Fernando y Natasha are really friendly hosts. The casa is located on a very good spot and the room we stayed was spacious and clean. Even with the storm they came to help with cleaning and taking care of us. Natasha is a very good cook; we had a delicious breakfast (5 cuc) and diner (12 cuc). We would highly recommend this place!

The casa is centrally located within walking distance to the cultural and commercial centers and only 500 meters from the Cathedral and Casa de la Trova. Although centrally located, the casa sits in a small side street offering a tranquil atmosphere away from any city noise. The owners are both professors; Rafael a Geography professor and wife Adis an English and Computer Technology professor. Rafael, Adis and staff take pride in making every minute of your stay a memorable and warm experience. We offer two totally independent and spacious rooms. Both rooms have two beds each with extra space to accommodate more than two guests each. We offer total privacy since both rooms are located on the second floor. The rooms have balcony/terrace with rocking chairs, flower garden and healing plants. From the third floor terrace you will enjoy 360° views of the ocean, the mountains, as well as views of the city's roof tops. While relaxing on the terrace, you will enjoy the fresh breeze and the view of the ocean and the mountains; at night you can enjoy having a drink while gazing at the beautiful stars display. Each room offers its own private full bathroom with hot water 24 hours a day. Linens and towels are changed daily unless you order otherwise. There is a library with book exchange in different languages. Each room is equipped with air conditioning. We offer various other services like laundry services, bicycle rentals, schedule tours, salsa dance classes, Spanish classes, and Cuban cuisine classes (our specialties are fish in coconut milk and other local dishes). Adis is an expert in preparing local and traditional foods. The main house is occupied by Rafael and Adis.
When we visited Adis was away visiting her daughter in Miami, but Rafael was a lovely host. We were able to park our car opposite the house and it was looked after by the neighbours for 2 CUCs per night. Rafael arranged a local driver (Angel) for a day out for us, and he was wonderful and spoke great english (a former english teacher). The Casa is in a great location near to the centre of town, and has a lovely terrace where breakfast is served. The main two rooms were already being used when we arrived, so were were in a downstairs room at the front of the house. This meant we did hear the road noise at night, and the sheets were nylon, which is not great given the heat. We also had problems getting any hot water in the shower. However, if you can get one of the two rooms upstairs, I am sure things are much better.

Downtown House with 2 bedrooms 2 large beds with private bathroom, air conditioner, refrigerator inside and also a safety deposit box. The house has ocean views from the terrace and a lounge. Featured here Baracoa typical home cooking with coffee included in every meal. There is also a welcome drink offering for the house. We are 2 blocks from the bus terminal and 2 km from the airport. We are 2 blocks from the beach and 2 minutes walk from the historical center
Our group of four stayed here for couple of nights. 2 guys stayed in an average room on the first floor and my other friend and I stayed in a massive room on the 2nd floor. Each of us had a "nearly king size" bed and there was still plenty of room. We had windows on 3 sides so had nearly panoramic view over the city. And next to our room there was a terrace where they served our breakfast/dinner. The family was very polite and nice, we did enjoy our stay. Actually we loved Baracoa area the most during our 3 week trip throughout Cuba. Casa is only 10-15mins drive from Baracoa airport. It is 5 mins walk to city center from casa.

Casa Bella Vista Baracoa It is located in one of the best areas of Baracoa, in front of the city’s bay, a privileged position to enjoy the views, especially during the sunset, which can be enjoyed from the house’s terrace and the first room. An incredible gastronomical service is offered (breakfast, lunch, cocktails…) A modern house with three comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms (each with its own private bathroom, with a permanent service of hot and cold water), TV, hairdryer, a spectacula
This vista is exactly what we were looking for, a very friendly host, great rooms that I couldn’t fault, amazing view over the bay and a very tasty breakfast. There is also a place to park out the front for free too! Although be careful of the man hole in the road, I nearly destroyed my rental on this hole because me and my partner were too distracted with the view.

Colonial house situated in the centre of town. Location: three blocks away from the Viazual bus-terminal, the Casa de la Trova (live music), the cathedral and the seaside boulevard (El Malecon). The beach is a ten to fifteen minutes walk (playa de Miel). Three rooms are available:The first "habitacion" (tipo suit) has two rooms each containig beds, aircondicioning a fan and a private bathroom (hot and cold water 24 hours a day). Further, it contains a minibar and has a private terrace directly leading on to a well-kept garden. The second room has two beds; the windows give fresh air and a view of the garden. The room also has aircondicioning, a fan and a private bathroom (hot and cold water 24 hours a day). The third room has a double bed, aircondicioning, a fan, windows for fresh air and a private bathroom (hot and cold water 24 hours a day). Both rooms have the use of a fridge situated on a covered terrace. The garden has coffee, avocado cacao, banana and fruit trees and many flowering plants. Upstairs is a terrace with beautiful views of the sea and city. Typical Baracoan breakfast and evening meals can be served in the garden or on the terrace. A laundry service is available. Cesar speaks some English and can arrange excursions.
The casa i run by Cesar's mother and I stayed in this casa for 5 days. Comparing to all casas I have seen in Cuba the rooms in the upper floors have a very high standard. I liked my stay here but what is very unusual and very annyoing is that they don't hand out a key to the front door. The door is usually locked and everytime I wanted to enter I had to knock. This was especially annoying when I forgot little things or when I came home at night. I sometimes had to wait about 15 minutes till she wakes up and found her very grumpy then. I felt like I am 14 again returning home to my mother. This made me move to another casa.

There is no shortage of things to do in the area: explore popular parks such as Parque Independencia. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Casa Buena Vista as you experience everything Baracoa has to offer.
We stayed in the room on the top floor of this casa and the view is spectacular, looking over the rooftops and the bay on one side and El Yunque on the other side. The room was comfortable and the food was great, they even catered to my partners vegetarian diet. Even though me and my partner were learning Spanish the hosts were very patient and helped us out. The hosts were very friendly and we felt very comfortable staying in their Casa. It was an excellent base to explore Baracoa from. The only downside was the items in the fridge, and a mojito we we're offered with dinner, were much more expensive than in the other casas we stayed in. However it's probably our fault for not checking the prices before hand. Overall I would strongly recommend this Casa to anyone wanting to explore Baracoa.

We have been in 6 cities in Cuba but only for Casa de Yamilet we can say that it was really special place. We called from Havana if we can stay two nights but at the end we stayed three nights and we would stay more if we would have more time. When we came to Baracoa there was a man at the bus station waiting for us to take us to Casa de Yamilet. We got nice and really clean room. It is not in modern style but it has it own charm. Every day we had breakfast on the terrace with beautiful view and with the best mango marmalade I have ever eat. And also two nights we had dinner there. First night because you should have one meal there and the second night because the food was so good that we wanted to eat there again. Anyway Yamilet and Ramon were really nice and helpful to us. With their help we had really good time in Baracoa and for us it was the only city we would want to go back if we would go to Cuba again. Because we would be happy to see again Yamilet and Ramon and Baracoa’s nature.
