Having walked around Terni for an hour on a cold December night we were fed up with not finding a suitable open restaurant. My wife asked a local Terni lady for help on a good restaurant and she recommended this gem. We walked in and was greated with a huge smiling owner. Even though he wasnt busy he made sure we had an amazing meal. The best part is for certain his wine selection, just excellent at reasonable prices. I really hope more tourists can discover this little trattoria as the food was fabulous but even better was the hospitality. Can recommend a visit to anyone.

Searching the area around our B&B for dinner, we walked past a we simple bars, then a standup pizza place,but continued our quest for somewhere with real seating, ideally inside since though it was a very pleasant evening, my wife is always cold.We chanced upon La Citta Vecchia, and we could not have been more pleased. Seated inside, the Muzak was a bit loud, but not enough to totally end conversation, and the stone arched ceilings and general decor were as warm as the reception by our waiter.The waiter was helpful in adding details for our menu selections, and my gnocchi was excellent and my wife's soup hearty enough for a complete meal. We had sides of grilled vegetables and an Insalata mista which were also superb. Withal argue bottle of water with gaz,our dinner total was a most reasonable 25 euro!

This restaurant might not be the most authentic restaurant in town, as the inside looks quite new and a bit artificial, but still I was surrounded by only local people and the menu and spoken language was all in italian. That's how I like a local experience. The food was excellent and served with the appropriate speed, table wine was good ans drunk by clay cups which just enhanced the experience of locality. Was not full this Saturday for lunch but a fair traffic of people coming and leaving. Great choice for an unformed and local lunch.

Anyone visiting Terni should experience dining at Crunch. The menu is exciting and innovative featuring flavor combinations so unusual you will be surprised with every mouthful. Who would put tiny sweet meringues with lamb? It really worked. The service is super helpful with full explanations of all the offerings.We loved this place and will definitely return.

Una macelleria riconvertita in ristorante. Vale assolutamente la pena di entrare e fermarsi ad assaporare le delizie proposte. Consiglio il tagliere maxi e la tagliata (fatevi aggiungere pecorino e guanciale che sono una bomba!). Personale gentilissimo, prezzi assolutamente adeguati

A true Italian restaurant with a nice warm feeling.The service was great and Leonardo the chef given a free hand to surprise us with 2 different Pasta dishes, excelled himself with the Beef in Fatchuini and Mozarella with potatos in the revioli. (one for me, one for wife)It was that good that we did not want to finish the serving.Highly Recommended

This place was recommended by the desk clerk at the Garden hotel in Terni. Her directions were somewhat incorrect as she said it was right by the waterfalls; however, it was actually about 8 km past the water falls...so keep going when you see the waterfalls. The owner greeted us at the door and seated us promptly. There are about 15 tables total and just about everyone was filled. Very nice atmosphere and service. Menus are available in English as well as Italian. Excellent antipasti, first and second plates and dolce. Definitely a first-class dining experience at a reasonable price!

One of the worst lunch experiences we ever encountered in italy ! Service was terribly bad, as it was most obvious that both the waittress as well as the owner had no joy to be hospitable to their guests. No interest in their customers whatsoever. Slow service and rude !.Food is awful and expensive. I had a seafood platter which should have some rocket salad included, but instead I received some salad leftovers, which you normally would keep to feed to your pet rabbits !.My wife ordered a steak which hardly contained any eatable meat, but mainly consisted of fat and bone and for which they even dared to ask 15 euro's !Never again! To anybody passing this place, don't bother to stop here !

Wonderful lunch. Very friendly staff, especially with our very limited Italian! Food absolutely wonderful. They did pasta with tomato sauce for the kids, no problem. Grilled trout was brilliant and tagliata ( grilled steak with rocket salad) was exceptional. Very reasonable with lovely wine. We have had many great meals in Italy but this has to be one of the best - if not THE best. Oh .... And the views are stunning too!!! My 9 year old son said this is the best restaurant he has ever been to and he has travelled a lot( praise indeed!)
