Small pub selling craft ales and ciders. A wide rànge of premium craft gins , vodkas, rums and whiskies along with Belgium beers and fine wines. We also serve food on Tuesday evening, except the last Tuesday of the month when there is a regular quiz.
A great little boozer with a lovely atmosphere. Well presented and clean. Dogs welcome (with well behaved keepers!) a real treat is the home cooked meals on Tuesday nights. (Except once a month quiz night)

Popped in to the barrel yesterday evening as they had a mini beer festival. There are some super brews available, I had a beer I hadn't drunk for some time - Theakston's Old Peculiar, every bit as good as I remembered. The usual cheery banter from a convivial bunch of enthusiastic imbibers looked after by Emma. Has to be one of the best micro pubs in the area.

This is an excellent Micro-Pub. A very welcoming landlord, a decent range of locally brewed beers and excellent prices on beers, wines and spirits. What really sets it apart, though, is the friendly clientele. Well worth a visit.

We managed to book a table at the last minute. This pub had lovely sea views and lovely, welcoming staff. We ordered the Hampton burger and chips and the gammon, egg and chips. The food was delicious. The desserts were great too. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Little bar on Herne Bay Pier selling a wide range of local real ales, local ciders, wines, spirits. Seating inside and outside.
Lovely pint and a half of Goody’s Good Shepherd overlooking Herne Bay on a beautiful sunny February afternoon.
