In reality it really looks like a house turned into a restaurant/accommodation. Rooms are basic and they only provide fans which is not so bad because it's cool during the night. They have a restaurant downstairs which serves decent food. The staff are accommodating and they just basically let you do your thing and they are willing to arrange van transfers for you if you happen to not catch the jeepney going back to Banaue or assist you in anything you need. The best part is they have this insane view of the rice terraces. You can basically chill and have your coffee while overlooking Batad's masterpiece which is one of the few travel destinations that looks even better than the photos. It's very surreal how amazing it is. The only thing I would love for them to improve though is the bathroom situation. But overall I can't complain. After all we only paid Php1,200.00 for 2 nights and it's really not a place to look for luxurious type of accommodations. I mean duh you're in the middle of the mountains what do you expect. Also, PSA to all who's travelling to Batad: Please treat the locals with respect. This is not your usual tourist-y place so please show a little bit of decency as this place is a major part of their culture and livelihood. Other than that, have fun!

My wife and I stayed here for a night during our trip through Banaue. The pictures are just as advertised with magnificent views of the Rice terraces and the village. First off everyone should know, is that Batad is about 40 minutes from Banaue town proper bus stop. A tricycle costs about 700 pesos one way from what we checked as the jeepneys only leave in the late afternoon when full. Once you reach the Batad drop off point, you need to walk 20 - 25 minutes downhill along the trail to reach the accommodation. Along the way you pay the 50 peso environmental fee. Remember there is no mobile signal in Batad (Smart or Globe). Your last point would be up on the Batad Saddle before you ride down to the drop off point. The room itself we got was the double room for 700 P. It is basic but that's what you expect. It had a double bed, a single bed and 2 power outlets. There is no fan and the shower/toilet is shared (towels are provided). The interiors are clean and well maintained. The view from your window has to be the highlight. The restaurant is just below the Inn and is part of Ramon Homestay. The meals are good and all priced at 185 pesos (a bit pricey but again think about the location and the difficulty in getting supplies). Everything on the menu may not be available. It looks like they used ti have cultural shows pre-pandemic however this was not operational at the time. Overall a great stay. Peaceful, disconnected and a great view to go with it. Would definitely recommend.

A very basic, clean and simple accommodation that is located less than 10 minutes walk from Banaue town proper and from the bus station. 5 Rooms with 1 room with attached bathroom and 4 rooms with shared bathrooms. 3 Of our rooms is facing the rice terraces.
Here you’ll find the sweetest host and best tour guide around. They welcome you and take good care of you. Mind that the rooms reflect the price but you won’t find anything else spectacular in the area anyway. I enjoyed the company, the veggie curry and the view!

Bogah homestay is located at Batunbinongle, Bocos, Banaue Ifugao 3601 Philippines. The place is about less than a kilometer away from the Banaue town center and about 10 minutes walk by taking the hanging bridge from the Banaue public Market. The manager is also a certified and proffesional tour guide and driver.
Beautiful location by the rice terraces, in a quite part of town. We stayed just one night but it was beautiful. Joel, the host was very friendly and helped is arranging tours and transport all at a very reasonable price. From the start, he was willing to help even before we arrived, which I liked. It helped plan the next few days and give us a chance to see more of the area. As we were coming from Maligcong, he arranged a transfer for us with stops along the way at the view points. The next day arranged a day tour for us by tricycle to Bangaan, Ducligan and a drop off to Batad to our next accommodation. He even picked us up from Batad the following day and allowed us to shower and use the facilities before our bus back to Manila. The accommodation also does a free pick up drop off to the bus stop which is 5 minutes away. The room itself, we took the one with the private balcony, and it was exactly as described in terms of the view. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. The food was good even though the portions were a bit small for the price. I would definitely recommend this hotel while staying in Banaue. Its a very peaceful setting in addition to the fact you will have help to get the most of the area.

i think this place is overpriced: room are small and more expansive than the other guesthouse nearby, most of all i was beaten by bed bugs, i tell to the owner and he became angry telling me that it's normal in the mountain (but this is not true)

We stayed for one night in this friendly little family place. The owner are really friendly and give us good advice about trekking around batad. The food was really good and the room was basic but perfectly clean. It is even possible to have a hot shower for 50 pesos. We couldn’t imagine that in this remote place in the mountain. Definitely worth visiting and staying there.
