A gorgeous spot that’s a convenient day trip from Milan, Lake Como recently earned fame as home to Hollywood star George Clooney. But celeb-spotting aside, it’s known for jaw-dropping natural beauty, elegant old villas—and the scenic towns surrounding the lake. Check out Varenna, Bellagio, and Menaggio, which offer great views, historic churches, and water-based activities such as ferries and passenger-only boats.

Snack Bar in center position near supermarket, pharmacy, newsstand, cartolibreria, travel agency, bakery and other commercial activities. It's a welcoming location for everyone: with a slot room with a smoking and local area for watching sports shows of the Italian Football League and the Champions League

The bar and restaurant are two separate management
Not very inviting from the outside. We had flown in to Milan rented a car and were, on our way to Lake Como area. Tired and hungry and just stopped here. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The view of the lake was beautiful. Very little English spoken but everyone was so nice and accommodating. Very understated and comfortable. Lunch special was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our first introduction to this part of Italy. Set the tone for a wonderful visit. I would make this a must do. BarII Pescatore
