We walked right the way to the end from Golf down to los where the walk way ended. Amazing view of the sea all the way, I can only imagine the cost of this new walk way that’s been installed but it’s 100% worth it. It joins the locations up and makes it easy for tourists to get to the different areas on foot. Only took about 45 mins to walk one way and with them views it felt like less. Will be doing another stroll down there regularly on my hols.

Stayed in this charming town for 4 nights. Crashing seas, natural swimming pool, 2 local bar/restaurants. A peaceful escape from the hubbub of the tourist trail.

My teenage daughters really liked this beach or the huge waves, while I enjoyed the special atmosphere created by the two enormous rocks. Although we stayed in south Tenerife, we went back to this beach three times in 12 days. It's not easy to find, and definitely tricky to reach, but absolutely worth the effort There are two ways to get down to the beach, the easier one is on a path that leads down from the end of Camino Burgado street.

As you can see from the photos, the beach has black, volcanic sand typical for the Canary Islands. The road from Santa Cruz is good although a little tricky. Actually I can recommend you using public transportation - bus number 946. There's a stop wright in front of the beach and Roque de las Bodegas. Also go to the beach during low tide - you get to enjoy wider strip of sand. Another thing worth mentioning is that the waves are bigger than the south side which makes this beach choice number one for the surfers from the Santa Cruz area.

Las Teresitas has everything that makes Tenerife famous. It has the best beach on the island, ideal for kids and with plenty of parking. It is also a hidden gem, more than 95 per cent of the visitors are people from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of Tenerife. Next to Teresitas is a small fishing village called San Andres with many excellent fish restaurants, I can wholeheartedly recommend Ramon.

Thus beach is accessible only by car. It is more for locals and do expect some nudists but is is a fab beach. The black sand is amazing and it's within a cove, sea is great to swim in and there is a little cafe.
