Reviews on Barbecue food in Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina's fascinating capital Sarajevo nestles among dramatic peaks, a bustling and welcoming city. War took its toll, with the 1992-1996 siege hitting hard. But the lively, diverse, museum-rich city has been almost entirely reconstructed. Don't miss Bijambare caves, set in thick forests and amid lakes to the north of the city, or Bosna Springs, from which the country takes its name. Site of 1984's Winter Olympics, Sarajevo offers spectacular skiing on Mount Bjelasnica Jahorina.

We were in Sarajevo for business and stopped by Amerikanic for dinner. Kemal was our waiter and was very helpful especially since none of us spoke Bosnian. The food and the excellent service has brought us back there several times in our 5 week stay.

Superb local and international dishes, a pleasant atmosphere and wooden interior are all reasons enough to visit this restaurant, and the view of the renovated Sarajevo beauty â VijeÄnica â will simply enhance the entire experience. Located near the heart
It may be worthwhile to go to the restaurants, passing magic Bascarsija and after a short walk along the river Miljacka, finish with a beautiful evening sitting on its banks where the restaurant is located. Enjoying continues with great food, service and music.

Restaurant Bazeni, often called "Sarajevo Raft", is well known restaurant in the center of Sarajevo. It is located in the most beautiful part of the city, a famous place called Bantbaša, with open terraces placed over the river Miljacka with a beautiful s
The restaurant is really spacious, and it was almost empty when I came in, which was a big shame, because the food that I tried there was really good, and the price for the portions I got was more than affording. They should advertise the restaurant more because it has a great potential. The position next to the river makes it unique, the food is really delicious, and the price is more than affordable.

Traditional Sarajevo grill with 50 years of tradition. Welcome!
We ordered ÄevapÄiÄi, some grilled vegetables and potatos, everything was good and prices were moderate. The service was ok.The ambient is nothing special, it's small and simple but it's in the city center.

Cevabdzinica (Restaurant) Galatatasay has a long tradition, located in the heart of the old town of Sarajevo near the Bey's Mosque ( Begova džamija) .Restaurant is known for its excellent quality food and service. Owner Tarik Hodzic, a former famous footb
Went here based on reviews and because it was quiet. The menu is very limited but we shared local dishes and a large salad. Seating is incredibly low and difficult to eat comfortably around the tables unless you use the low stools. The restaurant feels like you are in someoneâs front room wile you watch them cook so itâs a bit quirky and itâs very welcoming and relaxed. Staff donât speak English although a couple of dishes do have some explanations in English and most are obvious if used to eating Turkish food. Food was okay but nothing amazing but itâs incredibly cheap. Total for large salad, 2 mains and 2 soft drinks £11. Good cheap eat if every where else is busy.

This Äevabdžinica is similar to other similar establishments in BaÅ¡ÄsrÅ¡ija, the menu, food, set-up... Yet, there is something special about food there. As long as youâre not a vegetarian youâll be in a happy place here. Food is tasty, quick, cheap and it quickly makes you want to try more. The only drawback is that during the peak hours itâs too crowded and the wait for a table can be quite long.

Delicious and authentic Sarajevo ÄevapÄiÄi. It is hard to find a free place, but itâs worth to try some times. The dish itself is delicious, meat is well prepared and juicy, including lepinja (bread) and always fresh kajmak (cheese). The service is very kind and quick, the price is very good.

We tried here on the strong reviews and on first impressions were pleased. It was busy with decent music and the atmosphere was good. We were tempted by some tapas, mistake. It eventually arrived, cold. The waiter apologised and took it back and the next serving was hotter. The wonders of a modern microwave! None of it was fresh - our mistake maybe as we should have had a burger, but it wasn't good regardless. To top it off, when paying the waitress was barely civil. It's a shame, as it could have been a nice meal.
