarkets, shop, bars, restaurants, etc. Small, private complex consisting of only 4 cozy, well-equipped apartments (with air conditioning!), pool and beautiful, lovely garden full of flowers. Each of the individually designed appartments has its own entrance and private, shady terracce with view the beautiful garden.
This was my third visit to Frangipani. This time I was placed in the Hibiscus cottage. I prefer the Mnazi cottage for technical reasons. My stay was again very good despite the few deficiencies of Hibiscus room. I can recommend this place to persons who want value for money and not spent a fortune and who like privacy
