A room the size of a postage stamp, next to a skip company who starts up with their airguns at 6am, a shower that has no other setting than nuclear or icebox, absolutely Zero food offerings other than a drab pre-bagged breakfast, and in a really $hitty part of town (then again, the whole of Croydon is a dump). Staff who dont converse, or even seem to care about any level of customer service. Not a pleasant place, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Step inside OYO Flexistay Addiscombe's conventional Edwardian exterior and you'll discover a distinctly modern experience. Our rooms are elegantly designed with minimalist wall decor and comfortable wooden furniture and the same understated theme continues through our shared areas. You can make yourself at home with a communal kitchen, laundry room, lounge and a dining room. And, if you fancy dining out, there are several restaurants just minutes away.
ATTENTION - DONT BOOK - BEDBUGS When I check in my room I realised that the toilet's lid was broken so i try to find the 24/7 reception girl to inform her about it, when i finally found her (2 days after) she told me that she will come to check it but she never came. the third night of my stay i wake up at night and saw a bed bug moving on my bed near my face . I was shocked i couldnt sleep . at about 6 oclock i go outside the front door to call he reception and i also realised that the external door was ulnocked. she answered the phone and she was listening but not speaking so i told her 'please help me i want to change room , i found a bed bug i cant sleep", after an hour a call her again and the same listening but not speaking i was waiting till 9 o clock and I went to the kitchen for having breakfast and the fridge was almost empty, only bacon and juices were in it. THERE WERE some people seems like homeless were eating there. after a few minutes she came and told me that i will change room, finally i changed room at 12 oclock. no sleeping at all for so many hours Also i asked her why the external door was unlocked, its not SAFE for visitors because anyone could enter the building, . she told me that she dont know why that happened and she locked the door afterwards. The girl seems not to care about the condition provided for the visitors . Next morning (check out day) I go for breakfast at about 9 oclock , for one more day there were no bread no eggs. the kitchen was in a very bad condition all four rubbish bins were overfloated and there was a black trash bag on the floor also at the kitchen bench (where cereals were ) there were someones clothes from the laudry propably dirty , food is placed in this bench , its unhealthy, these conditions can cause many microbes. I dont know if the apparthotel is certifiied by iso 45000 for health and safety but for sure there is no health and safety conditions for visitors.

The hotel hotel should be shut down, it disgusting degrading dirty, filthy blanket the place doesn't cater for a disabled person even though I emailed twice with no response of having a ground floor. On arrival I was forced to mount about 20 steps by the time I got up to the box room I was tired and breathlessness ? shortly after I needed to use the toilet there was **** on the floor which I nearly slipped. The bed room bed cover had **** on it, it was smelly like someone had *** in there. The room smelt stagnant, I didn't wash in bathroom needed to get back to the hospital fast. This place seems like a knocking shop. No to crystal hotel.

After a 2 hour journey to the property booked through booking.com we arrived at 5pm. The guy on reception could not understand us. The hotel smelt of smoke and damp. He told us his colleague had given our room to someone else even though we booked it. We were offered a room with a double bed and a single bed but the toilet was broken. There were used tissues in the bin and the room was very dirty with sticky dirty carpets. The curtain was hanging off the pole. We were given a toilet to use down the hall in an empty single room. Breakfast was included but we were not told what time breakfast was but another person staying there told us it consisted of a slice of toast and a cup of tea. We was offered a refund after we complained but there was nowhere else to stay at short notice so we had no choice but to stay there. I would rather sleep in a prison, at least it would be clean. Booking.com should not advertise this property on their site.

We stayed for 2 nights for a visit to Brands Hatch - around 30 minutes away. The location is very good, close to amenities but very quiet - we slept with the window open all night and didn't hear a thing. Room was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, both for choice and quality of food. Matt was an excellent host and made our stay just about perfect.

The room is a good size, very basic but clean. There is only a basin in the room, but there are shower-rooms and loos just down the corridor for communal use. Breakfast is self-service, with bread, milk, cereal & fruit in plentiful supply. There is a fridge & microwave available if you want to bring in your own food. The member of staff who checked us in/out was friendly. The hotel is quiet, as is the road upon which it is situated. It is a perfect place to use as a base for visiting London and as a place to sleep. A few DIY tweaks could go a long way to taking it up a notch, but otherwise it is good value for money.

London is very expensive so £140 or so for two nights is not so bad. But the room was very hot, stuffy and noisy so not very good for sleeping. It was mostly clean although there were some unsightly stains on the wall. The outer double glazing pane was shattered when I arrived. We baled out late evening on the second night as we had a better offer! It's very handy for Norbury Station.
