I really enjoyed this hotel, located in a quiet area of Passolongo in Val Badia. The place is stunning, all the hotel balconies have a magnificent sight on the mountains and everything is embedded in the green and nature. There is a beautiful feeling that you have staying there , giving you the perception and the magic of the contact with the nature and freedom. I highly recommend this hotel for who loves mountains and mountain sports even during the summer season. The staff was extremely nice, friendly, helpful and very accommodating in every situation. I definitely will return to this magic place and people.

Stayed here with another couple w/c 10th march. Snow conditions on piste were ok and we could just manage to ski-in ski-out. If there is no more snow then a walk will be needed. The hotel itself was lovely. The decor was traditional alpine style and everywhere was clean and not at all shabby. Breakfast was lovely and varied and included a choice of freshly cooked fried, scrambled or boiled eggs, cold meats, cheese, pastries and fresh fruit. We were also offered latte or cappuccino as a coffee choice with no extra to pay. My husband used the sauna/steam room for which flip flops, towelling robe and towels were provided. The town of Arabba was very small and quiet with any apres ski happening in hotel bars. Evening meals were taken at the sister hotel. The salad and dessert buffet was lovely with lots of choice, however we felt they were trying to hard to be “posh” for the starter and main courses. Some were delicious others not so much. All in all the hotel was lovely but possibly a bit quiet for us.

The Garni Emma is a family run b&b managed by Mrs. Nadia. It is located in the centre of Arabba, in the heart of the Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage. The central location of the b&b is an advantage for every season: only 150m from the lifts "Burz" and "Portavescovo", which are part of the famous Sellaronda circuit and the Dolomiti Superski skicarousel. Also for the summer season it is an ideal destination for hiking, walking, motorbiking, road bike and mountain bike tours. The simple and well-tended ambience as well as the spontanous and hearty hospitality of the owner are the authentic values of the house. After a nice "Good Morning" by Mrs. Nadia you will start the day in a perfect way with a rich and delicious breakfast buffet: beside the corn flakes, puffed rice, brioches and cold cuts you will find the exquisite home made cakes. Thanks to the familiar atmosphere and the hospitality of the Garni Emma you will feel like you are at home. Moreover you are surrounded by a unique and wonderful panorama: the charming and breathtaking Dolomite - landscape with its woods and majestic peaks.
We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel is clean and the owner is friendly. Breakfast is simple but nice. The owner's son teach me how to cook spaghetti carbonara. The location is good and is not too far to go any where.

This is a lovely, comfortable hotel with friendly owner and staff. The room was large as was the bathroom and very clean. Even had a smal balcony to sit outside and wath the world go by. On edge of Arabba, but only a few minutes walk to everything. Lots of storage space for bikes in the garage. Breakfast was good continental fair. Only wee downside of the stay was the coffee machine, not the best you'll get in Italy. Didn't provide dinner, but there are plenty of options in Arabba and near by. A great base to explore this amazing region.

For the winter and a budget accommodation, this is a good choice. Nice breakfast, clean rooms, location is close to the slopes, the host is always ready to help. A better room noise isolation and a ski-boot room will help.

Garni Bellavista is situated in a quiet position with panoramic view at 500 meters from the center of Arabba and the slopes and lifts of the Sellaronda. The rooms have bathroom with shower, hairdryer, satellite tv, wi-fi, telephone and most have balcony. A sauna is available for the guests. The ski equipment can be stored in the skiroom at Hotel Portavescovo close to the slopes. In the winter season half-board with dinner in Hotel Portavescovo is available.
The hotel was extremely below standard for a 3 star rating and I feel we were totally misled by the travel company giving it this rating (also shown as 3 stars on the website). Our twin room was not fit for two twin beds. They were jammed together and even then the bathroom door would not close unless one of the bedside tables was at 90 degrees. Every morning, the windows all accumulated huge amounts of condensation and left puddles on the floor and window cills. We had to use our bathroom towels to soak up the puddles. We did open the windows to ventilate the area, but when the temperature is - 10°C, it quickly makes the room very cold. There were no heating controls in the room and no extractor in the bathroom. The room always smelt of damp and my daughter and I have both come home ill which I believe is as a result of the damp room facilities. We were disturbed on two occasions by the cleaners just walking into our room without knocking. It was only on the last morning that they provided a 'Do Not Disturb' sign. The evening meal (taken at the sister hotel ~ The Portovesco) had to be chosen the night before which is not acceptable, but the food quality was excellent. When you are eating a meal, the last thing you want to do is think about a menu for the following night. Also, no wine/drinks list was provided at the table, so I felt a bit conned buying a bottle of wine for €22 when I could have bought a carafe for half the price. At the Bellavista, you had to book a time slot for breakfast. The food which had to be pre~chosen at the beginning of the week was put out on the tables at 7.00 am, so when you sat to eat it, (we are latish risers), it had been sitting in the sun the meat/cheese was warm, curling at the edges and the yoghurt was warm temperature. The ski lockers which we could use at the sister hotel had the benches outside for boot changing, whereas the Portovesco had indoor facilities, so we felt like the poor relations. This accommodation is definitely NOT 3 star. It is more like a guest house ~ there is no soundproofing between the rooms and the communal areas and you could hear very easily conversations carried out in the corridor outside the room which were disturbing late at night and early in the morning. The reception staff were unfriendly and did not offer any help us with our bags or offer to tell us about any of the hotel or sister hotel facilities. I have to say though that the two waitresses were friendly and helpful and served both breakfast and evening meal in the sister hotel. The sister hotel was lovely, and I cannot understand how the Hotel Bellavista would allow any association with this sub standard accommodation. If you are looking for basic guest house accommodation, this could fit the criteria, but it is definitely not 3 stars and I can only assume that the association with the sister hotel gives it the rating.

The best little Garni. Breakfast service is very nice, they make eggs an GOOD coffee upon request and serve ham, speck and cheese. Nice and clean rooms and many of them with a good view of Arabba. If you come here for skiing, you will get a private locker right next to the lift for skis, boots, helmet etc. This means you won’t have to walk with all your equipment, which is great! And Giliola is the best hostess

The Residence Campolongo is situated in a quiet position on top of the Campolongo Pass at 800 meters distance from the slopes and the lifts of the Sellaronda. The Residence has modern and functional apartments of different sizes with bathroom, shower, kitchen, electric oven, satellite TV, wi-fi, telephone and balcony. The wellness area offers sauna, steam-bath and jacuzzi. A games room with table tennis and a bar complete the services.
We found this venue disappointing. The entrance is not very inviting and bare. The decor is loveless. All floors are in puce-coloured tiles with not a single piece of carpet. The furniture is largely plastic veneer chipboard. The single receptionist spoke very little English or German. We had a choice of two apartments. One was renovated with a proper bed and two drop-down bunks upstairs and a sleeping couch downstairs. The beds were of good quality. The other room was tired, had no proper beds, just two small rooms with two drop-down bunk beds each upstairs and a sleeping couch downstairs. No proper bed. For the rest the apartments were identical, plenty of luggage space and cupboards, a basic small kitchenette (no microwave or dishwasher) and a minuscule outdated but clean bathroom, one extra washbasin in the corner of the upstairs hallway. No safe. For two persons, possibly a family with two smaller children, the room was OK, but it is beyond me how the six persons that it was laid out for could possibly fit in. Ambiance consisted of one print on the wall, The complex has a smallish Sauna area and children's playroom which we did not use. The walls were not very soundproof and together with the contact noise from the tile floors it was not a very quiet place. The ventilation of the kitchenettes left to be desired, as the whole place smelt of food at meal times. The whole setup reminded me of tourist places in Eastern Europe in the 1980ies. All in all, given the excellent location it is adequate for persons looking for just a place to sleep and to be out on the ski slopes all day, but in that case it is rather pricey.
