Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

A rare bar in Seoul that plays classic soul and R&B. The friendly owner, DJ YJ, is a DJ and sound engineer who has a great sound system and love of the genre.

As implied by the name, Beton Brut is a minimalistic concrete cell nestled in the nightlife hub of seoul, itaewon. This techno-focused music delivered through a top-of-the-notch Funktion-one sound system that the owner constantly tweaks to satisfy even the most serious audiophiles. The club has a very raw atmosphere with arts on every wall by local artists making it a perfect place for raving.

Great whisky and whiskey collection both by the glass as well as in bottles. Nightly live entertainment. Dislikes: Shared toilet. Some stairs to climb.
