Lovely pousada to stay in while in Cananéia
Reviewed By PaiviKristiinaThis was a great find for accomodation. Absolutely loved it. Rooms were comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, everything worked; air conditioning, Wi-fi, showers. Pousada is nicely located on a side street, so you can´t hear the traffic noise, but still you are very close to the centre of Cananéia and the harbour. The owners have made the surroundings of the pousada beautiful with lots of flowers and plants around it. What also makes this place unique is it´s owners. Maria and Marcio are very devoted to their customers and you can feel it in the service you receive. We got great tips and hints from them on what to do in the area and felt warmly welcome. On one of the nights on our stay we had a dinner at the pousada´s restaraunt, which was excellent. Good atmosphere and service made the culinary experience even better . Maria and Marcio really give their time to their customers and to the service and this really helps to put you in the holiday mood. In my opinion the pousada was like pleasant oasis, and it met all the expectations on what I had concerning the accomodation. Good laughs & memories! I can highly recommend this pousada during your stay in Cananéia, if you want comfortable, care-free stay, with good price for the money. Thank you! Muito obrigada Maria e Marcio!

Reviewed By Jule2008Great location, very nice staff, clean room. We stayed in room 22 and the air conditioning made a lot of noise. I noticed that the upper rooms had different devices that didn't make so much noise. I hope it is in their plans to change this. Also I would suggest black out curtains in the room since the luminosity inside of it is huge as of the sunrise!

Great spot for a birding trip to Cananiea
Reviewed By 2305greggsWe stayed here for two nights as part of a guided birding trip with Calyptura Expeditions and had a wonderful time. The birding on site and from the road nearby was excellent - there is a trail leading into the forest behind the hotel, and we saw lots of good birds including Squamate Antbird, Black-headed Berryeater, and Bare-throated Bellbird. We had a singing Long-tufted Screech-Owl at night. There is a fruit feeder setup here that brings many beautiful birds in close - great for viewing or photographing. Overall, we had a lot of excellent birding from this stunning location. The views of the forested hills over their little pond made us feel like we were in a little bit of paradise. The food was great - the staff did a great job of providing vegan food for us that was very tasty. They even made a delicious vegan chocolate cake for us! There was some onsite yoga while we were there, which was a fun addition (I'm not sure if this is always the case or just happened to be happened because of having staff interested in offering it). I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone interested in the birds and wildlife of the Atlantic Forest.

The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and an excellent shower with hot water day & night. Everything is spotless.. The view from the terraces is excellent watching the ferry boats making the crossing to Ilha Comprida where the beaches are. The complimentary breakfast, the only meal served, is ample. Give Cananeia and Recanto do Morro a try and you won't be disappointed.

Dispone di camere con aria condizionata ,un ampio locale di ristorante ed una piscina. Trattamento famigliare ed accurato.
