The grid was originally plotted in 1606 and emanated from Friedrichsburg fortress, which later became the site of Mannheim Palace. Today, it partly houses the University of Mannheim. Great bar in Jungbusch. Have been multiple times and is always fantastic. I recommend going on Fridays or Saturdays when the atmosphere is a bit more lively. Fantastic music, great staff and even better beers!
