The Swan is a family-friendly pub, serving a wide range of fresh, home-cooked food. Whether you’re looking to enjoy traditional pub food, or real ales or our selection of wines, The Swan Pub is the place for you. Located in the heart of the Ashford Town Centre, this spacious pub is dog-friendly and has a large rear beer garden to enjoy the sunshine! We also have a large selection of draught beers and lagers on tap, so if real ale isn’t for you, there’s always going to be something to drink.

Superb little micropub, friendly host, encourages conversation and music. Generally 3 different ales on rotation, an array of gins, wine, cider... often local produce. Snacks too and you can bring your own food in to enjoy a pint with. Dog friendly.

We jumped on the train at Canterbury to go and enjoy the pub garden at the tickled trout. As always we weren't disappointed. We arrived to find a lovely shady spot and ordered some drinks, the pub garden is so pretty with a great atmosphere. The river running along the bottom is always full of family's or their pet dogs cooling off from the sun. Although we always find the pub bustling with people we always manage to find somewhere to sit, quick service at the bar and a great bite to eat. The staff are always attentive and friendly although at busy times always seem to be rushed off their feet! We really enjoy the Sunday roast dinners, we find it difficult to find a good pub roast on a Sunday in Canterbury so love to venture out to surrounding villages to try out the pubs, the tickled trout never disappoints!! Will be back very soon!
