This hotel reminded me of the good ol' motel days. The room was perfectly adequate and clean. The shower had good power and the bed was comfy. The staff was awesome and they had the best breakfast of our whole 2 week trip. Town is less than a 5 min. walk. Stay here, you won't be sorry.

We will be back! Truly, our visit booked since April 2019 but delayed due to the pandemic, was a piece of Heaven on Earth. Our hostess, Mary, is a beautifully kind spirit going the extra mile for her guests at Whitestrand B&B. From the fabulous breakfasts each morning to the immaculate rooms and the amazing Irish countryside draped in emerald green framed by the blue of the Atlantic, we could not have asked for more. Sheep and cows lazily grazing within feet of bedroom windows and paths made for the quintessential Irish experience. In walking distance to the local eatery, pub and store, our group of five adults from age 20 to 56 always felt safe and welcome by all the lovely residents! Thank you, Mary Houghton for making us fall in love with Whitestrand B&B and Malin Head, Ireland. We will be back!

Clean and tidy guesthouse. Friendly and professional staff. Check-in was quick and efficient. The owner proposed to help us with dinner reservation, and gave us good recommendations. 15 min walking distance to Donegal city centre (3 min driving). Room is old fashioned but clean. Excellent breakfast buffet (just missed an expresso). Car park just in front with plenty of spaces.

10 Minute drive from Donegal Town, Harvey's Point Hotel and Solis Castle Hotel. Our spacious family-run home is on the Letterkenny & Ballybofey Road N15, left side. Credit Cards accepted. Breakfast Menu available with home baking and special diets catered for. Biddy's Famous Pub on our doorstep and a choice of excellent restaurants in nearby Donegal Town.
Immaculately clean home. Warm and friendly hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. Splendid breakfasts. Easy to find, great location for exploring the area. Loved it. As an amputee, I was delighted by the shower /wet room. This was (perhaps weirdly!) the cherry on the cake for me. Its the little things ?

We were upgraded here after booking the hostel next door, and Jack made our stay so comfortable and welcoming from the get go. We were given a 6 person room between 3 of us which was clean comfortable and cosy. When we asked where we could go for food, Jack offered to make us up a portion of pasta bolognoise which was such a treat and so delicious. Great location and very much a home from home with a brilliant host. Highly recommended!

Don and his wife were amazing hosts! The location is so perfect and lovely. The scenery you get from here is worth a million dollars. Everything was really clean and had everything we needed. The shower was amazing! They have a selection of cereals and coffee in the morning. Super friendly service and will be recommending to everyone we know.

Friendly welcome. Reasonable selection of food for lunch & dinner. Our room was on the ground floor — shower worked well. Loved the bar and the very friendly locals. The hotel is next to the ferry and has lovely harbour views — something to do with a house that disappeared !!

Initially I wasn’t sure I’d be hanging around for breakfast but with the Atlantic weather creeping in I ordered last minute, the room was very comfy and modern and the bathroom was ideal just for me, the driveway a bit precarious with a motorbike but I wasn’t the only biker bedding down there for the night. I woke up warm and refreshed and wow I was soooo unprepared for the feast that was a full cooked breakfast and continental style buffet galore xx The staff were really lovely and I would defo add it to my list of must recommend highly places to stop over some amazing views just around the corner !!

The room was airy and spacious, the property quiet. It is right off the main highway but on a side road to a beach, so not noisy. A problem with the shower temp control was addressed right away. Very friendly folks, and an outside cat that appeared aloof but actually loved attention. Hot breakfast unlike some places. Mmm, the TV was tiny, rather incongrous in the spacious room. Just like 10 minutes into Donegal, where there is an actual Mexican restaurant among other things.
