Berlin is an edgy city, from its fashion to its architecture to its charged political history. The Berlin Wall is a sobering reminder of the hyper-charged postwar atmosphere, and yet the graffiti art that now covers its remnants has become symbolic of social progress. Check out the Weltzeituhr (world time) Clock, topped by a model of the solar system, then turn back time by dining at the historic Zur Letzten Instanz, a 16th century restaurant that was frequented by Napoleon and Beethoven.

// BAR IS TEMPORARILY A BOTTLE SHOP // Independent craft beer bar with 22 rotating taps and 100+ specialty bottles. Two nitro taps, taster trays, patio seating, cozy sofas and board games.
One of the top 3 spots for craft beer in Europe and hands down the best for a combination of spontaneously fermented beer and natural wine in Berlin. Jenia and Corbin are amazing hosts, with tremendous knowledge of beer. It‘s always one of my highlights when visiting Berlin.

It's Comedy. On a Boat. On the Spree. Berlin's most scenic comedy show will brighten up your day and make you laugh. Laughing Spree Comedy is a weekly English comedy show, hosted by Comedian Chris Doering, with an extremely friendly atmosphere and some of Berlin's finest comedians, lots of guest comedians and the occasional first timer. And it's all for free, including compulsory free shots at the door! When? Every Monday Where? The Floating Lounge, Eastern Comfort Hostelboat (by East Side Gallery) When again? Doors open at 8pm, Show starts 8.30pm See you buoys and gulls aboard the ship. Keep on laughing!
I loved the location and atmosphere of this show. It's right next to the iconic East Side Gallery, and the Floating Lounge is an actual boat on the Spree. I loved being able to watch the sunset with a beer in hand in between the two halves of the show. And the show is nice and fast-paced. You get to see a lot of different comedians in a relatively short amount of time. This is a great thing to do before heading out to Friedrichshain bars for the night--the show puts you in a good mood for a good night out.

Your ticket includes 3 drinks, one in the heated Tavern and two in the actual Icebar. What are you waiting for? Book your place on the Hansa now!
The ice bar was a very fun experience. We liked a lot. And the drinks were very good. A little snack at the bar would have been nice. But not necessary:)

Welcome to THE stage for New Circus The CHAMÄLEON stands for contemporary circus like no other venue in Germany. This is an exciting new art form that deliberately blurs the boundaries between different genres, such as acrobatics, dance, music and theatre, in order to create something thrilling and cutting-edge. In Berlin’s pulsating centre, we have dedicated ourselves to New Circus with great passion and a love of adventure since 2004. Through a clear conceptual approach, we show how wonderfully surprising and different contemporary circus productions can be. We are committed to presenting innovative circus productions from all over the world in a warm, beautiful space where hospitality is our top priority, always aiming to provide our guests with a beautiful, unexpected, thoroughly enriching theatre experience. Those who come to us are looking for the new, unknown and breath-taking. Nothing is unimaginable in this space of creative excellence. Everything seems possible in a world where experimentation and unlimited curiosity form the basis of every creation. We bring the innovators and creative circus trailblazers of the international circus scene to Berlin and collaborate with circus companies which defy conventions, challenge expectations and, thus, nurture our understanding of what circus is and what circus can be. Come and visit us in our historic ballroom in the heart of Berlin and get swept away into a world that will captivate you in the first few seconds.
We just came out of the Le Coup show at Chamaleon Theater and we are thrilled!! It was a marvelous show with talented acrobats and musicians which also had exceptional theatrical skills!! Highly recommended. We feel very lucky that we had this experience during our trip in Berlin!

The Lang Bar in Waldorf Astoria Berlin pays homage to one of Berlin's most interesting and influential residents of the past - film director Fritz Lang. The interior design of the spacious Art Deco bar was inspired by Waldorf Astoria New York, whereas other elements such as the lighting, are inspired by director Lang. The American bar serves a selection of cocktail classics with a modern finish as well as an exclusive selection of whiskies, vodka, gin and spirits. Craft beers from Braufactum complete the beverage menu. In the summer months and during fair weather, the bar team moves its operations to the event terrace on the sixth floor. Live music performances and various events are held in the bar on a regular basis.

Redwood bar specializes in classic cocktails from the prohibition era and friendly welcoming service. We use fresh pressed citrus and homemade bitters in our classic and seasonal creations. With low music and no wifi we wish to create an environment where conversation is the best adornment to our drinks. If you don't know what kind of cocktail you like, have a chat with one of the bartenders. We love to help people find their favourite place on our menu matrix.
