Reviewed By Helen BWe were searching the history of the New Zealand Secondary Expedition Force in WW2, and had booked this as a run into Cassino. This was a very old laundry.RIGHT beside the church, but thank heavens the bells ceased at 10pm! Not always the case on this trip. Perched way up on the hillside, the view over the village and the mountains were spectacular. A very modern refurbished room with excellent bed and ensuite. In the dining room, the old stone marble wash troughs are still in situ! Along with old photos of the time! The owner waited for us! That was excellent, AND set us up for dinner in the local restaurant. Next morning had breakfast laid out early for us as we had to be on the road early. WARNING - do you not let your GPS take you to the address, or you will never arrive. Communicate with the hotel and find the easy way. We ended up in very very narrow old street, that we had to reverse out of to get back to the hotel. Everything about this hotel was outstanding!!!

Rooms are absolutely amazing, stayed there twice!!! Had dinner there - twice!!! Breakfast - twice!!! Even when our flight was delayed and we arrived late, the staff waited for us to check in and offered a meal and bottle of wine in the lounge area! Every little detail is PERFECT!!!! We will be back for sure again and again.

Reviewed By 365NateP2017Easy access and comfortable stay. Was also nice and quiet during our stay. Especially enjoyed the restaurant connected to the front of the hotel - quite a few people dining during the week (which is a good sign) and as a pizza snob found their pizza to be excellent! We'll be traveling Italy again next year and will be staying here again.

Great stay
Reviewed By garry rWe stayed four nights at the Postale. When we arrived to commemorate the twinning of our town of Kentville with Castel di Sangro and the battle our West Novas fought there we were made to feel very welcome immediately seeing our Nova Scotia flag positioned above the Apostale entrance. We were greated by the owner and luggage immediately taken to our rooms. Our room was spotless with a view and the bathroom was very modern. We slept like logs each night as the cool evening breeze came in. Every morning we were treated to an espresso or two as though our mind was read before leaving our room. We were met with a smile and the best pastries, fresh fruit, hams and cheese etc . each morning. We were a group of nine and we could not have found a better place to call home while in Italy. Thank you for your amazing hospitality. We will return.

Superfriendly place to stay
Reviewed By Vieri1671House is a modern one and area is typically residential. Not the best for ones, like me, who love settling in old buildings. But stay was indeed very pleasant, owner made much more than own obligations to give the best available. That is very much, considering a very friendly price. A common room with hustle and other games are available and very much appreciated by kids. If short of budget and traveling in beautiful Abruzzo a stop is compulsory.
