Corsica is a weird and wonderful island, replete with gorgeous beaches and breathtaking mountains. Bonifacio, a harbor city on the southern tip, is rich with history. Check out the prehistoric Araguina-Sennola caves and the Genoese towers, and be sure to take the train through the mountains to the beach—a spectacular adventure. Biking, hiking, rafting and diving are popular activities.

My family and I recently traveled to Corsica for the first time and mainly visited the southeast part of the island. Out of all the beautiful beaches we saw, La Plage du petit Sperone was definitely our favorite! Alone the fact that you can only reach the beach by foot made the experience even more enjoyable. The water was so crystal clear, calm and warm, great for snorkeling! And also perfect for our 2 year old to play in it and be safe. If you are traveling through this part of Corsica a visit to this beach is a must!

There is a long but narrow road which brings to a beautiful beach with a very nice view on the clear sea as well as massive yachts! The beach is long and quite so everybody which goes there can have their own relaxing space..

Gently sloping into the sea, perfect for children, or for playing paddle ball with water up to your waist, the parking facility was ok, the parking fee was waved because we were staying at a bed and breakfast on the same road, it wasn't too crowded when we were there ... clean
